Which Is The Best Automated Solution For

What is the best automated, incremental backup solution for Linux that does not require a GUI?

I'd second Rahul with the rsync+cron option and would recommend to look for tutorials making use of hard linking (sorry can't find the reference one in my bookmarks). On the other hand, I'd recommend solutions (based on rsync or rsync algorythm for most of them) that are really incremental backup solutions like Dirvish, rsnapshot or rdiff-backup.As far as I'm concerned, my choice is rdiff-backup which I ended up using with the excellent backupninja. I now only waiting for a web interface and for ArchFS project to mature (but in the meantime you can export the snapshots through NFS or samba for easy drag and drop restore)Edit: ArchFS project has been renamed rdiff-backup-fs and is now hosted here http://code.google.com/p/rdiff-b... and shows active development !

What’s the best 3rd-party solution for automated testing as of today?

This is an extremely general question that has no single answer. I wish there was an answer, but I also wish I was still young and pretty :). Honestly, it really depends on what you're trying to test, the platform, the environment, the level of testing (unit, integration, system, continuous integration etc) and the sophistication of the testers you're implementing this system for. I'd be happy to give recommendations, but a little more information is required to give a reasonable suggestion.

What is the best solution for an automated web scraping solution?

You're not crazy, dude! But it sounds like our -- Diffbot's -- SEO could use some help so that we're easier to find.(I head up Product at Diffbot and I imagine this is why I was asked to answer this question.)If you don't want to create and manage rules for extraction, Diffbot offers a Product API that automatically extracts product data from any e-commerce site/page/template. This sounds like exactly what you're looking for, and as far as I know it is the only known such product extractor that works automatically -- no setup needed. You can take it for a test drive by plugging in one of your distributor's URLs in at http://www.diffbot.com/testdrive.The Diffbot approach is unique in that it relies on computer-vision techniques (and an extremely robust machine-learning-based back-end) to automatically identify products from non-product pages, and then to analyze and extract all of the data from product pages: no rules or setup or site-specific tailing are required since the Product API looks at web pages just like humans do.In the case of the Product API, this includes all price data (actual, original price, discount amount, etc.), product IDs like the SKU or UPC, brand, product images, descriptions, specifications tables, etc. Diffbot's renderer fully executes on-page Javascript for those sites that present additional data on page-load or via Ajax request.Diffbot also has a full-fledged crawler -- see Crawlbot at Web Site Crawling and Extraction --  that can be used to apply the Product API to entire sites. Crawlbot can be set-up to repeat-crawl at regular intervals, to only extract new items on these repeat rounds, etc. It's very flexible. You can also use our Bulk API to reprocess pages on a regular basis and check for price changes.

Complete home automation?

Most of the systems out there that will do what your wanting to do are available only through dealers.
Most of them also will require a programmer. It depends on how much you want automated, and what you want to spend.

The best system out there still is from Crestron, its not cheap it will automate everything. Requires a certified Crestron programmer.

Elan makes a pretty good system, again requires a programmer, a little less costly then Crestron and not as cool and as sophisticated, as Crestron.

For some features like lighting Elan and Crestron still will require additional manufactures products. For lighting Lutron is still the best lighting control and both Crestron and Elan can control Lutron lighting control systems. Crestron apparently has there own lighting control system now don't know how good it really is everyone I know doing hi-end system lighting is still using Lutron lighting.

The new kid on the block is pretty inexpensive and isn't bad is from control 4. Now it wont do everything but for most people its pretty good. Doesn't require any real programming so you can just add each piece as you go and looks and operates pretty good.

Very important to purchase from authorized dealer, someone that has been around for a while, and has years of experience doing these system. Go to one dealer that can do the whole system correctly do not try and piece meal it together as you will run into issues and everyone will be pointing fingers at the other. These are elaborate systems and need one dealer to make sure the system comes together professionally.

As for Audio Video system again only buy from a good hi-end dealer they have much better equipment to choose from and have the knowledge to make sure everything works well together, and sounds good in your room.

Good luck, any questions feel free to ask

What are the best home automation systems available in India?

Crestron is excellent if budget is of not any problem for you. Crestron is of mainly wired but programming and installing Crestron products can be hectic. Because they are not totally programming friendly. I don't know much about Crestron because I haven't got a chance to work for it. Control4 is the next best thing after Crestron. It's mostly a wired automation but still totally worth it. It's communication is mostly based on IR. It's new panelizied lighting feature works on Zigbee protocol. BITCINO is also a nice company, providing different varieties. If you have a low budget then you should go for this. No doubt you will be completely satisfied for what you have paid. Bticino works on KNX and Zigbee protocol. In case, Your house Interior is done and you didn't make provisions for home automation then don't worry,  FIBARIO  comes handy here. It's completely wireless and you don't have go through any kind of renovation. FIBARIO works on Z-wave and Zigbee protocol. The service provided by them is really good and it easily fits in your budget. I would recommend you to go for Control4. Their UI smooth and elegant. Their programming is also easy, even you can try experimenting different things. The post sale service is also good.
