Arrested Development?
It seems like that ship has sailed for Arrested Development. I seem to remember people protesting the possibility of the show being dropped, so they kept it on for another season The Family Guy situation is different- Fox didn't bring the show back until they saw how well it was doing on Cartoon Network. I think it would be easier to bring back a cartoon than one with actual people in it. Sad to say, I don't think that show will ever be back, except for in our hearts.... sniffle...
Hard question to answer.Community is over, frankly speaking. It's not coming back. Dan Harmon brought it to television and it was one of my favorite shows for a while. The first three seasons had some of the best comedic 30 minutes ever to grace television. The Paintball episodes and Remedial Chaos Theory stand out. Towards the end, the show declined in quality. I wouldn't blame the writing. In my opinion, the actors leaving the show was the reason it got a bit boring and dull. What made Community one of the best shows on television was its dynamic and well-written characters.Arrested Development was on hiatus for quite some time. It's a good show and it promises a lot and I hope it will do well in the future. For now, it's going great. Hilarious and promising. I believe it will surpass Community sometime in the near future.
It's really surprising to see how many people here find Friends better than Arrested Development. As far as my views go, they don't even compare. Friends can't come anywhere near to Arrested Development in even ten more equally wonderful seasons.Friends never gets old, but AD gets better every time you watch it. There are literally tons of hidden jokes that you can't get after just watching it once (or even twice).While Friends is more often than not a bit predictive, Arrested Development is incredibly well-planned and still surprising. You can find many hints being dropped off in earlier episodes (sometimes, even seasons) as to what is going to happen, and still you're shocked to the core with some of its turn of events.Friends is quite intelligent, but it doesn't compare to AD, which is dense and riddled with intricate gags. Time and again, you find something incredibly funny in the prints or in the background. Paying attention in AD never hurts.One of the most important aspects of Friends is the characters. But, when it comes to AD, the characters, though all of them being the biggest bunch of losers, are literally too definitive and awesome. Even the side characters are equally great. While Friends have Gunther, Jack Geller, Estelle, it is really hard to beat the likes of Barry Zuckerkorn, Annyong, Kitty, and STEVE HOLT. Surprisingly, Friends falls miles short even in its most defining characteristic.I could go on and on, but summing up I'd say: it's not that Friends is bad (not at all) but comparing it to AD ("that's like comparing apples and some fruit nobody's ever heard of") is not fair because AD goes down in history with something a very few series can even come close to.
Who is your favorite ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT character?
It's so hard to choose a favorite among the fabulous characters this show has, but it would definitely either be Gob, Tobias or George Michael. I love their personalities and their little quirks, this show as great character development, they are just so damn funny...
Question about Arrested Development?
I have heard that Arrested Development is on par with shows like It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Curb your Enthusiasm, and because of that I forced myself to watch 3 episodes before giving up. I get when it's supposed to be funny and there have even been a few times when I think to myself that stuff is funny, but nothing has even made me chuckle. Could somebody please explain why this show is so seemingly well liked by everybody?

I just found this show too! gosh its amazing! No...I never though Tobias hated George Michael, I think the first time he kicked him out it was because he wanted to have just his family perform, so he could fix things with Lindsay. The second time he was with G.O.B's wife who loved him and Tobias wanted to revel in that As for Michael, I really don't know, but I hope not because I think it would ruin his character on some level...depends on how they do it.
Why was 'Arrested Development' canceled on fox?

Arrested Development, which began on FOX before Netflix revived it, hasn't been renewed for Season 6 yet, but that doesn't really mean much. Arrested Development has been on it's own schedule since FOX canceled it after three seasons. Netflix brought it back with Season 4 in 2013, but it seemed like that was the end of the road for the series -- until Netflix announced the comedy was returning for Season 5 this year. That being said, there are a number of things that could prevent another season from being made, the biggest being the sexual harassment allegations made against Jeffrey Tambor, who plays the shows patriarch, George Bluth Sr.Two of Tambor's Transparent costars, Van Barnes and Tracy Lysette, made allegations against Tambor that first led to an investigation and then, ultimately, Tambor being dismissed from the series. Despite this, plans for Arrested Development Season 5 continued since the season was already filmed. But, what was most unexpected was that Tambor went on to do press for the series, which led to a New York Times article that now has many fans calling for the show's cancellation -- or to at least get rid of Tambor.
Should Fox cancel the Arrested Development tv show?
ABSOLUTELY NOT! It has to be the most UNDER-rated show (great with critics and the fans who watch)...but as for the rest of the viewing public, they'd rather watch crappy reality shows like Dancing w/the Stars and Skating w/Celebrities. It has the best ensemble cast...I can't imagine anyone else playing those roles. It has the best writing--so many witty references to pop culture; current headlines; and historical events. There's NEVER been one single episode where I haven't laughed out loud! That said, it looks imminent that Fox will cancel, but if Showtime picks it up, I will have to subscribe just so I can catch the show!
If u got arrested what would your friends think you did?
They would think i caused a ten car pile up assaulted some one fled from a scene of a accident and cause property damage.
