Any profession that you follow with your heart and are passionate about is the best profession .But on the other hand by best profession if you mean top paid professions then it's a different ball game all togetherThere may be people who may categorize the best profession according to stress levels long hours good boss good company etc but if you log what you do then those things won't cross your mind.

Since when did lawyers become such larger than life people so as to consider themselves the best? Other professions are equally, or sometimes more demanding in terms of labour, time, innovation, out of the box at). When I was a law student, I was introduced to my maternal grandfather whom I have never met before. He is one of the brilliant minds I have had the honour to meet. He said once to me two things - Very first thing he told me was he still finds 24 hours not sufficient enough for his readings and research for a case, so I had to understand the kind of hard work I am ready to take on, because this is going to go on for the rest of my life. Secondly, legal profession is indeed a very difficult profession. More difficult than sage practising Yoga - A Yogi just has to stand on one feet and chant God's name while a lawyer has to deal with his client, manage the court, deal with opponent lawyer, and lastly most important do his research on the case and prepare it to the best of his ability. And, to this day I find Legal profession a very hard profession indeed. But, the satisfaction of helping someone to get his/her life back on track is soul fulfilling satisfaction! I haven't found any other profession offering me a satisfaction of this level. And, this makes me proud of my profession indeed!

I would probably say the medical profession and within the profession a doctor. Saving lives has to be at the top of the things a person can do and doctors do this often. Nurses may be up there also because they provide the day to day, moment to moment care. Patients can become close to their nurses and may raise them in the highest regard.Teachers used to be held in high regard but the prestige of being a teacher has diminished somewhat over the years.There are plenty of professions that are looked upon highly but segments of the professions can reduce the overall regard. I think about lawyers, military personnel, firefighters/EMS, social workers, and others who do some thankless jobs while others abused their authority.I think every profession has merit. Just think about the jobs no one else want to do. I give then credit because they stepped up when no one else would.

The key difference between Introvert and Extrovert is "interest in meeting with public and ability to speak freely". If you take away these two aspects Speaking & Meeting in large gatherings, an introvert can fit into any profession. In every profession, there are certain roles which are customer or public facing, where an introvert may have little difficulty to enjoy. For example, an Introvert can freely meet a customer of 1, 2, 3 people together. The moment there is a gathering of 5 to 10 people from customer end, an Introvert start feeling nervous. This does not mean an Introvert cannot make a good sales people. It is just that Introvert preference is to deal with small gatherings and not large.Similarly in company internal meetings, an introvert can easily discuss at length in detail with a group of 2 to 5 people. The moment, the team becomes large he will not be able to take initiative to present his/her view points freely. So there is no profession which is not denied for Introvert. Any and Every profession is suitable for Introvert and just that he/she has to make some specific adjustments in their dealing with large gatherings.. (or) just stay away from those gatherings and enjoy the rest of career life.Cheers

Why is teaching considered one of the noblest profession?
because we would not have doctors or scientists or presidents (may be a good thing) or anyone for that matter, no matter what they do, if someone had not patiently taught them how to read/write add/ subtract first. Teaches are the first step to make us better than animals.
