Which is a better wedding gift to the bride?
My english tutor for 7 years is getting married next Sunday and my mom and I are in an argument for what to get her. My mom insists that a small set of plates and cups from Victorias Basement are perfect but I think a pair of swarvoski earrings or necklace is better. She says that its custom for newlyweds to receive plates but I know that my tutor enjoys accessories and fashion. My mom keeps telling me that it s not right to gift earrings to a bride-to-be but its been over thirty years since her own wedding and especially because she got married to fit south korean culture, not Australian. What do you think? Do you have any better gift ideas?

Hey guys. I'm ordering a gift for my girlfriend, and its from Sephora. Tom Ford, Black Orchid perfume. I want them to gift wrap the box but i'm not sure which would look better. Should I just get the standard box for free, and wrap it myself? Should I get the gift satchel for 2 dollars, or the gift box for 4? I dont know which a girl might appreciate more, so I thought I would ask for someone's opinion. Preferably a ladies point of view. Thanks.

It is very close call depending on what price range you want to buy, what size you want and where in the world are you livingInvicta pro diver is go to watch series for watch lovers who want to spend in range of $ 25–120 to get Rolex design (blatantly stolen and Rolex has sued them in the past for few things). Most diver watches come with Quartz movements (usually PC32 which is around $5–8 engine), however mechanical movement one has nice specification (Namely 8926OB, this particular model also has shockingly large amount of mods available). Thing to note here is: 8926 also has a SEIKO 24 jewel mechanism but I’m probably forgetting that so..So first thing to ask is what is your spending range, if close to $ 60 try to get your hands on 8926OB mechanical or Quartz version during sale, this is 40mm dial size so suitable for medium to large wrists, if want smaller (37mm) go for 8932 one which is around $ 30–50Second thing to ask is where do you live, Invicta has its service center only in US, so watches selling outside US have to be shipped to there with cheque to re-shipping, and that can be as good as buying new Invicta and sometimes more for people outside of US.Do not buy any odd designs or better just don’t go for anything that is not listed under Diver series from Invicta, they just get worse and sometimes costlier. Note, these are not real diver watches, good for swimming pool but don’t use it for diving for more than 50 meters. Standards for these things are little in gray area in watch industry so better to look it up specifically if you want specific job done with watch.Fossil is simply not competition of Invicta, even though it does beat Invicta on price front and originality (relative), however very little data is made available about what they use under the hood, it is possibly subpar compared to Invicta and if you’re going to spend that much anyway better go for good stuff.Most sensible choice if you have budget is to go for Seiko range, which is just slightly above Invicta in price range but is well respected in watch loving community as it is genuine good stuff.Verdict: Don’t even look at Fossil as it is more of a gamble and is not really respected brand in watch community, don’t look at Invicta if can spend more than $ 70–80 and don’t want cheap knockoffs of Rolex or live outside of US. Simply go for SeikoI personally own all three brands mentioned above.
