Which Of These Three Names Sounds Best

Which name sounds best with the last name Wilde?

Scarlett Wilde

Do these three names go together? (10 points for best answer)?

These names are for two girls and a boy. Do they sound good for siblings names:

Aaliyah (Ah-lee-uh) Rose
Zayn Oliver
Amani (Ah-mah-nee) Layah (Lay-ah)

Also, what would you rate each of these names on a scale of 1-10? Also, I personally don't LOVE Layah (Lay-ah) for the middle name of Amani. I was thinking Valentina. What do you think of it? If you don't like any, what is a good middle name for it? It would be awesome if you could find a unique name. Preferably one of Arabic/Indian descent (I'm Indian!).

Thanks for your help :)

Which company name do you think sounds better: SteptoStore, StoreTrail or DoorBeam?

Of the three mentioned names doorbeam sounds good given the concept of your business. But i will suggest you try out more names and come up with something more crisp and acute. These three names have been deduced by taking the most crucial aspects of your idea.Another approach is to find catchy keywords in other languages or synonymous words. None of these three are astounding enough.Just choose some root words and play around with them. Also you can come up with your brand name by just thinking of sounds or smell etc. that springs to your head when you think of your idea.Attaching an emotion is also a good idea. The ultimate approach can be to go completely berserk and give a name which is completely unrelated to your idea.

Which name out of these sounds the best for a nymphet Lolita inspired character ?

........all three names sound kind of cliched for that sort of character. Although I like the vibe you're going for. Honestly, a name like Ophelia would be a little on-the-nose for a character like this - sort of like when people name the popular girl Tiffany or the nerd Gladys or something. A little too 'obvious'.

You could always take elements of both The Virgin Suicides and Lolita (like the symbolism) and come up with a name from that. For example, flowers - particularly daisies and roses - have been used on the covers of both books. Daisy would work, as would Rose. In Lolita, Dolores' mother was named Charlotte (funnily enough, Lola is also a nickname for Charlotte, not just Dolores - not sure if Nabokov did that on purpose). Sophia Coppola directed the Virgin Suicides, and Sophia is a very youthful name.

Also, in Lolita, Humbert's childhood love was named Annabel, and Nabokov chose this in reference to Edgar Allen Poe's poem, 'Annabel Lee'. Annabel is also quite lovely.

Other suggestions from elements of both stories (and similar ones) - Melody (or Elodie), Alice (massive Alice Liddell reference), Faye, Summer, Amelie, Juno, Eve, Ivy (referencing the movie with a young Drew Barrymore, which you might like), Molly & Lucy.

Best of luck! xx

I need some advice to pick an English name. Which one sounds best to you?

Any of the names would be fine. But you asked which one sounds best. Let me talk about what I think sounds best with your last name.I'd say the last three would not be as good because they are slightly harder to pronounce with your last name. The /n/ sound is made in the front of the mouth, and the /k/ sound at the back. This takes a bit more effort. And I can imagine that in rapid speech, the /n/ sound might sometimes tend toward an /ng/ sound, because of the following /k/.You don't like the connotations of "Iris." And I think the /s/ followed by /k/ has the same phonetic issue as the -n names, the front-to-back change. That leaves the names that end with vowels. There is another consideration: rhythm. "Ellie" and "Cassie" each has a stressed syllable followed by an unstressed syllable. Your one-syllable last name would of course be stressed. So that would give your name a stressed-unstressed-stressed rhythm, DAH-dah-DAH.The other two names are longer, and each includes two unstressed syllables in a row. I think these are a better choice, because you get a more interesting rhythm when you add the last name. English commonly has an up-down-up-down rhythm, alternating stressed and unstressed syllables. These two names break up that pattern, in a way that I find pleasing. Maybe you will, too.My preference would be "Olivia," though I like "Victoria" as well. You are right about "Olivia" being popular. It has grown a lot in popularity in about the last 30 years, so it will be especially popular among younger people.http://www.behindthename.com/nam...

Which of these names sounds good for a comic book character?

Several of these are already taken.  Sabre, Eclipse, and Rampage, for three.  Polaris is used by both major comic book companies.  I was going to suggest Stalker, but a quick search showed that it, too, was taken.Whenever making a list like this, search each name together with the word 'comics'.  If nothing turns up, the name is yours until someone else copyrights it.  Otherwise you might have to tweak it a little.  For instance, Marvel has Polaris, and DC has Dr. Polaris.Another trick I sometimes use is to look up synonyms of names already taken.I notice a number of these are actually given names.  If code names aren't coming to you, try a normal identity until something better occurs.  Or change one into a title by putting 'the' before it.  Example:  Victor is a name, The Victor a title.  Damon can become Daemon or the Daemon (pronounced like demon, ae being a Greek dipthong that makes a long e sound, as in Aesop's Fables). But don't expect me to give any good names to you.  I need them all for myself.

Which of these three middle names flow better with my girls name?

I know I want to do Caliana as the first name that means "Princess" and "Calie" for her nickname which means "Beautiful". I am now trying to decide from the middle names below....

The explanation goes that Janaye is a combination of my mom's and husband's moms middle names which are Jane and Faye plus it means "God has answered" and I had a miscarriage before this pregnancy.

Juliet or Juliette is because my name is Julie and my grandmother all of a sudden suggested that name to me saying it would be a great name to name after me without picking my name and said how much she loved it so it would really be for her and make her feel special too

Thoughts?

Can you name some rappers you think lately have sounded like garbage?

Sadly, I've noticed already that people are jumping on saying about anyone new being ‘garbage’, but I actually do enjoy the new styles which hip-hop has acquired and how it evolves as a genre. But, that said, here's my list of who I think haven't sounded their best recently.Kodak Black: I mostly enjoy Kodak’s music, and his somewhat odd voice, but recently, his voice has become too nasal and childish for me to be able to get through an entire song, such as his recent ‘Too many years’.Desiinger: While I like his more agressive style, like on Panda or outlet, other times, for instance on Overnight from his 2016 project, he sounds too mush like he is trying to copy Future and not quite pulling it off.21 Savage: I like some of his music, and more of 21’s mellow and thoughtful side. But, lately he has sounded too croaky for me and has a very sleepy sound, which I frankly just don't like.Despite liking these three, at the moment I think they don't sound as good as they did.
