Which One Is The Best Permanent Straightening Or Temporary

Is permanent hair straightening bad for your hair?

It can sound funny but I will be honest with you. I went for the permanent straightening almost every year. I was obsessed with poker straight hair. I know you want to know how my hair reacted to these treatments. It did no harm except for it made my hair thinner. The side effects were not that harsh but at the end you mess up with your natural hair and these are chemical treatments.I took a great care of my hair like using sulphate free shampoos and using deep conditioning method. I took the hair vitamins. I took care of my diet. Trust me it does help. If you are going for rebonding every year, take a gap of atleast an year and take good care of your hair. Focus on improving the quality of your hair and the results will be much better. The best home made remedy to get straight hair is to use a pack of multani mitti and curd every week. You won’t get poker straight hair but it does a decent job of giving you smooth and silky hair.Going natural is the best thing for the long term. Think about it. :)Hair smoothening: Things no hair stylist will tell you ( my story )

PERMANENTLY or TEMPORARILY straighten my hair?

Which is better? Which is safer and healthier for my hair?

1. Getting it permanently straightened at a salon (but of course I'd have to straighten it about once a week to keep it neat)

2. Straightening my hair with a flat iron about once a week and wearing my hair curly for the other 6 days.

How long does temporary straightening last?

It might get a little wavy depending on the weather and your hair type, but usually when you straighten your hair with a straightener it will stay like that until you get it wet again.

Also: don't use hairspray! If you haven't noticed, HAIRSPRAY IS LIQUID. Liquid will cause your hair to unstraighten.

Is daily straightening better than permanent straightening or smoothening?

In my experience, it isn't. I have been getting keratin treatments for a few years now. But before that, I would use a flat iron on my hair each time I washed and dried it. This was very damaging. My hair was in pretty bad condition. I had to stop using heated tools and get several trims to get rid of the damage. The treatments have made my hair smooth and frizz free. I no longer need to used heated tools. If the treatment is done properly, it isn't damaging.Tasha Julistylesplendorbliss.com

Can you use semi-permanent hair dye after a relaxer/straightening perm?

Yes, you can semi permanent dye your hair right after a relaxer. They actually say that is the best time to do it because the hair follicles are open and absorb more color.
Basically after you rinse the relaxer and neutralize, you should add the hair color. About half way thru the color processing time, apply your deep conditioner on top of the color, this way you only have to rinse once. When the time is up, rinse first with warm/luke warm water, then cold to seal the cuticle and the color. Rinse til the water runs as clear as possible.
Since rinses coat the hair shaft they can help the hair, but colors other than just black and brown can make the hair look dry, so you might add a nightly moisturizer or oil sheen during the day. Shampoo with color enhancing shampoos to make it last as long as possible and not fade in the sun and a good deep conditioner weekly.

Does permanent hair straightening really damages the hair?

Hair straightening is very common in fashion these days. All young girls and boys are going after it without even knowing the damages that are caused by the heat and chemicals.Hair straightening is a part of fashion and hair styling these days. However, it is also true that hair is susceptible to chemicals and heat, which is applied to straighten frizzy hair. It happens that straightening of hair does more damage than benefit to your hair. So, you should be aware of the potential damage that hair straightening does to you.  Hair can be straightened at home or in salon. In any case the straightening is done on temporary basis and so it is done repeatedly. Chemicals are used for straightening hair in salons along with hair dryers and straightening irons. The curlier the hair is, more these products are used and the damage done is comparatively more.Effects  The actual effect of the chemicals and the dryers is that they make the hair dry and that makes it brittle. The hair can get extremely damaged and in some cases they get burnt also. The negative effects that occur are relatively much higher than the other styling done to your hair.  If you are choosing hair straightening process done at home, select the dryer or the straightener that is based on ionic systems. The main reason is that their heating surface is non-sticky and causes less damage to the hair.Precautions  Use the dryer and straightener occasionally and sparingly. Make sure your hair is conditioned, dry and you should also coat it with heat protective product before you use a straightening iron. Make certain that the iron is not too hot and apply it to hair in small portions. It is better to move the iron gently down the hair and then leave it slowly. If the outcome is below your satisfaction level, you can follow the process all over again. But never ever stop the iron on any part of the hair. If someone is facing more hair loss or with baldness related issues then consult a good hair doctor. Hair transplant is a procedure to treat hair loss problem. You can get the best hair transplant in Delhi at affordable cost.

What is the difference between temporary hair straightening and permanent hair straightening?

there is big difference between the both treatments but i won’t suggest going for any treatments because it damages hair and scalp for at least 3 years. you loose volume, density, texture of the hair badly. none of the chemical treatments are good. if u have any hair related issue, do let me know..

Can i have my hair straightened or permed after dyeing and bleaching it?

Yeah, you COULD, but your hair might fall out.

Not a good idea sweetur. Your hair is is looking like that because of all the chemicals you've already put in it. Best idea.. Leave it alone. NO MORE CHEMICALS!! go to the salon, get a cute cut (it will take the dry unruly ends off) and deep condition it weekly!

Good luck.

What are the differences between hair straightening and hair smoothing?

Thanks for A2A!!I would personally suggest u to do hair smoothening. Even experts suggest smoothening over straightening.Smoothening makes hair look natural soft, unlike the results from straightening that can give the hair pin-straight tips, which contributes a fake look.Hair smoothing is a temporary treatment that also goes by the names Brazilian blowout, keratin treatment, and protein treatment. The process involves saturating your hair with a formaldehyde solution followed by drying it out and using a flat iron to lock your hair in a straight position. However, the chemicals used for smoothing hair are not as strong as the ones used in hair straightening treatments. This makes this treatment less damaging. But, it is not ideal for all hair types. The effects from the treatment last from 2 to 5 months and it is primarily recommended for hair that is wavy or ridden with frizz. This is because it doesn’t so much alter the structure of your hair so much as it aligns it. The treatment is not likely to be as effective with hair that is extremely thick or curly.Permanent hair straightening is a process by which the structure of your hair is altered to give you pin straight hair. The chemicals used in this process permanently break the bonds in your hair shaft. Heat is applied to restructure your hair, and more chemicals are used to seal the newly formed bonds. While this process causes more damage than hair smoothing, it can straighten even the curliest of hair types and is permanent, meaning that the treated hair will remain straight until your natural hair grows out. Permanent hair straightening is also known as ‘Japanese straightening.’Regardless of the choice you make, remember, hair that is defrizzed still needs some serious care. No doubt your hair will be easier to manage and maintain. But you will still need to go the extra mile to keep it damage-free and healthy.
