Which Nba Player Would You Compare My Friend Too

How do I stop comparing myself to others? Everyday I compare others around me and think they have better, happier lives than I do. I always think they are smarter and more involved socially.

I think i have a perfect example of why we should not compare ourselves. This is story about three friends including me among them.It began with an awesome picture.Five years BackThere were three friends those were in their 12th standard all want to achieve success in their life.Success in their own opinions. One friend A was excellent in academics who always make fun of Friend B and Friend C because they are not of that level.Friend B(Me) always stay unhappy because of A making fun of them but Friend C never compare him and stay happy(Because he knew academic success is not the only success).Friend A Got really good marks and Got admission in some great NIT engineering college.Friend B got a medium level of college and Friend C didn’t get any college he started his own business.Friend A always thought that he is very smart and success than these two and always laugh at Friend B and C.Current TimeFriend A is working at 25K a month in TCS consultancy. And there are lakhs of employ like him in that company. He still compares himself to Friend B and C but now he felt really sad because he can’t make any fun of them,Friend B is me Abhishek Dhiman I am studying in computer science department o IIT Bombay.I think I not successful but happy that I never make fun of anyone and believe in myself.Friend C was really a champion because he never wastes time in comparing himself and never stop he believe in himself. His business chain is one of the best chains in our area.He earns lakhs in just weeks but he never makes fun of anyone. His thinking was academic Success is not the only success.Lessons from the storyBelieve in yourself you have what it take’s to be a successful person.Never compare yourself to anyone less or more strong, less or more smarter, less or more skilled etc.Because you never know what the future.Academic success is not the only success every parent should understand this point. Please do upvote if you like the answer that would motivate me in writing more.Happy Reading.

Nba 2k my player help please?

What are the stat caps on a scoring point guard? I made a 3pt specialist last year and my friend made a scoring P1. His scoring guy had a higher ceiling than mine did on a lot of stats. I made a 3pt specialist and my player could reach 99 on his 3 pointer stat and my friends guy could reach 99 too ,but he was a scorer, not a 3 pt specialist. Really what is perk of having a 3pt specialist if even scorers can have it too? I noticed scorers have higher caps on stats like shot close, lay ups, shot in traffic , shot off dribble etc. so if the only difference between a 3pt specialist and a scorer is that the 3 pt player has lower ceilings on most offensive attributes and you just start off with ur 3 pt a little higher than a scorer, what's the ******* point? I guess what I'm asking is..... What are the attribute caps for a scorer? I'm deciding who I want to make.

What does it feel like to play against an NBA player?

From what I heard, extremely unfair. It may not seem like it on TV since everyone is just good but if someone like Kyrie and Steph make a living destroying the best in the world imagine what they do to us normal people.I went to Cal for college so a lot of my friends played against Jaylen Brown. Jaylen as a great guy was a good sport and didn’t really try and ended up still taking over the game and kept the game close. Dude was just draining 3s from everywhere which is ironic since his jumper was miserable in college. One of my other friends went to the same high school and was even in the same small group as Julius Randle as he did go to a Christian school. He legitimately told me, as a scrawny Asian kid he had no hope of even guarding him when they were playing basketball.I had a number of friends go to ULCA and had the chance to play against Ron Artest, Elton Brand, Kevin Garnett, Paul George, etc. They weren’t even legitimately trying and they can already they were extremely outmatched just by their size, speed and hand eye coordination. And then coming from the Bay Area, a lot of my friends grew up with Jeremy Lin, Tyler Johnson, and Aaron Gordon and that was also no contest. Even when Jeremy was at Harvard, just by sheer size and playing with a bunch of Asian Americans it was already outmatched. Jeremy was just going at 50% and getting easy layups and dunks everywhere. Eventually by the time he got to the NBA, it was even more unfair that he just stopped playing with people. Aaron Gordon was just dunking on everyone with out breaking a single sweat. As one of my co workers who played D1 with Nick Calathes put it, there’s a reason he’s Nick is the NBA and he isn’t. What you need to realize is the NBA is a collection of not just the US’s but the world’s best athletes. In other words, even the worst player at 20% is still going to beat you at 100%. This applies by tiers you go down. Even my friend’s brother who played at a D3 school was pretty much destroying everyone. And a friend’s brother who was a D1 bench warmer pretty much destroyed cal’s entire IM league single handedly.

Anyone, CAN YOU WERE EARRINGS IN THE NBA?

not on the court... stern banned that. plus its too much of a liability to have a huge rock on your ear that could easily cut somebody. off the court, why not?! most players have em... even the ones you wouldnt think would... like dirk nowitzki! haha =)

Is it too late to start playing basketball for me?

Even though I have been watching college basketball,NBA,and high school basketball for around 3 years,I have never really given basketball a chance.I mean,I've played it before but nothing serious.Just group games with friends at the school playground or at the park.Despite my size,6'2'',every time we used to play unorganized ball in the playground,my friends would tease me for missing easy layups and mid-range or point blank shots. In fact, they would call me "Shaq",because of my knack for rebounding and as well as for my knack for missing easy layups or shots. This was almost 3 years ago,and I was around 5'11'' back then.(though once again,I mainly blame my lack of maturity for missing those shots, coupled with the fact that I was being serious while playing). This all changed however, when I began rapidly maturing(thanks in fact to the sudden death of my grandma, the person who pretty much raised me). That and other struggles that have shaped me into a man.Anyway, due to my maturity,my game started blooming.I wasn't scared to drive in and get a well-focused layup, and my mid-range game has grown tremendously.I have also learned how to shoot the three, thanks in part practice. So here I am now, having just turned 17 on the 14th,in 10th grade and standing at 6'2''(Im 6'4'' with my Nike Uptempos on).I have found confidence in myself to play the game, and I have also grown a deep passion for it.There is just one problem -- I dont know if Im too old to play basketball next year in my school's varsity team.I can certainly shoot and drive for the layup,as well as know just about every aspect of the game,I have a decent dribble, but I need help with my crossovers and having confidence that defender cant stop me.I do have, however, one thing that very few players my age have:passion, focus, determination, and maturity to lead a team. That is why next year will either make me or brake me.That's why next year I need to make sure that I match all of my coaches standards and demands,if I get selected to play basketball.Do you think Im still in time to fix my game and be someone?

PS:Im really sorry for the long rant.I didnt mean it to be like this.

Will playing basketball hurt fingers for piano?

Hmm.. Go on playing basketball. I am a pianist too and i even an enthusiast on playing sports like basketball, volleyball, badminton tennis and etc. Another example, take a look on Jay Chou(Taiwan's finest artist and he's known all around Asia). Jay is a pianist and he's been playing piano for more than 25 years. He started to play piano at the age of 3 and now he's 29(or 30, i can'r remember). You can check him playing the piano here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbSeZh6apVk Jay is the one with the black coat.

On the other hand, Jay Chou is also a great basketball player. Basketball is his most favorite game(read about him in Wikipedia). You can see him playing basketball with some tricks on a small clip of the movie "Kung Fu Dunk". Here's a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPYxpg9CTAo He is the guy at 00:10.

Indeed, "prevention is better than cure" but it doesn't mean that you can't learn basketball because your a pianist. Because, for those who never try to learn will never learn. Once you've got your desire(in you case, playing basketball), this can bring happiness and satisfaction to yourself plus it adds self-confidence! Trust me. Just BE CAREFUL.
