What is your Favourite game and why?
Now I am curious about this because everyone likes different games then others. Also helps me find out about new games I have never heard about. Feel free to share any games you like. Don't worry if no one knows about the game or it is bad. Just share! This will help me decide what games I should get.
What was your favourite game as a child?
ORIGINAL QUESTION: What is a favorite game that you used to play as a young child?“ARMY”. When I was a kid, everyone on the block played Army every possible day. This went on for years. Oftentimes in the winter, by the time we got home from school, it was too late. It got dark there early during wintertime. But weekends, even in winter - Army. Spring: Army, right after school. Summer was Army all day every day from sunup to sundown. And the Fall of course, was the perfect time to play Army.Everyone had an impressive array of very realistic-looking “guns”; None of that orange plastic crap like nowadays. I had a 1903 Springfield replica complete with plastic cartridges that would cycle through by working the bolt. From across the room, you couldn’t tell it from a real Springfield. I also had a “Grease-gun” replica that made an impressive “full-auto” sound without batteries.My buddy had a “Tommy-gun” that I so envied! It looked absolutely real and fired paper “caps” on full-auto. Another guy had a “bazooka” and a lot of guys had plastic “grenades”. Some guys even had real surplus “steel-pot” helmets. I never did get one of those.Here’s the weirdest part of all this: During that whole time of years of playing Army every day with pretty much full military gear and very convincing replica weapons, never once did I hear about a school shooting. That just occurred to me as I was writing this. Weird huh?
What is your favorite card game?
Texas Hold 'Em when playing with freinds and Black Jack when playing in a casino.
What was your favorite game to play....?
I grew up a stone's throw from a castle ruin. Me and my friends would play knights, I was the damsel to be saved from the dragon, or the witch who was hunted down and taken to be burnt at the stake. Sometimes I was a knight, too. We made our own lances and swords from wood and had cardboard helmets.
Whats your favourite game of each genre?
Was wondering what each persons favourite game of each genre is, that they have played of course. Heres mine. Action: God of War Series. Adventure: Uncharted Series Action Adventure: Assassin's Creed Series FPS: Crysis 3 3rd-person shooter: Gears of War 3 RPG: Skyrim (what else?) Racing: GT5 Sport: FIFA 13 (don't play much sport) Fighting: Fight Night Champion (I play even less fighting games) Family: I don't play these their just part another genre worth mentioning. Puzzle: Same as family. Music: Same as family and puzzle. Simulation: Same as family and puzzle and music Online: Battlefield 3 I know Action, Action Adventure and Adventure are all pretty similar, but I just had to find a way to get all three of those games in.
What was your favourite game as a child, and why?
DOOMThis game blew my mind when i was a little kid. My uncle brought home a DOS computer when i was like 5 and talked about the histories of computers and such . I didn’t really listen back then because i was too busy scrolling through all the game demos. The Lost Vikings, Duke Nukem 2,Jazz Jackrabbit, etc… But then i saw a single game with a one word title…DOOM. My english wasn’t good back then but i somehow got the message that this wasn’t any old ass game from 90s.. It was THE game from the 90s. So i played it and boy was i blown away by the gore and violence. My uncle didn’t bat an eye because he himself knew DOOM was the shit. I played and replayed the demo day and night, i even remembered all the little secrets and such. The game had quite a good amount of content even for a demo. Ahhhh, i can still remember the epic song E1M1 played whenever i think of Doom.Best video game ever made.
What is the favourite sport of gay?
That doesn't make them gay. Maybe they just love it too much. But just to answer which my favorite Olympic sport is, swimming and gymnastics.
What is your favorite board game?
First, in defence of chess it is a great game and I personally enjoy it and spent a lot of money on a good quality board and pieces. However even if you allowed for chess as an answer, it wouldn't be my favourite and out of the "traditional" games, that honour would fall to the far deeper WeiQi (go). However, assuming that Go is also off the list and you are looking for more modern games, that is a tough call. My most played board game is probably Midnight Party by Ravensburger, partially because that is a game I can play with children or adults and there is depth enough for the adults and simplicity for the children. In terms of favourite game to play, that might be a bit more difficult. In terms of mainstream games, the honour would fall to Risk but when you open the field up a little, then Starfarers of Catan, Carcassonne or Zombies!!! would probably be the three from which I would choose. Honourable mentions should also go to Canyon, Settlers of Catan, Ave Caesar and Betrayal at House on the Hill.
