Which of the following was NOT a reason Karl Marx thought socialism was inevitable?
A) humans must produce B) workers must retain control of their products C) economy determines society D) scarcity and distribution are obstacles to the good society
Does democracy inevitably lead to socialism?
It can, because once people realize that they can vote themselves other people's money, the system unravels, Too bad there wasn't a spot in the Constitution about redistribution of wealth.
Why did Karl Marx believe that Class Conflict was inevitable?
It is based on his economic history of society. In his world, the conflict was economic, i.e., man vs nature as hunter gatherers, then man v man, proletariat v bourgeoisie and so on. He believed that eventually society/the world would eventually evolve into his communist utopia. Politics in general is a conflict over who gets what, when and how...
Is Socialism really the stepping stone to Communism?
Simple question really. I have been hearing some people saying that socialism started with Karl Marx and therefore will result in a totalitarian government like Hitler's Nazi Party, if left unchecked. But really, is it a threat to the free world? Or is it an idea that is misunderstood? I have my own opinions actually. But I don't want to put it up here due to the reason that I'm quite unsure of what I know. Which is the reason why I asked. :P Anyway, please share me your thoughts and opinions regarding this issue. Thanks!
Why was Marx convinced that capitalism would fail? Why did Marxism fail instead?
Do you really expect capitalism to last as long as planet Earth does ….(and maybe even beyond that?) Reference Marx’s theory of history, whose chief points are: 1) that over time human populations must become more productive to keep ahead of the entropy which is inherent in producing the same things in the same way (including with the same overall talent levels and social structure) ad indefinitum. Capitalism was a replacement (for Western) feudalism [including what and how it produced and distributed its products], etc. etc. But the ideology of capitalism (and also feudalism and also ancient slavery) was that this time things will never change.Three more thoughts: 1) do you think we still have capitalism (or at least strictly the same form as mid-19th century Britain’s capitalism as Marx live in it)?2) Do you appreciate the new system Hamilton, John Quincy Adams, and the Carey family
