Chicago vs. Boston?
It's a toss-up for me. I love Tom Scholz's guitar work, but I really dig Chicago back when they had the big horn section and Peter Cetera was not the focal point. I will say this, I'll take either one over Kansas any day.

I work in Boston, but used to travel to greater Chicago a lot when I worked in tech. So my perceptions,Owing to the number of universities in Boston/Cambridge, Boston is very intellectual, plus there are a good number of biotech companies, medical research, start ups of all kinds, and so on. Plus GE is moving its headquarters to Boston.Diversity, with respect to LGBT, excellent in Boston, with respect to East Asians and South Asians, good, African-Americans and Hispanics, fair but improving. Just my perception to emphasize that point.Boston is smaller than Chicago, and the size of Boston is a plus for many people.The Museum of Fine Arts (Boston) has a collection that is 50% larger than the Art Institute (Chicago).The music scene in Boston is good, but I suspect Chicago is better.
