Which Hostel Movie Did You Like The Most

Any movies worse than the Saw And Hostel movies?

August Underground - This is actually a trilogy of 3 movies. You want sick, you'll get sick! Saw and Hostel are Disney movies compared to these sickos. Here's the scenario: you are walking down the side of the road and you find a DVD. It's not labeled or anything so you take it home. You find that you have just stumbled upon a serial killers home video collection (think snuff film). That's it. Then you watch this killers home movie for the next 90 minutes. There is nothing like this out there, that I'll guarantee. The footage was even "doctored up" to make it look more realistic like it was dubbed several times over. This has excellent special effects and a very real feel to it! Very sick. You can get more information at the Toetag Pictures website and occasionally they are available on Amazon too.

Philosophy of a Knife - If you want torture you will get it here. This is a pseudo-documentary of a Japanese internment camp back at the end of World War 2. Everything that you see in this movie apparently happened. The first 45 minutes moves a little slowly but after that it's just scene after scene of torture and gore. It was shot very realistically and it is in Japanese and Russian. This is a gore fans delight. Total running time on this one is around 3 1/2 hours but it will leave you like no film has left you before.

Murder Set Pieces - Unrated Version ONLY! - Do not watch the R-Rated Lions Gate Version, it is not even the same film! This is simply the story of a psycho killer loose in Las Vegas. The effects are excellent, the acting is very wooden, but who cares, you want blood and gore, have a feast with this one! It even stars Gunnar Hansen (the original Leatherface) in a scene. This has what you are looking for, again don't get the R Rated one, you will not see any of the blood, gore, nudity or fun! This one is definitely over the top.

I hope you check some of them out, they are what you are asking for.

Is the movie hostel scary?

Nope. I watched it with my best friend and we actually laughed through most of it. It's somewhat bloody though. You should watch it, but don't watch it with your parents because there as some awkward scenes in a whore house, just warning you.

Is there going to be a Hostel 4?

I would hope that they would stop with the endless crappy sequels to horror movies. Saw should have ended at 3. Saw 3 had really good gore scenes. Now look at where it’s at, they even stopped giving it numbers and started to add a prefix, Jig- i.e. Jigsaw. Ughhhhhh. As a fan of the gore horror genre, I really liked Hostel, the first film particularly. It didn’t use any obvious CGI, the gore was made with practical effects, and that made you all the more squirmy. Movies like that, which were so believable in their gore and actually not shy away from showing it in front of the camera, was rare. If gore scenes became intense on horror movies, it would be implied off-camera or something would obscure it, but the first Hostel was indulgent, really indulgent, and that’s what I and other fans of the movie really liked. Watching the first Hostel was like watching a video from BestGore but this one had plot and was feature length.Hostel 2 was good as well. Hostel 3, was just a shameless attempt to squeeze out more money. It’s just a lazy film, that doesn’t even try to be good. It just happily rode the coattails of the previous films. The effects weren’t great, mostly were obviously fake CGI that you can just stare through them without even flinching. Whose idea was it to have fake CGI cockroaches?Goldilocks screams to her death while an army of CGI cockroaches, taken from ILM’s basement, happily scuttles down her throat. Hostel 3.If an actor was willing to film in a real pit of cockroaches, now that would be something else right? That would be taking a great leap, a big risk if you may, much like what Eli Roth did on the first film’s melted eye scene.Leather, Scissors and a Melted Eye. Hostel. But you know if some accountant from some company would show that there is still money to be made by making Hostel 4, they would still make it, but I highly doubt it. Buzz for the Hostel films have been all but extinguished by Hostel 3.

How is your hostel life?

Before I start my answer, I am a 1st year Btech student.1.From a boy who never preferred studying with even a single friend around, to studying with 3 roommates around, life has changed.2. From not being able spend a day without seeing my mother to spending months without her. Life changed. For the first 3 weeks or so, I was busy thinking how will I spend 4 years in hostel without my mother and father. Each day felt like a month.3. From waking up in morning by warm hands of my mother to waking up by a snoozed alarm. Life has changed.4. From tasty home cooked food to hostel's cold food life has changed.5. From regular television program to rarely watching TV life has changed.6. We may do as much fun with our friends in our hostel but there are days when tears roll down thinking of home life.7. From getting fresh washed clothes, bedsheets to washing them by ourselves life has changed.8. Nobody will ask you how your day has gone until you call your mother at the end of the day.9. Have you eaten properly? That's the first question you will hear when you call your mother. Are you fine and healthy ? That will be the second.10. We get happy over small things. Be it a cricket match, or a bunked class, or if there are 3 consecutive holidays.11. Sometimes roommates become your family. But if you are blessed then.12. You have to buy all your things by yourself. That's when you remember how your father provided you with all that you needed.13. Sleeping depends on your surrounding not when you feel sleepy.14. Leaving for home after semesters has become the best feeling in our life now.

Has anyone seen the movie Hostel and can answer this question?

OK, hopefully i get this plain and simple...
The whole movie is about a CLUB of people who pay money to kill different people in strange ways!
Each person pays for what nationality why want to kill...and murdering Americans cost the most.

The Man who came into the room paid money to kill the main character...
It was his first time killing someone...so he was kinda nervous, and excited. he wanted to TOY with his capture.
he paid to kill an American...
When the Main Character started speaking German...because he recognized that the killer was German..., (As he was a college student, and could speak German) ...this upset the man (killer), as he paid alot more money to kill an American.
He went out to get a guard to complain that he was cheated out of his money.
So then the American guy, who could also speak German...escaped by killing both the Man and the Guard.

Can You pay money to kill someone like in the movie hostel?

The movie is based on an actual place in China or Thailand... I can't remember. So yes, you can. With enough money you can do anything, pretty much.

What's it like to live in a Hostel?

I lived at a hostel. People who live at the hostel generally also work at the hostel. A hostel isn't a residence. If it were, all the locals who are on budget would rent a bed and the purpose of hostels would be defeated. Hostels are mean't for backpackers and travelers. It isn't a permanent residence.Pros: Living in a hostel is pretty awesome. The best part, like Michael said, is the social aspect. You get to meet a people from all walks of life and have spontaneous adventures. Adventures you'll remember for life. It's very social. So you won't be kicking yourself in the ass to get up and go to the pubs just to meet people, there are always people to meet at the hostel. (You'll be going to the pub with hostel guests anyways). You will meet friends from all over the world, and you will stay connected through Facebook and what not.Cons: The downside is that there's constantly new people. This was a pro, but it can get old. Once you lived in a hostel for over half a year, you get tired of guests/same ol' people. It can be a drag, and you might find that you will try to get out of the hostel as much as you can to avoid these people.Another con is that people come and go. Relationships (both friend and romantic) are not static. You can meet an amazing lover, and she has to leave the country in 3 weeks. Friends come and go quick. There isn't much long term friendship/relationships because hostels are meant for travelers and backpackers. They are always on the move. They gotta go home. Also, you won't have a choice of who you live with. You get a lot of cool awesome people. Occasionally you'll get a creeper. A weirdo. A person who sticks. It's hard to control who comes into the hostel. The in-between: You gotta share everything. You might hear your neighbors snore. I don't mind. You shouldn't if you stay at a hostel. There's barely any privacy. You'll need to be creative when it comes to needing a little privacy.

What do you like the most about the experience of living in a hostel? What do you dislike the most about it?

What I like the most?::We can make new friends and new people from different places. We can do parties, movie night and lot of activities. You can find cultural diversity and different languagesSharing and learning about concepts and acquire knowledge.Develops mutual cooperationWe can know how to lead a life in disciplined wayIt saves traveling time and expenses. What I dislike about hostel? ::Sleeping late can hamper concentration in class on next dayInfluence of bad habits like smoking, alcohol drinking etcLiving conditions are less comfortable than home

Did you find the movie "Hostel" to be rather disturbing?

No. I haven't seen it. The movie is rated R for brutal scenes of torture and violence, strong sexual content, language, and drug use. Due to the graphic nature of this film, its showing has been restricted in certain countries, primarily those with strict censorship policies. Quentin Tarantino co-produced it. No, the story is based on backpackers staying in a hostel. The film was set in
Slovakia but filmed in the Czech republic and provoked a strong reaction in Slovakia.
