Which Is The Best Food For 7month Baby While In Cold

CAN I FEED MY 9 MONTH OLD BABY CHICKEN BROTH?

Try to get the no/or low sodium kind, heat it enough to were he would be able to eat it, you can give it to him by spoon (I used a bigger spoon so the fluid made it into the mouth) or maybe a bottle. The best kind to get is no sodium organic brand.

Best thing is just try to keep the fluids going as much as possible...I am going through a baby with a very bad cold right now...and all she is wanting is her formula/water/juice and a little bit of crackers & cheerios...I have tried other solids but she is having issues with the mucus running into her throat. I did try the Chicken Broth, she tried some, but decided she didn't like it.
Humidifier/baby tylenol for fevers/ lots of fluids and plenty of rest for your lil one is really what you can do for him right now....I hope that helps a bit. Good Luck

*** ALSO~~ don't worry so much about getting solids in right now...its normal not to eat anything with a cold...just remember fluids fluids fluids. And maybe some pedilyte just in case.

Is it safe to feed prosciutto to my 9 month old baby?

I'd wait a while before feeding him prosciutto as it is pretty salty and his little kidneys may find it hard to deal with. Wait until he is 24 months.

EDIT - I'm afraid that the other poster is mistaken. Prosciutto is not cured with nitrates.

Can I give sweet lime juice for my 7-month-old baby?

I’ve had all my children try sucking on lemon or lime at some point in infancy (mostly for kicks because they make the most adorable pucker faces), but i am not sure what you mean by sweet lime juice. Are you referring to a sort of sweet limeade? Unless you are referring to some medicinal remedy of sorts (can't really think of a reason for this combination though), it may not be a gopd idea.Your 7-month-old baby is more than likely ready for solids and tiny bits of natural sweetners such as raw sugar in baby cereal or small amounts of agave on strawberries that may be a bit sour (so I don't agree with the previous comment fully). However, try to stick to more natural and simple foods with low sugar content and avoid acidic fruits until you get baby's tummy used to solids.

Home remedies for baby who has a cold?

Hi aww poor baby no i don't think that teething cause this, there are a lot of colds around at the minute my 4 month old DD is one of them
No medicine will make a virus go away faster, but you can help your baby feel better and prevent the infection from getting worse by making sure he gets plenty of rest and liquids. For babies under 4 months, that means breast milk or formula. At 4 months your baby can also have a little water, and at 6 months he can start drinking juices.

Since most children can't master nose blowing until about age 4, here are a few ways to help ease your baby's congestion.

• Tip your baby's head back and squeeze over-the-counter saline (salt water) drops into his nostrils to loosen up the mucus. Then suction out the liquid and mucus a few minutes later with a rubber bulb syringe. If your baby is having trouble nursing with a stuffy nose, try this tactic about 15 minutes before a feeding. He'll then be able to breathe and suck at the same time. Apply petroleum jelly to the outside of your baby's nostrils to reduce irritation. (Don't use nasal sprays on your baby unless his doctor says it's okay. They may work temporarily but can cause a rebound effect in which the congestion gets worse with continued use.)

• Use a humidifier or a cool-mist vaporizer to moisten the air in your baby's room. Or take your baby into the bathroom with you, turn on the hot water, close the door, and sit in the steamy room for about 15 minutes. A warm bath can accomplish the same thing.

• Elevate the head of your baby's mattress by placing a couple of towels between the head of the mattress and the crib springs. Sleeping at a slight incline may help relieve his postnasal drip, but don't overdo it. If your baby is a restless sleeper, he could end up flipping around so his feet are higher than his head, defeating the purpose of the elevation. (Never use pillows to prop up your baby as they could suffocate him. And don't put anything under the legs of the crib because that could make it unstable.) You might even consider letting your baby snooze in his car seat in a semi-upright position.

Hope this helps

How do you heat up baby bullet food?

It isn't a good idea to use the microwave because it kills all the nutrients in the food that your baby needs. Why don't you steam carrots or broccoli or whatever other veggie you want to give her then put it in the baby bullet while its still hot, mash it, then feed it to her? I also have the baby bullet and that's what I plan on doing when I want to give him warm food. Once again, DONT use the microwave.

Is coconut water good for a cold and cough for a 1-year-old baby?

No. Coconut water has a great electrolyte content and is awesome, but not during cold & cough. That said, coconut water is nature’s gatorade, without the salt, sugars, colors, stabilizers & artificial taste.Colds and the flu are caused by viruses, so stay away from antibiotics as a first step. Antibiotics don’t work on viruses! Some home remedies that may work are:Warm homemade vegetable broth or chicken brothWarm honey with a few drops of fresh holy basil (tulsi) juice and fresh ginger juice to relieve the throat discomfort and improve immunity. You many also add some turmeric (haldi) for benefits of curcumin.Use Curcumin or haldi. This is a powerful antioxidant that lowers the levels of two enzymes that cause inflammation. There is evidence that curcumin fights the cold virus in the test tube. Further, it supports the immune system. Add to food.Nasal congestion can be relieved with a few drops (1 or 2) of eucalyptus oil + coconut oil application on the chest.Coconut oil has anti bacterial and antiviral properties, use it as a cooking medium.Use fermented foods in small quantities. Kefir, yoghurt and sauerkraut are some homemade options.Use steam. Steam will not shorten the length of the cold, but it will reduce the inflammation in the nasal passages and help the infant breathe better.Keep the child comfortable in warm surroundings. Sleeping may be tough because of nose and throat congestion. Use an inclined bedding, raised at the head to help sleep better.thanks for reading,Anupama.About me: I am Co-founder & Blogger at Recover your Health | Health Tips on Nutrition & Supplements | VitSuppIf you like what I write do read my blog. Some of my other answers:Anupama's answer to Which is healthier: chicken, mutton or seafood?Anupama's answer to Will quitting rice help in losing belly fat?Anupama's answer to Is it healthy to eat chapati every day?If you like to get the most relevant health news, health recommendations, and actions you can take on health issues you are invited to join MY FACEBOOK GROUP :)

Is it ok to give my almost 7 month old Popsicle's?

as long as you keep a close eye on him, I don't see why not. I would make my own and I plan to in the summer. I'm thinking about pureeing some fruits and freezing it in a tray with sticks in it. I think it's healthier that way and I love to make her own food.

Is warm milk better than cold milk when feeding a baby?

Warm milk is usually easier on a younger baby - and by warm I mean room temperature. However, cold milk (not freezing cold but just cool) won't hurt baby and is equally beneficial as far as nutrients. Some babies are not comfortable with cold milk at first - and will prefer that warmer temperature, much like milk that would come straight from the breast.  But they can still get used to the cooler milk. In cooler climates they may prefer warmer milk than in hotter climates. My baby loved cold milk by the time he was 14 months old - and would ask for it straight from the fridge.  In general, you gradually get your baby used to certain sensations such as hot, cold, and frozen, by touch and taste. Tips on warming milk.Simply run the body of the bottle under warm water in the sink for a minute or two. Then let it sit for about 5-10 minutes. Never heat milk in the microwave - because you could easily burn your baby's sensitive mouth not realizing the uneven inner temperatures of the milk.
