Where can I buy things at a reasonable price to furnish my small apartment at Koramangala, Bangalore?

I am an MBA. I was hired on campus by a multi national company. I was posted in Bangalore. I started working a month ago. This is my first job.

I have rented a small two bed room apartment near Koramangla. Now I need to furnish my house and buy other household items.

Should I seek the help of an interior decorator who can do the entire job for me? (I have a small budget. Besides, the furniture and other household goods I buy should not cram the place.)

Or, should I buy the things myself? If so, are there any shops near Koramangla where I can buy good quality furniture and other household items at a reasonable price.

Thanks for your suggestions.

How do I choose for my MBA program? What are best affordable universities in any country?

I suggest Italy , Poland, Lathvia etc would be cost effective with good standard of Higher[1]education. There the living cost is less asbsame as Bangalore, Mumbai , Chennai etc. Almost Rs.12000 to 30,000 per month. Total fees isbranging Rs.1.5 Lakhs to 8 Lakhs in good Colleges. And you will get **shrunken**visa so that you may go throughout Europe and can settle in any country except UK with very easy visa formalities.Footnotes[1] Campus Hunt- India's Next Generation Higher Studies PortalNote : its schengen visa not shrunken…opz mistake

Is latvia a good country to do MSc.?

I currently study in MBA at Riga Business school. The total cost of the studies for the program is around 5000 LVL, it also offers a business IT specialization (though it's more like IT for managers). The quality is actually very good there, newest books and case studies from Harvard and the overall knowledge level and motivation of students is good. The diploma is signed by the heads of RTU (Latvia), Buffalo university (USA) and Ottawa university (Canada). I can really recommend.

If you're looking forward to deepening your IT skills there's also RTU, which is the best place to do IT studies in Latvia. The tuition should be quite the same and I know a few foreigners who do full time studies and are generally satisfied.

Regarding part time jobs, there's a certain deficit of knowledgeable IT people in Latvia, thus also good companies are ready to pay reasonable salaries for Latvian standards (600-1000 Lats), if the skills are ok. On the other hand IT is often something that you can eventually do from home, so then you can eventually work also for a foreign company, get a "Western salary" and have the fairly low cost of living of Latvia.

If you are looking at jobs in other areas of "whatever" kind, then the situation is more difficult. Salaries are low (approx. 300-500 LVL) and considering an unemployment rate of ca. 14% it's not always easy to get a job, especially if you don't speak Latvian and Russian, which would probably not learn anyways.
