Which Religious Myth Do You Find Most Unacceptable To Be Relayed To Children

Is Buddhism also dealing with child molestation?

It seems like Catholicism seems to be the only religion dealing with child molestation. The popular theory is this its due to the inability for priest to marry. Although, You look at Buddhism where monks also have vows of chastity and boys are prevalent within the temples, but you never hear of child abuse. Is it just not talked about?

Can homosexuals be trusted around children?

If you don't trust homosexuals with your kiddos then bring them to a straight registered sex offender. I think with you as a parent, they're still better off.

Why are muslims so sensitive when there religion is criticized?

♪♣ Đǐvǐήέ Яάў ♣♪: A person born in non-muslim family is automatically labeled Kafir by muslim. Why?

You yourself told that MOST muslims are terrorists or atleast extremists so what does this shows? Islam is a religion which teaches terrorism. Non-muslim terrorists don't give everyday surprise or gift of Bomb blast in my city.

There is freedom of speech, allowed by every religion except Islam. In Shariah (Islamic Law) only muslims are allowed to witness in court and everyone who leaves Islam, either born or converted is ordered to be killed by every muslim (I can show proof if you want)

I agree eastern muslims are crazy, they have more blind faith (Here I mean accepting without research) then me. I always have research, I was not brain washed to be atheist by my parents. I choose to be.

You said you are not terrorist but I say you are also not following Islam (Book and kill thing) Most muslim are gonna send me to hell for this plus and no ignorance involved as I was extreme muslim.

What would you do if a religious booth gave your child a Bible, while you’re an atheist or a member of other religion? What if your child wanted to keep the Bible?

The first counter-question that occurs to me is: What the hell would I as an atheist be doing at a religious booth in the first place? But OK, let’s say there was some legitimate reason, and I found myself, kid in tow, in a religious booth, and someone piqued my kid’s interest and handed him (her?) a Bible. You may be surprised to hear that that Bible wouldn’t be the first one in my household. I have two, one of them inherited from my religious mother. The other is a copy of The Brick Testament, which I would purchase for my hypothetical child if I didn’t already own it.Depending on age, I would already have told my kid that I consider all religions as hair-raising nonsense; (s)he would have had an opportunity to compare the Bible with Grimm’s Fairy Tales and Harry Potter. So anyway, if Junior was interested in that particular Bible, sure, why not? What those Bible humpers apparently don’t understand is this: the Bible is pure magic! Just not the kind of magic they think. To a believer, the Bible is a solid, reassuring confirmation of his/her faith. But to a non-believer, the Bible is the best evidence that you can fool some of the people all of the time. It’s pure nonsense! Talking snakes? A worldwide flood? Three kings following a star to unload gifts on a peasant child? Walking on water? Virgin birth? Seriously, Grimm’s Fairy Tales make more sense and are more entertaining. My only problem with my child reading the Bible? There’s way too much atrocity in it. The whole damn tome drips blood all over the place. I might want to age-restrict it. But my guess is that the problem would resolve itself because of the endless passages of pure boring drudgery - a young child wouldn’t even make it through Genesis before tossing it in the corner. If my child were ever interested in Judaism or Christianity, reading the Bible would fix that right quick. In the words of the great late Isaac Asimov,“Properly read, the Bible is the most potent force for atheism ever conceived.”

Is Judaism the true religion? Research proves to me Christianity and Islam are evil political pagan copycats?

lionontheprowl gave a good answer, but I'm still going to give my two cents.

Because you have found fault with Christianity and Islam, does not mean that by default Judaism is the path for you. You must both study and apply the lessons learned to how you live before you make a decision to begin a conversion process.

I am Jewish and of course believe it is the right religion for me. I don't claim to tell others it is the right religion for them. Judaism doesn't teach us that all must be Jewish to know God or merit blessing and atonement. Judaism sees all humans as of equal worth before God.
