What should be done when you're stuck about what to name your business?

There are multiple ways in how to name your business. The most logical way is always to know more about your business — what is it about, what is your product, what is your service, who is your target market, what are your vision, mission and goals? Apart from that, you should also consider what personality are you trying to portray in your business? Do you want your personal identity to be reflected to your business? These are just some of the questions you should ask yourself in order to have an idea or have ideas in what names to choose. What I usually do when I cannot come up with a name or cannot choose a name, I usually research about words — mostly adjectives, action words, emotions — which are related to what I have considered in the first paragraph. I usually just write immediately what comes to mind. Then I leave them for awhile and check it out the next day. Why the next day? So I can see it with a fresh mind. If you review it right after the tendency is your state of mind is just the same and you would still choose those names. Having a fresh mind allows you a fresh start — there is a high possibility of ditching out a lot of names you have written the day before. If you’re still stuck, then might as well tap a local naming and branding professional. Talk with him/her and lay out all the details about your business. He/she can help you, provided that he/she is already experienced in the field. Moreover, he/she can even guide you on how to go about with your name and how you can introduce it to to your market. Another option would be to check out crowd sourcing websites such as Squadhelp, Fiverr and Toptal.Toptal and Fiverr allows you to contact with freelancers who can solve the problem for you at an agreed price. Squadhelp, on the other hand, allows you to connect with creatives around the globe by letting you host a naming contest — and you will only pay for the winning submission you are going to choose as a winner.Whatever you decide, make sure you don’t stress too much on what to name your business. Remember, naming is only one of the strategies in building up your business and marketing it. Another one — a very important one — is focusing on your product and services and making sure that your customers are satisfied.

What is the best cat name you’ve ever heard?

Won’t say it’s the best name since it’s the name I gave my cat, but I called my black cat Koshka, which means “cat” in Russian (female cat. Word for male cat is Kot). I thought it was kind of fun, as I seriously lacked any imagination and couldn’t find a proper name for her.Everybody think it’s so amazing and exotic. And when I tell them the meaning they like it even more. Actually, I “copied” my mom’s bestfriend: when I was a kid, I was always playing at her place with her kids (same age) and they had a cat, whose name was Katze. I wondered about the name and she once told me that they adopted the cat and couldn’t really decide on the name and kept calling her “the cat”. They are of Swiss-German origin, so they talked German (actually Swiss-German, schwyzerdütsch for the purists ^^), and that translates to “die Katze”. The name stuck :) the cat was finally name Katze. I thought it was just awesome to name a cat “cat”.The story has more to it, but for the basics, that’s it :) I have a cat called cat, and nobody has a clue, everybody think it’s awesome and that I made up a really cool name for her.My other cat is a fluffy Siamese called Siam :)

What is the best name for an orange kitten?

While we can all make suggestions, the best way to pick a name is to try names you like (or that seem to fit), then see if it feels “right”.None of our three cats are called by the names we originally gave them. Our rescue Bengal, Monkey, started out as Samwise Gamgee (aka Sam). Little Man (our 16 lb Ragdoll) went through at least a half dozen names before the final one stuck. Our oldest rescue Bengal, Ben, was at a foster in another state. I knew about him for weeks before I was able to get him. Since I like to know a cat before I name him, I started talking about him as “Benny the Bengal” - sort of a silly placeholder name. Well, “Benny” stuck - at least initially. Ben had a lot of health issues that had us at the vet frequently. One day, she greeted him, “Oh, Benjamin, what have you done NOW,” and the way she said it was hilarious. And so, Benny became formally named Benjamin - although we call him (and he responds to) Ben or Big Ben.Depending upon how orange your kitten is, I think Carrot would be a cute name. Try it - maybe it’ll feel right. ;)

What is a good name for a stuck up snobby rich girl?

Veronica, Sonya, Judy, Tasha or you could stick with more popular names like Ashley because they have a higher chance of being someone snobby the reader can identify with.

Just some names that I familiarize snobby with. It's different for a lot of people though.
