Which Is Higher In Singing- A C6 Or A D6

I'd like to become a male soprano-I can sing very high (C6~D6 in my whistle range) What vocal techniques/exercises can I use to sing with fuller tone?

I would focus on the shape of your mouth. A full tone would require a lot of space inside the mouth- tall space in the back of the mouth. Pretend there is an invisible egg lodged inside your mouth. Make space for it- now sing. Your tone should be noticeably fuller.Record yourself singing and try different mouth shapes, especially when singing vowels. What did you do to get that sound that you especially like? Write it down. And there you have it! I hope this was helpful. Best of luck to you!

If a tenor is using his mixed voice up to C6 and possibly ever higher (I think it would be REALLY crazy if anyone did anything above D6) is he still being considered a tenor or a male soprano?

It would depend on where his voice naturally sits - if his tessitura (most comfortable range) sits in the tenor range, then he is a tenor. If his natural voice is more akin to a woman’s (which is rare), then he may be a ‘male soprano.’Also, it’s worth keeping in mind that the term ‘male soprano’ doesn’t always refer to voice type — the terminology for a voice that sits that high is ‘countertenor.’ ‘Male soprano’ is often used in choirs to refer to a male singer, of potentially any voice type, to sing soprano parts.

What is my voice type? My vocal range is B3-D6. Is it bad for singing?

Wow! Good range!I take it you’re a girl!I think you’re an alto (guessing that your D6 is head-voice)Practise, and you’ll be going deeper down, and higher up the scale. You can easily extend two-three notes of your range!Adele’s a contralto, and look where she is! You just have to find a style that you love, and try to produce as beautiful a sound as you can.I’m far from a vocal expert, but I know a bit of this and that. So, giving my two cents! :)Good luck! God bless your soul!EDIT: Oops, you’re a guy!WOWWWWWWWW. That’s a solid range! Tenor? I think! Good going, brother! I can only dream of hitting D6 in falsetto!Praise God for it! You’ve got a gift from Him!Ed Sheeran, Charlie Puth, Shawn Mendes, Bruno Mars, etc. all sing somewhere in that range.Other, lesser known ones are Joe, Brian McKnight, The Weeknd, James Arthur, etc.

Is it possible to be able to sing a C6 but be considered a mezzo soprano?

Sure, you can even be able to sing a C6 and be considered a contralto.Voice types are more about where the voice changes register, the weight of the voice, and where the voice is most comfortable, than about absolute range. Here’s Ewa Podles, a contralto, singing up to a D6:Here’s Cecilia Bartoli, a mezzosoprano, singing up to an F#6:And here’s a whole bunch of examples of mezzos and contraltos singing notes C6 and above.:

Is E3 C6 (with a D6 to A6 whistle tone) a good vocal range for a female teenager?

An untrained full range of E3 to C6 is just fine. Supported range for someone trained, it’s very reasonable. (Whistle range is not counted as supported range.)E3 to C6 is 2 octaves, four notes, and a semitone. The quality of that range is what matters. If your lower notes are too much fry and not supported, and your upper notes are too airy and not supported, your useful range is less than your full range of notes you can hit in some fashion. As you age, you may find yourself hitting higher or lower notes, as even females don’t fully mature vocally in the teenage years. The range you have will let you comfortably sing a lot of pop music done by sopranos; some songs by mezzo-soprano range you may have trouble with the lower notes, depending on how solid your E3 is, i.e. you can fry the lower ones but it’s not good to sing things out of your range too often.I wouldn’t whistle (meaning sing in a whistle register, not literally just whistle) too much unless you’ve had training, airiness isn’t good for your voice.

My vocal register is f3 to high d6/ D#6 what would i be?

Your vocal range from F3 to D6 spans two octaves and five notes.

Your voice type could be a mezzo-soprano. However, your comfortable singing range generally determines your voice type. As such,

You are a soprano if you can sing comfortably from C5 to C6.
You are a mezzo-soprano if you can sing comfortably from A4 to A5

Your question: Are 2 octaves and 5 notes good? Lol sorry this is new to me

Answer: Having a vocal range of two octaves and five notes is about average, provided that with minimal warming-up of your voice you are able to sing F3 and D6 at any time and that F3 and D6 are never hit-or-miss notes.

What is my vocal range, C2-D6?

There is not enough information placed as your voice covers all ranges from a Bass’s C2 to a Soprano’s D6. 4 octaves and 1 note, a very good range, similar to Billy Joel, George Michael or Brendon Urie, so try singing along to them.

Why do I have so much falsetto if I'm a baritone? My chest range is from E2 to F4 but in falsetto I can go up to D6. I've only had 4 singing lessons.

Falsetto is the easiest of all the voice qualities to achieve because it requires the least amount of effort. In falsetto, the vocal folds are raised at the back by the arytenoid cartilages and are stretched and stiffened.  This action allows you to sing even higher. I would say that baritones generally have a good falsetto range because they have more vocal fold mass to work with.
