How good is Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (SKCET) for MBA program?
I had heard from my seniors , who had persude MBA here at SKCET , that though the classes are like in any other college around , the faculties are quite helpful in guiding a student to his best and moreover , you get very good placements here ….
Is my cut off (150) enough to get into Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology through a management quota?
I think yes…As I was a passed out from skcet I wanna share few things..One thing I can assure you that you won't regret it later once you join here even if u pay higher.. Its really worth it. . It taught me values.. My personality got moulded to infinity level in those four years.. I don't know what I learnt there but now I have guts and strength to tackle everything in life.. You don't even wanna worry about placements.. You will be provided training from top trainers they would make your worst days too interesting.. Sports, culturals, everything you want is here.. If u have no issues about spending money, this is the best place for u.. Am missing it!!
How good is Sri Krishna Engineer College, Coimbatore?
Krishna was started in the year 1998 and grew at a very fast pace to reach as one of the top 5 collages in Coimbatore beltPro’s.Excellent library, u want something, ull find it or at least its cousin.Fantastic building, lawn, views, of course u dont go for that, but it ll set your mood, you will feel good.Decent to good laboratories, Mechaical labs we satisfactory, unless you end up in CIT or PSG, krishna labs are better.Good connectivity, you want to be a day scholar ot rent a room privately, the surrounding area supports affordably.Important aspects, would like to beancj mark against CIT (I studied diploma in CIT)Learning - krishna -6/10 , CIT -8/10Placement - krishna -6.5/10 , CIT -8/10connectivity - krishna -7/10 , CIT -9/10Fees -krishna -4/10 , CIT -9.5/10Infrastructure - krishna -7/10 , CIT -9/10Atmosphere - krishna -8.5/10 , CIT -7.5/10Culture - krishna -9/10 , CIT -6.5/10 (at least for my set 2008–2012 mechanical)Global and individual Exposure - krishna -8/10 , CIT -8/10Cons:Fees, you will pay close to 1 L per annum fees and on top of that hostel feesThe teaching facility is average, PSG and CIT have some of the best minds in CoimbatoreCore placements are low, software placements are at par with CIT n PSG (not comparing CTC)Hope it helps.I was a self centric, egoistic, fat boy when i graduated from CIT, I’m now just a self centric, egoistic man .Cheers.Boja

SKCET aka Sri Krishna is one of the reputed colleges in Coimbatore for it’s infrastructure, location, cultural upbringing and a good campus atmosphere. Writing about my alma mater always brings me joy.Perks of Studying in SKCET:Exposure: Unlike other colleges in Coimbatore, Erode and Pollachi where only natives of Kongu Nadu enrol in majority, SKCET has a mix of students all over TN and some parts of Kerala. It will help you in getting to know various minds and improve your exposure level.Campus: Serene Beauty during monsoons and one of the best kept lawns in the city. The walk from library to Classrooms is where most romance happens.Education: Excellent lab facilities for all departments. The classes and labs are closely located and you will have easy access to those facilities.Infrastructure: State of Art Auditorium, A fine looking Food Court, One of the best libraries, Health Centres in the Campus, ATMs and studio type class rooms.Management to Student Issues: Unlike Chennai Colleges, the management in SKCET is practical and respectful to you, your parents and to your degree but they except the above from the students as well.Sports: The cricket team is excellent, you have football, volley ball and shuttle courts. Generally they are not on par with top colleges but have a satisfactory infrastructure.Clubs: They have good hackathon events, terrific symposiums and excellent motor sporting clubs SAEINDIA SKCET for Mechanical Students.Hostel: The hostel is spacious, well kept and relatively safe for Men and Women. The food is terrible though.Downside of Studying in SKCET:Economical Disadvantages: With the opening of multiple facilities the fees and day to day expenses has been much higher than the conservative colleges.Peer Pressures: Most often than not, you will find rich kids flaunting all their dad’s wealth which will make you feel a bit out of place.Bad Circle: You might get into a habit of cigars, boozing and smoking weed if you are not in a correct circle. The availability of weed is so common in Kovaipudur areas.Protocols bypassed: In recent times, the management is too protective towards students which makes them comfortable inside the campus but the same bunch of people will struggle outside.RegardsR3

Yes mobile phones are allowed in Sri Krishna Institutions which includes Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Sri Krishna College of Technology, Sri Krishna Arts and Science, VLB Janakiammal College of Arts and Science, Sri Krishna Aadhitya College of Arts and Science and Sri Krishna College of Management.First of all I am a passed out student of the sister institution of Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology i.e. Sri Krishna College of Technology, Batch of 2013–2017.Eventhough the institution does mention that when one joins as a newbie he/she must not use phones in the campus, i haven’t seen the rule in practice.But then you will have tough time getting your phone back after getting caught using phone while classes are going on and in a exam-hall.Use phones when necessary and live your real life instead of wasting innumerable hours in Instagram and Facebook snd start using Quora effectively.Thanks for reading! :)
How are placements in Sri Krishna college of Technology?
According to placements in skcet, if you are very strong in coding definitely you will a get a job with high package . As the core companies of EEE, ECE would not offer high package you can get placed with lower package in those companies (those who are not interested in coding) . Management is doing their best if u work hard you can get your best.
Is Sri Krishna College of Technology better than Kumaraguru College of Technology in Coimbatore?
Hey,Greetings.I wont suggest one particular college out of these choices because each has its own advantages and disadvantages. If you are passionate about food and stuff I wont strongly recommend SKCET. If you wish food as a part and life to be beautiful and enjoyable, both colleges have scopes. Also in addition KCT is well known for many prospectives other than studies like cocurricular, national level events and projects, self development areas, 38 clubs and few forums.First let me know on what kind of college life you are willing to take up on and then I will give a clear cut answer. I would recommend KCT for its quality and recognition it has gained in all these years.Have a good time :)
Which is better for a B.Tech between SRI Krishna College of Engineering and PSG Technology?
I guess u are dilemma minded of whether to choose engineering or any of your desired degree...is bcoz,the PSG always well known for its syllabus and placements whole around. Tamilnadu,and if u aren't aware of that unfortunately u come under the category of being an dilemma minded engineer..Coming to the point I don't know why u compare PSG(litreally PSG tech at peelamedu, not the new PSG in neelambur) with Sri Krishna I think some would've over minded you that the placements of Krishna has over leaded PSG,and soo this will never be happening for atleast next 5–8 years according to my perspective knowledge bcoz Krishna has always been over leaded other colleges in the respective means of mass recruitment by popular IT companies on comparison with other colleges in cbe..but the overall placement percentage will never meant to be that the clg has better placements..coming to PSG maybe the students are not much placed as like krishna but the students are well placed in much much better companies like PayPal, citi bank etc., which doesn't even comes to more than 3 colleges in cbe..My point is that if u want to get placed in some good companies irrespective of your core u can choose Sri krishna..But,if u desire to make yourself placed in very brand organizations related to your core(ECE,EEE,Mech,etc) then choose PSG..Wisely think before choosing and consult seniors if had an chance!!
