Which Word Is Nicer

What is a nice word for "mole"?

Old Mister Happy....
I'm not looking for a perfect synonym for mole.
I know that bumps & slender and obviously not the same things as pimples & skinny.... But despite that, people still use more "gentle" words when describing things that people may feel insecure about...

I guess you can say its "female-speak" because females are more likely to be empathetic about other people's feelings than men, generally.

Oh, and one more thing. I am well educated. You don't have to insult me because you don't understand my question. You should change your name to "Old Mister Cranky"

What is a nice word for whore?

A "tart" is a slightly nicer way of saying slut/whore. A coquette would be a big flirt. A "Loose woman." I would go with your best bet as a woman who was known as being quite "Promiscuous." Bonus points because that's a pretty big word. :p All mean the same thing though!

ENGLISH/GRAMMAR TEACHERS, HELP NEEDED!! My boss says the word "nicer" is not proper english, is this correct?

Hello,

Don't worry, 'nicer' is perfectly correct English.

Here are the rules for making the comparatives of adjectives:

If the adjective has one syllable, add 'er' (or just add 'r' if there is already an 'e' at the end of the adjective, also sometimes we double the final consonant).
For example: clean > cleaner

If the adjective has two syllables and ends in 'y', add 'ier'.
For example: pretty > prettier

If the adjective has two or more syllables and doesn't end in 'y', use 'more'.
For example: beautiful > more beautiful

Hope that's useful!

What is the difference between the words nice and good?

"Nice" is one of those words that was charged with meaning in 18th century English.  It connoted some things that are out of fashion today - such as judgement and discrimination. If your behavior was "nice," it was based on good principles and consideration for others. If your clothing was "nice," it was neat, clean, and highly suitable to the occasion and your station in life.If your taste was "nice," it had delicacy and nuance, rejecting anything that was crude, over-embellished, or inappropriate. Some of these connotations are aesthetic, and others are ethical. To this day, some of these meaning survive, in the sense that "nice," when applied to a person, still implies that he/she is pleasant and kind. On the other hand, "good," when applied to a person, has powerful ethical connotations.  A good person is virtuous.  Doing what is good can sometimes require a person to engage in behavior that other perceive as unpleasant, disruptive, or impolite.  For example, a good person might trespass on conventional rules of etiquette to call attention to injustice, suffering, or evil.  It's not "nice" to do that, especially in the presence of those who might be responsible for perpetuating injustice, suffering, or evil  - however, it might be a good thing to do.

Nicer words for penis (writing a story)?

I'm trying to write out a sex scene and I need a word to use other than penis. I want it to be less...I don't know...maybe dirty sounding? If you know what I mean. Is there any words you've seen in a story in the place of penis that just make the scene seem a lot...prettier?

What is another word (a nice word) for the word blind?

There is nothing wrong, unkind or politically incorrect, with the word ‘blind. If it is about an object; a blind corner when driving, what is wrong with that? It means you can't see or, just as importantly, your vision is limited. If the word is being applied to a person then, again, there is nothing wrong with the word- if they are, in fact, blind and cannot see at all.It may be, for instance that they are visually impaired; not blind but their vision is limited. Most so called ‘blind’ people are VI so might be worth checking whether they are totally blind (and if they are then it is a statement of fact not an unkindness) or visually impaired so they have some sight but probably need some form of additional assistance that sighted people do not need.If you know exactly what you are dealing with then you are more likely to be able to offer the level of support a ‘blind’ person needs which is better than looking for a more suitable label to apply to them.

What is a nice word for taking the p*ss its for an essay so it has to be 'safe' lol?

TAKING LIBERTY'S!! LOL

How did the word "nice" change its meaning from "foolish" to what it is today?

Someone else has probably a nicer and more exact explanation compared to my nice one.Nice describes an outward appearance/behavior. Then (in the pre-modern period) a simpleton, someone who perhaps can't speak (at all or poorly), someone you “step on”. A nice guy was (is) a quiet/submissive and perhaps aloof individual, these were undesirable traits. In the modern period, the behaviors that closely describes a nice individual now became desirable—modesty, timidity, discreteness.Nice never truly changed meaning, our opinion of nice [behavior] did. Nice has even begun to return to negativity, being [too] nice is undesirable to many (especially for women about men). Inaction. Someone who do nothing to avoid doing something negative, as they don't know what to actually do—nice still means this. Prefered over the idiot, who always speaks, and mostly only about themselves.(It also had a meaning that meant something “dangerous” {ambiguous}, school shooters are always described as nice, similarly someone about to do something [bad] behave overly nice beforehand.)Nice=quiet simpleton; in its most rudimentary meaning: Simple. (The quiet were equated with stupid and simple, and often were—and often still are, in some ways).Less is more.“The outward sign of a dull man and a wise man are the same, and so are the outward signs of a frivolous and witty man.”
