What is your opinion on best overall car audio brand?
I know this topic for some can become very edgy, but I believe I have come up with a reasonable in MY opinion for the best all round audio... I will not classify the small known brands, cause theres LOTS! 1) Rockford Fosgate... HANDS DOWN! 2 and 3) JL and Alpine... I cant decide whats better, they both rival each other well, I think JL has an edge though 4)Kenwood... a step down from RF, for the budget install, still GREAT products, I love their decks! 5) Kicker... gotta hand it to them, they make a relentless hard hitting subwoofer, and some nice sounding mids 6) Infinity... I have one of their reference series subwoofers, nice clear sound, not too loud though, and I hear they make good mids and tweets 7) Sony... They have some good decks, but their audio quality in speakers is limited to home audio 8) Pioneer... Good sounding cheaply priced products 9) Polk Audio... love their home audio 10) Boss... Not so sure about them, they seem to like wal mart 11) Scosche... gotta hand it to em, they OWN walmart! not too bad of a wiring kit either! 12) Renegade... a subsidiary of Rockford, I only classify them because I have one of their 1000 watt monoblocks, very good product 13) Sony Xplod line... more a beauty queen line than quality 14) AudioBahn... not a fan 15) Dual... Seriously? I may have forgotten some others, but these are ones I have experience with
Which is a better car overall, the 2012 Toyota Camry or the 2012 Nissan Maxima?
The smart choices is the Camry. Besides the fact that it's much less expensive, you also can get great factory finanancing available and free maintenance for 2 years. The Maxima is a good car, but I have always found it extremely overpriced. They just redesigned the Maxima for 2013, so if you are buying a 2012, you are taking a huge depreciation hit solely due to the redesign. At the Maxima price point, you can start thinking about the Infiniti G37 sedan into the discussion. The G37 is a much better vehicle in every way. The Altima is a better value than the Maxima and more directly comparable to the Camry.
Which one of these opg car auctions is the best?
Those are all impound auctions and unless you own a wrecking yard you should stay away from all of them. All the cars that they sell were abandoned by their owners usually because they were not worth redeeming. Most of the cars are junkers that have blown engines or blown transmissions. Usually the cars do not have keys and they don't let you start them. Minimum bid is usually around $100. So you buy a few cars and then you need to spend more to tow them out and make keys only to find that the cars have a blown engines and are not worth fixing. So then you junk them and will be lucky to get $25 each. There will be lots of buyers looking for a deal and if there are any worthwile cars the other bidders will bid the prices sky high.
Are Pontiacs good, reliable cars? Which one of these is better overall?
Normally most would say grand am but that depends, you see my father has worked for gm for many many years and i have helped him and seen most of a grand am, heres the deal, they are aerodynamic good on gas not too quick or too slow however most of them are front wheel drive and their transmission is directly under the motor putting tons of weight in the front and hardly any in the back. you are more likely to find a sunfire that is rwd and has a more centered transmission however the v6 in the grand am is a lot better and is an overall better vehicle. I would suggest the grand am, you may want to test drive the vehicles if you are thinking about buying one though because not every car is the same and just because it sounds good and feels good running it may not be. test drive them both, but i would recommend a grand am.
Which one better overall? Ferrari vs Lamborghini!?
Ferrari: Has been a dominant brand for multiple years (decades) and has attracted more Celebrities today. Jay Leno owns every Ferrari out there, I heard at one point Ferrari CHOSE who would buy the vehicle. Their Enzo Model, Ferrari chose 20 people that can buy it. Jay Leno and Pink Floyd were one of them. Marketing, obviously they are good. the brand is unquestionable and very reliable. You got multiple models to choose from. Not to mention Colors too! Lamborghini: Really good cars. Not so much the celebrity type although there are a few celebrtities that own this and don't forgot The DarkKnight (2008) had the Reventon Model driven by Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) in the movie. Lambourghini holds the "Most Expensive" car record today, with it's Reventon price being $1.7 million plus Tax. They have limited color ristrictions. In general, you will see "technically" more Lambo's than Ferrari's because Lambo's is more available to public than Ferrari is
