Which Engineering colleges of India have actual focus on Teaching & Research from Faculty Point of View except IIT & NIT?

Hi there, I am a third year CSE student at NIIT University. Established in 2009, NIIT University (NU) offers tons of opportunities to a student to research over a topic of his or her desire. For this purpose, there are projects and programs like R&D project, Capstone project, NURap program. The R&D project was devised to enable NU students to work in the research being done by the faculty as co-investigators. Faculty share their research problems and the students are given an opportunity to choose the problem that interests them most. After which, they work with the faculty over the course of a semester on the research problem. They get to do literature survey, devising instruments to collect data, data gathering & analysis and finally presenting their research findings to a faculty panel.NU students can also take advantage of the research assistantship programme – NURap (NU Research Assistantship Programme) and the travel assistance programme – NUTap (NU Travel Assistantship Programme) during the R&D project and after the project if they choose to continue doing research. These are the big project programs which one deals with starting from his third year of engineering. But at NU, we start out from our very first semester. I remember the project, Nano EPL- Nano Electronics Premier League, which we did in our very first semester of college. Then there were projects in almost every subject of my second year. I made a website for my Java project, an app for my OS project. So, all in all, NU is a great place for all those who want to excel practically.I can assure anyone that the course structure here is well organised and NU has the edge over other institutes due to more than 30 years of experience of NIIT group. The professors teaching CSE- related courses are really good, with notable names like Dr Prosenjit Gupta from University of Minnesota, Dr Sudhir Kaiker from Canada, Prof Kamlesh Bajaj and Prof Navin Kapur from IIT D. Many students have worked with them and published research papers and gone to conferences.

Which IIT college is the best for aeronautics?

This is a 100% correct answer irrespective of the upvote it gets. This answer is in Indian context:No Aerospeace engineers are produced from any Indian engineering college + Indian engineering curriculum is 40 years old. Most of the students from such popular Indian engineering collegespractice computer programming, to become a computer engineer(5–50 LPA, depending on the skills). These companies are not interested in academic credentials, but are concerned only about the TopCoder and GitHub profiles of the job applicants.become managers in the industry, based on luck and on personal leaning(5–15 LPA, depending on the luck). These companies depend heavily on the previous academic credentials of the job applicants, from a college. There is NO demand of any Indian Aerospeace engineering degree holder in any company of the world in 2018.This image can be further helpful:This is the reason I say that IITs are nothing more than a scam in India: A K Pandey's answer to What is it that we as Indians are collectively doing wrong?
