Hello people:) I'm a 18 year old girl, The problem is everywhere I go especially with my friends I always get checked out by guys, uni,working at the bank, I get told by my mates they think I'm pretty , told by strangers that I'm beautiful and exotic looking cause I'm naturally tan cause of tongan culture and skinny , but in the end my mates always get picked up because they always have everything hanging out (boobs hanging out) so much flesh revealed ,loud and attention seekers get picked up by boys , where as me I'm sociable , bubbly, sense of humor,friendly but guys are too scared to approach me? they usually tell all their boys to come talk to me I always get the feeling they think I'm too good for them:( which is not true because nobody on this earth is perfect we are all equal and everybody is beautiful in their own unique way inside and out. Also I'm an Australian Girl, recently went to the USA the american boys treated me the same way , they wanted to talk too me, too scared? Am I that intemidating?...
Why do I never get approached by men? 10 points?
I'm friendly and usually smiling, intelligent, I dress very well and take good care of myself. People look at me sure but no one ever approaches me. Other girls at my work look average with just a tshirt and pants on and get hit on all the time. I usually wear flattering dresses and heels and skirts ect. Is it because of how I dress? What is the meaning of "down to earth"?
One day evening 6:45, I was returning from a program, I was waiting for a bus at a bus stop, one old lady was also waiting for a bus. Only we both were there in a bus stop. We waited for 10-15 mins not a single bus stopped in front of us. One Old man in the car stopped in front of us and asked where can I drop you both? as there are only a few buses from this stop and there is no exact timing for buses. So old woman got into the car, she asked me also to get into the car, as there were no buses even I was getting late to the hostel, I got into the car.We three (Me, Old Man, Old lady) had some conversation.The conversation goes this way :)Old Man – Have you been to the function where one of India’s great Entrepreneur has come?Old woman – No, I was working in a shoe shop.Old Man – Oh! Today Sir XYZ has come to Hubli.Old Woman – I know him and his wife is my best friend.We were shocked by listening to her words. We were wondering how can she know about such a great personality of India.Old Man – What? Do you know them?Old Woman – Yes, we both studied in the same school, I was junior to her. I know all the problems she has faced in her life. She was my best friend in those times. Even though we had a lot of financial issues in our homes we managed to go to school, but I dropped out, she continued her education.Old Man – Did you speak to them (Sir XYZ and his wife)?Old woman – No, but I am sure she can identify me.Old Man – She (old woman) is a real inspiration for youths like you.Me – True uncle!! (I did not understand why did he tell me at that instant)The man dropped us in another bus stand, me and old woman got on a bus. She did not allow me to pay the ticket charge and she did not allow me to carry her luggage.The woman was Bold, Confident and Energetic. She was responsible and she doesn’t want to depend on others even though she was 72.Later I understood why did the Old man mention that She (Old woman) is a real inspiration for youths like me. In reality, it doesn’t matter how many degrees you have earned, how much literate you are, what kind of dress you are wearing and where you are staying (in city or village), what matters is your attitude towards society, your knowledge and how much self-respected you are. Only relationships matter not the status how much you have earned or earning in life :)She is an example of a down to earth personality.(I did not want to take the celebrities name so mentioned Sir XYZ)Thanks for reading :)
