Which Name Do You Like Best From My Girl List

Which pagan girl's name do you like best?

I love the name Ceridwyn! I used to work for a bath store called LUSH and we had a bath bomb called Ceridwen's Cauldron. We always pronounced it ke-RID-wen. I just looked it up on a baby name website and it lists the pronunciation as ke-RID-wen. Of course, I suppose you can pronounce it however you like. :)

My second favorite is Sarai. I'm familiar with its biblical use. Where does its pagan association come from? Is it because it was the original name of Abraham's wife before she and her husband embraced the Jewish God?

Raelyn and Raelin are pretty, but they sound to me more like modern inventions than classic pagan names. They aren't quite as substantial or exciting as Ceridwyn or Sarai.

Which name do you like best for my car?

Recently bought a BLACK Porsche Macan GTS. The three names I have are: Johanna, Antonia, and Carolina (caro-lee-nuh). Which do you like best, or what else would you recommend?

Which middle name do you like best with the girls’ name Danae?

Danae is pronounced Dah-nay, :)

Please tell me what you think of all 5 choices, which one you like the best, and then give me one or two suggestions of a middle name you think works well with Danae.

Thank you!!!

1. Danae Elliott (I have recently started really liking the name Elliott on a girl, but I think I prefer it as a middle name, at least for right now)
2. Danae Cordelia (My name is Cordelia and I haven’t yet used my name as a middle name on my favorite girls’ name list)
3. Danae Lucille (I recently answered a question with this name in it and thought it sounded good with Danae)
4. Danae Juliana (I recently answered a question with this name in it and thought it sounded good with Danae)
5. Danae Evangeline (I recently started liking the name Evangeline, but I think I prefer it as a middle name, at least for right now)

What are good twin girl names?

You want to consider how the names fit together, first of all. Do they trip off the tongue? Do they sound clumsy? Anne is a fairly normal name and so is Margaret, but ‘Anne and Margaret’ is very difficult to say, and so is ‘Margaret and Anne’.Individually are the names good? Do you like them? Do they make good nicknames? (Don’t call a child Shatteah, for instance, because any nickname for that would not be good.)Do they sound euphemistic? Will pairing them together be problematic in any way? Verity is not a problem on it's own; neither is Dee. ‘Verity and Dee’ works well together, but put the names together without the ‘and’, and they sound like ‘very tidy’.Are they roughly the same length? Do they have a similar number of syllables? Is one traditional and the other very unusual? Are the middle-names equal in number? Are the meanings equally as nice? It is very important between any young siblings to be fair so that neither one is left with a worse deal than the other, especially with twins.Do you have back-up names in case they are boys? (Unusual likelihood of that happening, but it might be worth covering all bases.)Here are some popular names paired with nice names that compliment them (in my opinion; names are very subjective):Isobel and WillowCaitlyn and OliviaPoppy and SophiaAlice and JessicaLily and AvaMillie and DaisyDarcie and ElizabethHolly and RoseThese are just popular names I think sound good together, but there are lots of names out there, so good luck!

Which name do you like best and why? (boy)?

Wow everyone seems to love Brodie which we do too, but im scared its getting too popular...

I happen to really like Jethro but NO ONE else seems to like it...

Sy was his grandfathers name, and graham is my grandfathers last name.. our last name has 3 sylabls, so once the last name is added sy graham flows better..

im not a fan of the name Colt but my bf really likes it...

Which pair of twin girl names do you like better?

Of your two pairs, I prefer Cecily and Carys. While they both start with C, the C's make different sounds, so they don't seem "matchy" at all. Despite Cecily's Victorian popularity, both names have a modern, spunky sort of feel.

I love the name Adelaide -- it's actually my favorite of all those on your list. It's very uncommon, but it's similar enough in sound to the popular Addison, Adeline, and Madeline to sound cute even to those who like trendy names. While Florence IS a nice match because of the city connection, I don't think it would fare as well today. It will sound like an "old lady" name to most people, and, as someone pointed out, it doesn't lend itself to cute nicknames. Flora is probably the best (certainly better than Florie or Flo), but it seems like a completely different name.

I was actually going to suggest Adelaide and Charlotte (it's a pairing on my twin name list), but coolteamblt beat me to it, so I'll just second her suggestion! You might also want to consider Adelaide and Cecily as a match, as Irish Mommy suggested, because of their 19th-century feel. If you like geographical names, you might consider Adelaide and Sicily as a pairing.
