Which is the better stream, electronics and electrical engineering or electronics and telecommunications?
I studied electronics and telecommunication. I believe that it is more versatile and open to more number of fields in comparison with electronics/electrical engineering.In electronics and telecommunication, we studied some part of Computer Science (Java, Operaational systems), Antennas (RFMA, WTP), statistical computations (RSA) and a lot about integrated circuits, mobile communication and semiconductors.The thing is that, after graduation you can choose any of those disciplines which have been taught.But again, it all boils down to your personal liking towards a particular subject. I will ask you to check the general syllabus of the streams in the University you are applying to. Choose whatever you believe you will be best in.
Which is better IT or electrical and electronics engineering?
Dost, I think first u have to decide that in which field r u interested? then me and & others will help u proper. by the way, nowadays many opportunities in power / energy industry and search universities who offered power mang. cources(incl. IT,Elec&Electronics Eng.) . So, it would be better for u if u r interested and wanna ur carrear in same field.
Which branch is better electrical engineering or electronics and communication?
It depends on your interest and only you can decide which branch is better for you.First let us understand the difference between these two engineering branches. Both Electrical Engineering & Electronics and Communication engineering are the core engineering branch. Generally in electrical engineering you study about the power system, electrical machines, power electronics, switch gear and protection, Network or circuit theory and EMFT. While in ECE you generally study about analog and digital electronics, analog & digital communications, microprocessor and microcontrollers, EMFT and wave theory, signal & system. However there are some subjects like control system, measurements and instrumentations are common to both EE and ECE.Sound mathematical background is required for electrical engineering. Now, if you are asking the question from job point of view. Then let me clarify that both electrical engineers and electronics and communication engineers have immense job opportunity in both private as well as public sector. However an electrical engineer have slight advantage as compared to electronics and communication engineers in the field of public sector owing to large nos. of PSUs in INDIA in the field of energy and power system. In ECE student may also get jobs in govt. sector like in BEL, ISRO etc.Apart from the above, both electrical engineers and electronics and communication engineers can give ESE examination and can get good techno administrative job in indian railways, IOFS, CEA etc. The vacancies in ESE are comparable in both electrical engineering and electronics and communication engineering.In addition to above both electrical engineers and electronics and communication engineers are eligible for UPSC CSE exams. However only electrical engineering is available as an optional suject in UPSC CSE Examination.Now you may decide which branch is better for you.Thanks for reading.
Which branch is better: electrical or electronics engineering? Why?
I have completed my diploma and bachelor engineering in electrical and electronics engineering. Working in electronics is easier because you will be working below 230v maximum but in electrical you need to work on low tension and high tension 3.3 kv to 6.6 kv may be more than this it depends on the company and u will be handling air circuit breaker and vacumn circuit breaker, sf6 breaker. Because of this u may face more risk and u feel tired to move from one place to another place because switch gear and location where motors working has more distance to travel . Thank you
