Which specialization is the best in MBA? Finance/marketing/HR

All of them are best. You need to make choice according to your interest and passion. Interest is first criteria followed by your ability to study relavant skill require to study subject. For ex. I like finance but i am not competent in complex maths so I better not studying that subject if I aim to find employment. From the entrepreneurial perspective, I may risk to study it and might drop or continue depending upon my ability to perform. This also suggest for any subject you plan to study, you should have little exposure or knoweldge about it right before you start student.Another factor is, skill and talent reqknowledgeeach of your suggested career. For finance, you need skills such as analytics, reasoning, predictions, braindstorming, statistics, love to play with numbers, inclination towarda back Office work, brainstorming with like minded people etc. Salary scope and international demand of finance expert is significant. For HR, you need to have interest in human pyschology, organizational behavior, dealing with range of professional, employee psychology, resolving work place political issues, interest in talent hunt, empowering professional to reach their goal. MBA in HR scope are good but anyone looking for HR degree should opt for MHRM degree and combination of MSW and MHRM would be advantage and lead to lucrative abd outstanding career. Mere MBA in HR is not advisable.Marketing. I love it. Many employer and B school deliberately consider sales job for Marketing guy but that is cheating. Marketing ks different to sales.Marketing department lay out plan and strategy which is executed by sales team. Marketing is creative subject and require to set excellent coordination with Sales team and Advertising team. Marketing, sales and Finance experts are backbone of any company. For marketing, candidate must have outgoing skills, ability to analysing competition and competitor and design short term, long term strategy. Pleasant personality, smiling face, good body language, team leading capacity, decent manner, eye on current event, changing trend is also important.HR team is also important since they manage, hire best people to run their company.Best Luck

Which has better scope, marketing or hr?

Marketing has a better scope. It always had a better scope and considering the growth of digital marketing and the number of job opportunities in the field, you can be sure that there will be scope in the future too.Just imagine and compare the number of Marketing and Sales persons with the number of H.R persons an ordinary company needs. You will get the picture. You should also consider the fact that many MBA students are hired for pure Sales roles than Marketing. So based on your wish to get into sales, your decision should be made. The nature of job differs from industry to industry.A H.R Manager in Manufacturing Industry will have a reduced salary, comfort, growth than a H.R Manager in Software Industry. There will be very high pressure in marketing whereas there will not be equal pressure for a H.R Manager. The Career Growth in Marketing will be very good and will be great if you perform well. Whereas the career growth in H.R will be low when compared to marketing. In salary terms also Marketing will be the winner. If you want a 9 to 5 office job without high work pressure, then H.R is the right choice for you.But if you want a Challenging and hard job with a lot of work pressure, then marketing is your cup of tea.But more than the scope, salary, growth, etc, there lies a main factor….Interest, Passion or whatever you may call it, is very important. Because if you have interest then scope, growth etc doesn't matter. So Choose your option wisely.Good luck…

Which has the better scope? MBA (HR) or MBA (international trade )?

Both HR & Marketing are important in business and both require different skill-sets. In my opinion, MBA in marketing would have better scope because:1. Marketing is closer to the revenue of a business. Generally, companies consider marketing as Profit-center and HR as Cost-center. If you do well in marketing, your contribution would be easily recognized by top management. 2.  I think marketing would have more jobs. As soon as a startup is founded, marketing executives are needed. However, HR exec's hiring could be postponed or outsourced till company becomes bit stable. In the same company, size of marketing team would be bigger than size of HR team. 3. Many B-schools don't offer HR discipline, but almost everyone offers Marketing. So, you may get less options to study HR. It could also be seen as a signal about demands of  jobs.  However, HR has some advantages as well. If everyone starts thinking like the above points, you would get less competition in HR :). So, with lesser efforts, you can easily grow in HR career ladder also. Btw, most of the top managers need to learn HR skills over the time because they need to hire, fire, retain & mentor employees & team. XLRI is one of the best B-schools for HR.  If you are passionate about HR's roles & responsibilities, then no harm in learning it.

Education is not useless at all! If your aim by completing MBA or to get a degree just to a job, will be a foolish act.Rather than choosing a degree based on job availability in market will head you nowhere. You must look at your personality and other skills to choose a carrier path.HR is for those people who are extroverts, Able to manage people, Good communication skills, Presentation Skills, Training, Recruitment, Selection, Tapping talent in market, Helping organization to achieve its strategic goals. While on the other hand, Tourism is currently growing industry too specially in our country (Pakistan).
