Which one is better: intraday or delivery in the Indian stock market?

Depends on how well you do them.Well in theory short term trading would be more profitable because you can buy on every dip and sell on every peak. In reality you don't know when you're at either until after the fact. I'd wager the people that make massive fortunes, do it off of long term trading, skill, and a good amount of luck.I personally do both short time trading (part time) and long term investing and my long term investments net me more gains than my short term trades. If I were truly honest, I'm losing money on my short term trades but it's money that I set aside specifically for this purpose so it isn't a huge loss in a sense so long term for me is more profitable.Click here to Open an online trading and demat account in 2 min with Zerodha and enjoy the lowest brokerageGood luck

Is the Indian market better for a long term or a short term investment?

I believe Indian stock market can deliver immense returns in long term. ( Anything more than 5 years). In short term it can sway around global or domestic events. Fortunately we have got most of the things rightly placed for us , for next leap of growth. Here are some of the critical things which will take our markets to next level-As per recent forecast by world bank, The Indian economy is expected to grow at 7.2 per cent in FY 2017-18. As a historical benchmark, a country’s stock market doubles its economic growth. As per this yardstick, we could have good 12–14% growth during next 5 years. There is a fundamental change happening in country’s stock market. Its investor base has changed in past 10 years. Previously FII used to play a very critical role for market’s growth. I don’t deny that FIIs are not important now, but DII has now become a formidable force in markets. Mutual fund has got AUMs of more than Rs 20 lac crore . Insurance has 5 times more money that MF’s. Then provident funds and NPS’s of the worlds are also pushing long term money in stock market. This has given lot of stability and also fresh blood to markets.India has young earning population which is pushing consumerism to new level , giving maximum money multiple for each Rupee printed by RBI.India's current account deficit (CAD) lessened down to 0.7 per cent of GDP during April-December 2016, as against a deficit of 1.4 per cent during the same period of 2015-16. This has brought stability to india’s forex situation ,infact, India's foreign exchange reserves were US$ 379.31 billion in the week up to May 26, 2017, as compared to US$ 375.27 billion over the past week.

Which is better for Indian market, stocks or mutual funds?

Depends on the juncture you enter.Aspect Mutual FundMost mutual funds invest in well reputed companies a major portion of the fund, unless you are going with high risk funds. At this point nifty spot is at 8261.75 ,it’s not as far from the nifty’s all time high, hence further upside is relatively a risky bet .In such case if you are investing in regular mutual funds, your entries can be in wrong time. to illustrateYou entered a major mutual fund at nifty nearing 8500.00What would happen if nifty crashes to 7000s levelsThen until nifty reaches 8500.00 levels you won’t make any profit.Even if it reaches your portfolio be in profit if you travel above 8500 levelsSo what’s the best course ?Wait for a correctionA crash is inevitable in market ,be it one month or one year ,you would have more chance at making better returns when you time your entry in a crash than in an upward trending market ,as I see nifty is nearing it’s fuel gauge to refill,so if you wait a better opportunity will come.Off course your mutual fund advisory will have a lot to offer, get real he is there to make commission ,not to make you richAspect StockEven in stock I prefer crash route ,since it helps the timing better. It’s troubled waters ,but I still prefer going for companies which are available cheap but has solid reporting system.Best bet futures & option activated companies, since they have to keep a minimum standard to stay in that market .Other companies are good, but not worth the risk ,if you are planning on minimum capital, cause they may fail or succeed, but when they fail they fail big.Alternative is to go long on these companies with profits from major investment or use a cushion of 10% in every quarterly sales .Again these are pretty biased personal views, arguments are welcome.

Which one is better IOCL (marketing) or ONGC drilling?

There are pros and cons of every job. Consider them before taking the decision.IOCL (Marketing)Pros:You are treated with respect in and out of the company.IOCL job is white collar job.Salary and perks are good. You get one of the best/max PRP in this company.Management of Indian Oil is way better than other PSUs. Importance of this point is realised when you actually work for any company.Marketing network of Indian Oil is vast. Probability of getting your desired location/hometown is good.Cons:Unless you are in sales, your experience will not value much in other companies when you’ll try to switch jobs. You are transferred every 4–5 years. For some it is a plus point and for others it isn’t.ONGC (Drilling)Pros:Salary of drillers is a little higher than the marketing employees of IOCL due to field allowances.Drillers are in high demand all over the world. You can switch job easily if you want to work outside India. You can earn 10–20 times or probably more when you get a job in other upstream giants outside India.Cons:You are an Officer but this isn’t a white collar job. You’ll have to get your hands dirty, and rest of the body too.Don’t expect the same respect here which you were getting in IOCL. You are treated like a nobody here.Working conditions are really harsh. Temperature crosses 45 degree celsius normally mostly in all the locations. You will work there in scorching heat 12 hours a day for 14 days or in 2 days on/off pattern.Number of Assets are restricted. So chances of getting home location are very few. None if you are from North India. This job is only better if you want to work outside India after working some years in ONGC.If you need urban lifestyle for yourself and your family then do not go for ONGC. Those extra few thousands in ONGC won’t justify the changes in your lifestyle and harsh working conditions.I know at least 50 guys who left their Indian Oil job including me and joined ONGC. Everyone regrets. Because when you have experienced good management and friendly working surrounding in one company, then you expect better than that in your next job which no one gets in ONGC.

Which one has a better scope in India, embedded or VLSI?

Thanks for A2A. I would slightly defer from Harpreet.Based on my observation, I would suggest you to opt for VLSI over embedded field. Following are the reasons for my justifications:Salary - Beginning salary of VLSI Engineer is almost 2x than the Embedded engineer in India.Growth - Several VLSI and Services companies working on core field and providing services exists. Its estimated that about 20,000 VLSI engineers are currently working in India and expected to grow as years pass by. Further, more than 20+ top companies are in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Guragon. (DISCLAIMER : I dont have source for this information. )Work: Some companies like Intel, AMD, Nvidia, Broadcom has teams who do excellent work. However, its limited to certain team inside the company. You would eventually be able to transfer once you get into the domain if you are good candidate.Currently there is deficiency in quality engineers in both the fields in India. However, for above three reasons, i would opt for VLSI over embedded. Please note that I have assumed that you would earn VLSI degree from reputed college.Good luck.

Which is the best 125 cc bike in india? What is your opinion about hero hoda glamour ?is it glamour fi is good?

A Glamour PGMfi would cost you more than a 150cc bike. It is, no doubt, one of the better bikes in the market, but it does not give value for you hard-earned money.

Honda BB Twister is an excellent machine. Its a 110cc, but is more powerful than most 125cc motorcycles in the Indian market. Also, its furl efficiency figure does not disappoint. With the Honda brand, you can be assured of great reliability, engine refinement, excellent service and workmanship. Go with the Twister.
