What is your go to pseudonym or username?
I have three main usernames that I use:The Pseudo Piper: I came up with this name because I made a fake set of bagpipes and a kilt for Halloween. The name stuck, so here I am! This will be the main name I go by, especially when I make new accounts that doesn’t have this name as my username. This name is also used for one of my personality’s. Extremely Scottish, almost always p*ssed, and plays the Pseudo Pipes.Crazy Horse: Not the Native American… I’m horse crazy. This is another name that sticks to me, and it’s also another personality. And don’t you dare call me a furry because The Pseudo Piper will murder you if Crazy Horse doesn’t first. (Did I mention that our combined weapon is a LGM-188 Peacekeeper (A four-stage ICBM with a payload of ten nuclear warheads))? (And did I also mention that said payload will be directed at you??) So if you don’t want to become a shadow, don’t p*ss us off.The Bagpiper: Lead up to The Pseudo Piper. Only time you’ll see it actually being used is on the PS4. If they decide that people should be allowed to change names, I will change it to The Pseudo Piper. (He’s just a ghost that follows The Pseudo Piper around… and he’s more nice to people.)

When you are on places like Twitter, Pinterest, or Instagram, do you use your real name or a fake username? Do you think it's safer to go with the username rather than a first name?
Do employers care about your GitHub username?
It shouldn't too matter too much but I’ll give you my two cents… Change it!!GitHub’s username squatting policy is very much in your favor. They are willing to release inactive account’s usernames at a moment’s notice- just read their Name Squatting Policy. Essentially, you can find an account that has been inactive for quite some time and just click the “Contact a Human” button from that webpage to request the username to be released.I used this process to secure @gilroy on GitHub- they got back to me within hours of me requesting. Phenomenal customer service!I highly recommend this process to anyone who has any doubts about their usernames on GitHub.
Pesterchum username help?
The homestuck format for pesterchum (or trollian) username's are that it must consist of two words, the first beginning with a lower-case letter, the second beginning with upper-case. It also has to have the letters g, c, a, and t as one of the first letters. John is an exception, since he changed his to avoid being trolled. But his old account was ghostyTrickster(GT), so I suppose he counts. My pesterchum account is grandeurContemplation (GC), and if you want to use something about daydreaming and drawing, I would go with something like artisticTrance, or artisticTorpidity.
