Which Website Could You Watch The Sochi Paralympics Full

How can I watch live games Paralympic?

Because many countries exist where the broadcasting rights for the Games have not been sold, most people are able to watch the Paralympic Games at Schedule, Medals, Results & News , the official website of the International Paralympic Committee . They offer multiple streams for all sports that are live at that moment. The feed looks a lot like the one from the Olympics, as both events utilize the Olympic Broadcasting System.

How hard is it to join the Paralympics?

You do not join the Paralympics. Just like the Olympics, you qualify for it. My son is an emerging Paralympian. He works out, practices and competes regionally, nationally and internationally. If you are interested, find a regional competition and compete. Go to the IPC site and look at the A, B and Emerging times or scores. Set goals for yourself. Challenged Athletes Foundation in San Diego gives grants for equipment, travel to competitions and training once a year. The application process starts in Sept and closes in Dec. If you go to their big fundraising triathlon in Oct you can meet some Paralympians there and talk to them. Also keep an eye out for IPC events going on in your area and go and support them and cheer. Meet people. We go to Desert Challenge in AZ and the Endeavor Games in OK.So how hard is it? It depends on the sport and how many are in your classification and how good you are. I know that T42 track and field is very competitive. People train hard for years and years - just like Olympians do. Just because you may be missing a piece or have body parts that don't work like the general population, doesn't mean the competition is easier for you. Paralympians are elite athletes.

Do you think the Olympics are boring?

No, I love the Olympics. Some events I obviously find more interesting than others. For example, I could watch a ton of the snowboard sports, such as slope style, big air, and even the parallel race. Hockey is my favorite sport, I could watch that for days. I can also find myself enjoying curling.I’ll watch the aerial ski tricks.I can watch a little bit of speed skating and similar sports. More speed skating, probably, since I’ve actually done that.I can watch some ski jumping.I’m not a fan of figure skating but I’ll watch it if it’s on. Not very intently, but I won’t turn it off.Ice dancing? Not a chance. That takes all the (in my opinion) interesting aspects out of figure skating. As for the summer Olympics, I don’t really remember much of them unfortunately, but I’m sure the same principle applies.Either way, though, I look forward to the Olympics. And Paralympics.

Paralympic Games: Who is the youngest paralympian ever?

I am not 100% certain but Natalia Partyka has to be amongst the youngest ever.  As an eleven year old, she competed at the 2000 Summer Paralympics in table tennis.  (She later went on to represent Poland at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics and Paralympics.

How do I get tickets to the Rio 2016 Olympics?

There are several options to get tickets to the Rio 2016 Olympics. For non-Brazilians, the first opening will be March 2015 to enter a raffle for early tickets. This is your best opportunity (assuming you’re not from Brazil) as they expect more than half of the tickets to go to local residents. In just 24 hours after the application for tickets went live for local Brazilians - more than 750,000 applications were submitted. To buy tickets, there are also very specific re-sellers, so check the Official Reseller List before buying tickets from a 3rd party.More information on pricing can be found on the official IOC tickets page here and there's a great guidebook to the Rio 2016 Olympics on Amazon to find more information about the Games and the city.

What do the British think of the Olympics being held in their country?

I think it has been great! No I havn't lived in London, so I can understand some people's frustrations with the mass of people, however, it is a once in a life time occurance and only for a couple of weeks of the year.Yes it cost a lot of money, but we have made lots of money through tourism too and showing the world what Great Britian to do! Also, I knew that the organisation and the show Britian would put on would be spectacular, but how smoothly everything ran and its great success seriously impressed me! Proud to be British during the Olympics!Personally I think the Olmypics has been brilliant. It has made everyone from GB excited and involved. I do hope that this carries on even once the Olympics is over, but feel that the sense of community spirit has been all worth it.I would normally walk through London and people ignore you, to the extent where they do not even say please or thank you, completely in their own world. Coming into London during the Olympics, it is like walking into another place. It is buzzing, everyone is smiling, happy, helpful and some even have a chat! Excited for a few more weeks of it now, for the Paralympics!!!

Olympics, WOW moments of history. What are some Very signifcant things that happned at the olympics?

The very first Olympics was won by a dude named Coroibos. At that time the Olympics were only one event. The race. It was a sprint of about 140 meters. So the 100 and the 200 are the most important events in the Olympics. That makes Usain Bolt the Olympic champion, overall, since he won both.

Here is some other Olympics trivia that I know:

Nero made violin-playing into an Olympic event, so he could compete and, of course, be declared winner by judges who didn't wanna be thrown to the lions.

Mary Lou Retton is short even for a gymnast, 4'11" in 1984.

John Ngugi in Seoul in 1988 was one of the only men ever to win the 5000 with a surge tactic. With the pace slow, he decided to make a huge surge and opened up a 50 meter lead with still 3000 m left. A very risky tactic, it paid off because there was still nobody in the pack willing to take the pace. Eventually one dude tried to catch him and got to within 30 meters, but then he was outkicked for his efforts.

In Atlanta in 1996, the identity of the torch-lighter was kept secret until he stepped out to light the torch. They would only reveal that it was a former US olympian. Nobody could guess who. Then out walks Muhammad Ali, who was still able to light the torch despite the effects of Parkinson's.

In Rome, or was it Mexico City, Abebe Bikila of Ethiopia won the Olympic marathon without any shoes on. Later he said he had shoes, but he couldn't find them, and had to run barefoot instead.

Where and from when can I buy tickets for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games?

The official committee announced that they’ll start selling the tickets from the Spring of 2019.They’re releasing the website information to get the tickets in the Spring. Also some physical ticket shops will be opened in 2020. It seems like not much information on the ticket sales for foreigners are announced yet.You can find more details on this page.
