Who do you like more, Batman or Superman? Why?
I used to love Batman beyond (hehe, no pun intended) any other DC hero. He was freaking awesome, y’know? Always had a plan for everything, always knowing what to do.Superman? Well… I didn't know too much about him. My impression on Superman was that he was some upstart golden boy in a cape, with no weaknesses and could defeat all the baddies easily. I suppose he's a little bit like that, but for the most part, that's far off.Then, I went to see Man of Steel, and my view on Superman changed drastically.I realised that even though he was a high and mighty Kryptonian, he still did have feelings and emotions. He didn't carry himself that high- his ego doesn't dominate everything, I mean. He had more weaknesses besides a green rock.I used to think Superman didn't mind killing, and he would happily stop someone's life to save the day. That was his function, to my past self. Nothing more. Now, I realise he hates killing, and only does it when there's no other option, or like in the Injustice storyline, he's so angry he can't contain himself.This made my view on Supes go up a lot. It would've made him my answer for this question, had it not been for the Dark Knight (no, not the movie).The Arkham games are some of the best Batman games I've ever played. They're truly fantastic, immersing you into the story, and are unforgettable.They also made me discover more about Batman. I knew his parents were murdered, but I never realised how much it affected him. I thought he'd just seen his parents dead and thought, Well, time to fight crime! I didn't have the full story, how he's never truly let them go, how he doesn't kill to avenge his parents. Arkham City is the one that really made me change my views, when the Joker died and Batman was actually feeling remorse.So, I'd tie them. I like Bats and Supes for their individualness, and I couldn't possibly rank one above the other. They're both fantastic.
Who's the better man, Superman or Captain America?
Superman.Superman doesn't protect people because of his powers. He's just that pure.Here, he lost all of his powers. And yet, he pushed his body to the limit and trained just to keep protecting Metropolis as a vigilante.During Geoff Johns’ Flash run, Wally West nearly threw his costume away as Kid Flash because when he saw Superman with his own eyes, he felt like he wasn't a hero at all, until Superman reassured him.In Injustice Gods Among Us, during a flashback, Superman saw three muggers who just robbed a store. He didn't take them to the clouds and threaten to drop them, he told them to throw the mask away and do something better with their lives. It's not about power, he's just pure like that.Captain America is pure but he's not as pure as Superman. He’s a soldier. He has killed people before even outside the war.The only being Superman has ever killed was Doomsday, and I don't really know if he counts because he always comes back. Moreover, Doomsday is a killing machine who knows nothing but hate who beat the Justice League. He couldn't be beaten and Superman still hesitated to kill him.Steve is the greatest man in the Marvel Universe, but Superman is the greatest man in all comics.
If I make a picture with the Superman logo, can I sell it or are there copyright issues?
It is both copyright and trademark protected. If you photographed it and what you are selling is primarily the image, then you are in violation. If you painted or drew it and especially if it is a minor part of the presentation - like on a t-shirt worn by a kid in an active scene or a collection of iconic images - then it can be defended as a work of art. If you want to sell it because you think the Superman logo has a special value and will sell better than your making a Butterman or Geekman logo, then you are asking - "Can I make money off of someone else's valuable logo?" and the answer should be obviously "No."
Canonically, is either Batman or Superman better looking/more attractive?
Superman is known for being more attractive. He is a symbol for all that is good and hope. He is God-like or even like a guardian angel. Batman is a good guy but at the same time a vigilante and dark installing fear into not only criminals but also citizens and even politicians. He also wears a mask as Batman while Superman is the opposite where he hides behind his glasses as silly as it sounds when he is Clarke Kent except the new version. As Superman he is supposed to be tall, dark hair, and piercing blue eyes. Look at all the female characters who fall in love with Superman and scream for him when he flies by or lands for a speech to the city. Then look at the cast for Batman vs Superman. The original Superman better looking than Adam West. Christopher Reeve more than Michael Keaton. Brandon Routh or whatever his name is better than Christian Bale. And you can say Henry Cavill more than Aflek. Sorry if I spelled any names wrong. Batman should be somewhat good looking to play the Bruce Wayne part but he mostly gets by on his money. But Superman needs to be a guy that even men are like I want to be him. That is why in Man of Steel the female soldier at the end says to her commander “he is hot.” OK enough from me that was weird saying about good looking guys haha
Who makes a better couple, Batman-Wonder Woman or Superman-Wonder Woman?
I think the people, that are shipping Batman and Wonder Woman based on the DCAU are forgetting something.Bruce actually dumped her. He just couldn’t stop his obsession and actually enjoy his life for once.Yes Diana was very interested on him. But rather than dating wonder woman he chose to be with Batgirl. You know the daughter of his friend commissioner Gordon and the exboyfriend of his adopted sonOh and Batgirl had a miscarriage with Bruce’s son. That batman just wasn’t prepared for a relationship.I love Batman just like anyone. But he really needs to deal with his demons before he can be in a serious relationship or he will end up as an old man that is bitter and alone (again).Now should Superman date Wonder woman?I’m not sure. I think Lois Lane really is his soulmate.Lois Lane might not be able to fly but she as a wonder as a woman as Diana.She knows martial arts ,and she is Clark’s best friend. She challenges him and she always brings a smile to Clark.Even when his alternate universe self was using his body, Lois Lane was able to tell him apart just by looking at his eyes:Now that’s true love.Wonderwoman.But if I had to choose I think Wonder Woman is definitively a better fit with Superman.New 52 wonder woman + Superman romance was handled a bit shallow at first. It was basically the big jock meets the cheerleader.But as time went on I was sold. Their attraction to each other was deeper than mere physical atraction.They do make a sweet couple and you can see how much Superman cares for her and how much she cares for him.Wonder woman sharing her more vulnerable side doesn't make her weak or less of a feminist icon. It just means both are willing to share that side of themselves—both the best and the worst. It means she is willing to trust him. Just like a real couple.Both we're confortable sharing each other weak sides and that just made their bond even stronger.And they can enjoy the simple aspects of life. Unlike Bruce with Diana, they could talk about random things like watching movies.Wonder Woman, unlike Lana or Lois, is Clark’s equal in combat. I think she is the one that can understand his superhero side more than anyone. Oh and both are incredible badass while fighting together.So my vote goes for Superman and Wonderwoman.
Is there gonna be a sequal to superman returns and if so where can i view a trailer or pics?
As of right now, I'm thinking no. Brandon Routh and Kate Bosworth are not signed on for another movie, and since they're CK and LL, I'm guessing there won't be a new movie. The first one didn't live up to its hype :/ EDIT: I looked into it more, and right now they do have a sequel announced. It's called Superman: Man of Steel, and it's supposed to come out in 2011. However, no one is signed on for it yet. Apparently it's going to be a reboot of some kind to save the character.
Who is your favourite character, Superman or Batman?
Batman is my all time favorite superhero (besides maybe Nightwing).This dude gets past his traumatic past of watching his parents’ life leave their eyes, to fight insane criminals in crazy gear and amazing tech. Not to mention how much practice he put into that.He’s an inspiration.Yes, so is Superman. Superman is an alien from a planet that exploded and came to fight for humans, even though he has no reason to.The biggest reason I like Bats more…he has to work harder.He’s a normal human. He doesn’t have powers, he doesn’t have a special suit that allows him to become stronger, or smaller, or shoot lasers.He’s human.He’s had to work so hard to get where he is. I’m not saying Supes didn’t…I’m just saying Bats did harder.Not only that…but I like the Bat Fam a lot. My favorite people ever. Sorry Krypton Fam.Sorry for all the pics.
