I just want some insight, I want to get a dress that will completely blow my boyfriend away when he sees me. I want it to be a surprise. So, guys, what kind of dresses do guys prefer. What ones are the sexiest. Which ones are tacky-looking. Colors? Anything to help. And no, i'm not basing my whole dress on this, I just want some ideas to surprise my boyfrienddd(: I have strawberry blonde hair, it's not bright RED or ORANGE at all, it's most blonde but there is a little red in it. I have pale skin, but usually I use some self tanner for prom, so I can get as much color as I'd like. I'm 5'7" and I weigh about 125 pounds, I'm not a stick, but I'm not fat either haha. So, ideas, tips, comments. On the dress, hair, makeup anything. Links with pictures are really helpful buuuuuut not neccessary (: Thanks so muuuch. I wore a short dress because it was different from others and MUCH MORE practical for dancing. I chose a dress A line because for me it was more flattering. It was the color red because this color attracts the eyes. I thought the off shoulder and the embroidery added femininity to the look. Furthermore, because I bought it online it was less expensive and nobody had my dress. I only received good comments on my dress, one of my friends even told me that out of all the dresses of the prom night, mine was her favorite after hers, of course.This is a picture similar to my prom dress :I hope it gave you some ideas

I prefer knee-length, red sparkly prom dresses. Boys like red dresses on girls so Id advise you wear that. Also a dark purple dress, and sometimes black is pretty but red is always best to me!

MOST guys... Im sorry that this is a stupid question, dont bother awnsering if all your going to say is "Just buy what you like dont worry about what the guy thinks."
