How do I get notifications on Facebook when someone visits my timeline?
Thanks for A2A. As of now, not possible. Currently, notifications are only for “Answers”, “New Followers”, “Comments” etc. You can check your Settings and see the options as shown below.

It's because he added you to his Close friend list.If you want to added him on your Close friend list, go to his profile >Click Friends underneath his profile picture >Click Edit Friend List > Check Close Friends > Done!Later on, you'll get notified every time he posts something new. How do I turn off the notification of my birthday to others on Facebook?
You cannot turn off. Only when you put privacy from public/friends to only me there will be no notification. When you put only me no one will know your birthday. You can do this prior to some days and after your birthday date so that there will be no notification. Which some people do just so that they can hide. Some even deactivated their account prior to and after some days from their birthday date so that no one will wish them or ask for birthday treat.

Not at all. Facebook doesn't give the damn about the deletion stuff. You have all rights to make yourself comfortable with the things you're putting on it. Just make sure that he doesn't see that before the deletion because he will come to know that the post is intentionally deleted.
