Which T-shirt Design Is Better

Which is better for the design of graphic t-shirts: Illustrator or Photoshop?

The two programs work in very different ways and it’s important to have a firm understanding of this because this will, ultimately, influence which one is the right tool for the job.Photoshop is geared toward digital photo manipulation and photorealistic styles of computer illustration. When you create artwork within it, whatever the pixel resolution is, is fixed. If you enlarge the artwork, the number of pixels does not increase, all that will happen is that the artwork will become increasingly fuzzy.Illustrator is geared toward typesetting and graphic manipulation. It works in a fundamentally different way from Photoshop in that any artwork created within it is held as a series of mathematical vector outlines. If you resize a piece of artwork created in the program, the computer calculates the vector outline of the artwork and then fills the space with pixels. What this means, in real terms, is that artwork will always be absolutely pin sharp whether it’s 10% or 1500%Bringing this back to your original question, based on the kinds of pattern that you’ll be working with, I’d advise using Adobe Illustrator. I hope this is helpful.

How do I become a good T-shirt designer?

I've been designing T-Shirt Graphics in my spare time for the last 2 years :)Here are a few of my designs: Sometimes it seems so easy when you see some good T-Shirts and you think I could easily do it myself. To me it's always quite hard to come up with ideas that people would actually wear :)To get good at it, I think you need to be a good designer already. Well if you have a funny idea some people might also buy it, if it doesn't look great, but it feels better to create stuff that you would actually wear youself :)So if you're not an illustrator or graphic designer already, you got some work to do!If you got the basic skills already, one thing and I believe is the most important thing is the overall shape your design creates on the T-Shirt (square, triangle, circle etc.). You can have the most brilliant illustration with perfectly rendered details, if it doesn't look good on a shirt nobody will wear it.So if you start designing, take your sketches bring them into photoshop and create a mockup where your design is already on a shirt. STOP right there if it doesn't look good and think of another composition. If it kind of looks good from a distance (zoom out :D) then you're well on your way!Finding ideas and finding the right audience for the type of t-shirts you want to create is another challenge. Check out the different websites like designbyhumans, redbubble, threadless, etc and see what type of shirt work well on these sites!Because sometimes you can have a cool design, but just not the right audience!! However don't fool yourself if the quality of your shirts is not great, it's not a problem with the audience ;) You should also think about shirt colors you want to use and if the design will look good on those colors! There are a few good courses on Skillshare you should check out :) I hope it helps :D

Best t-shirt design website?

Does anyone know what the best create-your-own t-shirt printing site is? I want to upload a photo design to be printed on a shirt.
I already tried Zazzle, but tit sucks because the image can only be so big, and I want to create a very large design that takes up almost half of the shirt.

Which software is better for designing T-shirts, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW?

I would actually suggest neither one. The industry standard is adobe illustrator. You want your designs to be vector based so you can easily resize and edit them.Photoshop is amazing but it’s not what you want to use to create your designs. Coreldraw is a vector program but the interface is not nearly as nice to use as illustrator. You could also try Affinity designer, it has a really slick interface and is as good as illustrator unless you’re a hardcore user. For designing t-shirts it’s really nice, plus it’s not subscription based, you just buy it once and that’s it.

Best laptop for designing (tshirt)?

well, i can't give you exact name of good PC models, but i can help you with the search, you should, search for a quick and fast PC, with an HD Screen, and if you are going to use a electronic drawing board, you should buy the set together, or if you already have one you should by a PC adaptable to it. But if you are going to use graphic design programs, like photoshop i advise you to buy a Mac.
Did i help?

Which software is better for designing T-shirt prints, Photoshop or Corel Draw?

I prefer CorelDraw or Adobe Illustrator, because those support vector picture better than Adobe Photoshop when you adjust the objects shape, the pixels of it doesn’t change, so that the quality of the object doesn’t change too.Although Adobe Photoshop support bitmap image, you can use Adobe Photoshop to design T-shirt or anything is printable, but you must do this setting:Resolution: 300 ppiColor Mode: CMYKAfter finishing, save as: .png, tick Smallest/Slow and don’t tick Interlace.Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw or any Graphics Design software must be set as same as this setting for objects that will be used for printing.Because this setting is compatible for printable saved file, and it brings the best result for printing.
