It is probably not at the same level as some best Universities around the world (such as Harvard or Stanford), but it is definitely a great University — I mean it is world class.Adelaide University claims itself ranked consistently top 1% among the world. being aware that the ranking is more towards the aspects of research outcome. When you pick up a University for the purpose of future employment, learning experience, campus cultures are important too.I would tell you thatThe city of Adelaide is a great to live and enjoyThe teaching staff cultures here are very human and professional. I do mean it. They are very helpful in academic matters, I guess it is part of their knowledge transfer duties as well. It is unfortunately that you (only you) need to figure out what and why you need to consume this learning path or process.Aussie cultures are unique and great, domestic students here are both friendly and self-reliance. They probably are not that serious towards study, but it probably make sense —-some of them know what they study for and study hard at home (rather than Asians spending hours in the public libraries) andmany of them just enjoy their campus life while looking for fun (“Hey, BRO, if you take anything in your life too seriously, the outcome may not feedback you any serious results”) . This is particulars common for first year students.

The Adelaide Uni Touch Club!Join because you will meet students from different disciplines and enjoy getting fit while socialising.Touch football is a friendly and easy to learn sport, and its big advantage is that you can play in mixed teams. It is one of the few sports where men and women can play together at the elite level. This means that the club is wholly integrated with no separation between the sexes as you find in other sports. You can train with the club as much or as little as you like. If you want to get super fit it is very easy, touch is hard work at the senior level. If you want to be social and enjoy a casual run around you can do this too. There are many opportunities to develop skills you will use in your career, such as leadership, strategic planning, event management and communications. The club is a good place to stretch yourself in a supportive and safe environment, it's how I discovered my love of strategic planning and process mapping. Most of all, enjoy the club spirit of togetherness and dedication to balancing sporting ambition with fun.

How can I study nursing or medicine in Australia?

You need to be an astronically good student to study medicine in Australia. Unless your English is perfect you will not get in. Australians need 99.95% in their final school exam AND pass the UMAT and interview to get in.

Be forewarned though, that studying medicine is an expensive and uncertain option...it costs around 250-300k in fees AND the is almost zero chance you will get a visa to remain in the country post degree as there is zero chance of you being offered an intern position which is required to qualify as a doctor. International students are now expected to return to their home country for their practical years....the first group of disgruntled students are leaving now..only 1/3 were able to get intern places starting next week and that number is going to drop dramatically until 2016 when none are going to get places.
