Which Hooligan In This Section Said Test Cricket Is Boring

Why has UFC replaced boxing so completely as a spectator and pay-per-view attraction?

Too much politics which translates to corruption in boxing. It is as simple as that. Too much politics prevents fans from getting the best match-ups. If anything it helps boxers avoid each other. When you have four sanctioning bodies (WBA, WBC, WBO and IBF), some of which are in the pockets of promoters, this is bound to happen.Just look at the Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez v Gennady Golovkin fiasco, for instance. When Canelo fought and beat Cotto for the WBC title last year, he became Golovkin’s mandatory challenger. So what happen’s next? He picks Amir Khan as an opponent in a mistmatch that should never have happened (I know Golovkin v Brook too was similar), then immediately drops the WBC belt for some bullshit reasons in order to avoid him. In short, that is what happens regularly in boxing. So where are we as it stands with the fight? The is really no telling. No hope for it in the immediate future. Just to add insult to injury, a guy like Canelo is the Ring and Lineal middleweight champion even though he hasn’t faced an actual middleweight, so go figure.I won’t even get into the Mayweather v Pacquiao debacle of yesteryears. A fight that should have happened five years before it actually did, and ended up being a colossal disappointment. The less said the better. The best simply avoid the best, with the organizations lending them a helping hand. It pisses people off and puts them off from spending their hard earned money.I know we just had the best pound for pound fighters (Kovalev v Ward) square off just recently but that is an extreme rarity these days. A collector’s item if you will.UFC fights are also fiercely promoted, as has been very eloquently put by Mr./Ms./Mrs. Anonymous, so there is that too. However, the main problem with boxing is the shortage of quality fights.

Why do many Sachin Tendulkar's fans dislike Rahul Dravid?

[Background: I agree with the description. Even I've seen many people who claim to be fans of Sachin Tendulkar and they proudly hate Rahul Dravid.]But let me tell you, these are not 'Sachin fans-turned-Dravid Haters'; these are 'Dravid haters-turned-Sachin fans'.Yes, there's a difference between the two. Let me explain.Cricket is much more beyond numbers. While no true cricket lover can dislike any of the two legends, there are people who cannot go past numbers. And because Sachin's numbers are unparalleled, these people cannot stand the equal respect that Dravid gets. They mainly dislike Dravid's lower strike rate.[But even this dislike is baseless. Dravid could adapt in any conditions and play as per the Team's needs. Examples - Dravid's 22 ball 50 vs NZ at Hyderabad, his 92*(63) vs England at Bristol etc. (I'm so tempted to post links to these in this answer as well :-P)]Now that they don't like Dravid, in order to make people take them seriously, they've to show that they know at least something about cricket. So they start believing that since Sachin's records are so well celebrated, pretending to be a Sachin fan would prove their knowledge of cricket. For such people, I use the term 'Dravid haters-turned-Sachin fans'.As I said, a true cricket lover can never hate any of these two legends. Both have contributed profusely to cricket and have shown immense determination and dedication towards the game. Before ending my answer, I'd like to share a funny video that makes us realize Rahul Dravid's contribution to Indian cricket. Some may find it unrelated, but this time I cannot resist my temptation. Who knows, it could be an eye opener for Dravid haters who might read my answer! Here's the video -

How was your first day at Galgotias University?

My first day at Galgotias! It was orientation time. I was not acquainted by the place Gr. Noida.Me and my new roomie started from hostel alone from the hostel bus (there was no on-campus girls’ hostel that time). Our orientation was at EXPO MART. So we did not know where it is. So we got down from the bus at the random stop.Gr. Noida is a very quite and peaceful place. No one could be seen there. And we were scared as we were told its not a safe place. Being only two girls we wondered where we had come, we started panicking. Then we saw an auto coming, we requested him to drop us at Galgotias, he smiled and said its just few blocks ahead. But…. We did not know where it is. So we started walking and no idea where we came to a very lonely place. Luckily, again we got an auto and he dropped us to EXPO MART.We entered a big hall, crowded with people, students etc. We were given temporary ID cards and a laptop bag of excellent quality named Galgotias University at the top. It had a pen, keyring and a notepad. We were made to sit in an auditorium and we made some friends. They told us all the good things but not the cons ofcourse. Mr. Navjodh Singh Siddhu visited and inspired us.We were provided with good food in lunch and then we left.My experience was normal. But as it was my first day so I was excited for it.*boring*
