Which Would Be The Better Choice For Me In Pg Mba Or Mca Or Msc.or Else Ms In Uk .

Which one is better for a job and salary prospect: BSc, MSc or B.Tech?

Honestly If I will say go for B.Tech over BCA & MCA.Why ?1) First of all it's course duration :B.Tech = 4 YrsBCA+MCA = 6Yrs(for Maximum colleges , if you are doing from IGNOU then it will finish in 5Yrs)so here you have to study 2 extra years and yes you won't get any benefit over B.tech.2)Value of courses :currently in our society if you do B.tech then only you can called as engineer if it is BCA+MCA then also you are not going to be held as engineer title.3)Job aspects. Here also if you are doing B.Tech then you will always get preference over MCA students. I don't know why it is but all companies also will treat you less qualified than B.tech students if you are having MCA degree.I faced same situation in campus placement , IT companies came to recruit IT people and they are not allowing MCA candidates to attend drive and yes they allowed all B.Tech trades Students. Now think how any chemical engineering studends or civil eng. student is more qualified for a IT job than a MCA Students. So at every step B.Tech degree holders are getting some benefit. In Job also maximum company having the same package for both degrees only few might be giving some more to MCA's candidate that too few %ge extra only. But Yes if you have good knowledge then no one will stop you to rise in the field you will face problem only in starting after some experience it all depend on your knowledge. After such experience no one will ask also regarding your degrees. One more thing : If you are currently perusing BCA then please don't stop at BCA go for MCA ,you will have more chance to get job after MCA but very few after BCA and that too not at all good opportunity . Maximum you will get job after BCA for Data entry operator or tech support , BPO etc which is not going to help you any more in future.Hope it clears , and pardon for any grammatical error . :)All the Best!

Can I go in for an M.Tech. course after completing my B.Sc. in Computer Science?

When you used the term "M.Tech", my answer will be "No". There is no such M.Tech program in my Knowledge in India (since M.Tech is an Indian degree nomenclature ) which admits students right after BSc in CS. However, MSc and MCA students can always apply for M.Tech in India. In India BTech is considered equivalent to MSc or MCA in the same domain. If you are considering pursuing an Engineering degree masters in US, then you must have an engineering bachelors background, else for master of science, a full-time/regular 4 years' undergraduate program is important. If you are interested to pursue masters in UK/EU colleges, there is a good possibility of pursuing MEng after your completion of BSc. But not certainly MSc. Since the UK/EU students who have completed BA/BSc of 3 years and 1 year of full-time course-work with research or MEng after that, are eligible for MSc in Advanced CS (ACS) program and MSc by Research and MRes and MPhil Programs. Although I would suggest you to go to the individual university international students' entry requirement page and check what are all the options for India. Similarly, eligibility for scholarship is also important as tuition fee is pretty high there! In general, for SDE/SE/SD job i.e. developer's role, degree does not matter. Your skills, expertise and experience will serve the purpose. But for MNCs, you need to have 60%+ marks to sit for the aptitude exam.B.Tech in CSE or BSc in CS does not matter much. The institute, department, faculties, research environment and funding are the things that matter the most. E.g. a BSc in CS and Mathematics from CMI is far superior to any B.Tech in CSE from a private engineering college. But B.Tech in CSE from any government engineering college/state university e.g. JU,DU,CU,UoH/technical university/IITs/IIITs/NITs/private colleges like BITS Pilani/IIIT-H/PES University/SRM/Manipal karnataka CS/EC/EECS/CSE/ICT/IT/ICE department is always a better option.

Can I do Mca at abroad after doing Bca from India?

I wish to clarify a few things first before I start answering your question.MCA is a very India specific thing. This course will not be found anywhere else in the world but India.MCA is a 3 year Master’s degree which was conceived in the early 80’s keeping in mind the growing demand for Computer Application Programmers. India had only a handful of engineering colleges which were producing only a handful of Computer Engineer. So the basic idea was to get all the non engineering graduates BSc/B Com who had studied Maths into a 3 year course to train them in Computers and make them IT industry readyHence it was a demographic need of the 80’s that led to the conceiving of the MCA course. And that’s why its unique to India. And this course will seldom be available outside India. You can although do a MS (Master of Science) in Computer Sciences abroad. MS is usually a 2 year course (but there are a couple of university’s in UK & Australia that offer a 1 Year MS also). Also please note, that the eligibility requirement for the MS course will be 12+4 = 16 years of education. In your case, since you have done your BCA you have only 12+3 = 15 years of education. You will need to do 1 year of MCA or MSc to even be eligible for admission to MS courses abroad. If you do manage to do that, then you will have the following to do’sUS CollegesTOEFL - Test of english as a foreign Language - required for MS in USAGRE - Graduate Record Exam - Computer Based aptitude test which has sections in Vocabulary, Quantitative & Analytical Essay.UK & Australian CollegesYou will need to give the IELTS exam (its similar to TOEFL)Hope this helps.Best of luck!

What degree should I do after MCA for further studies?

You suppose not to any .Until and unless you want to go in teaching as profession Where people like to go for Phd or MTech .I did my MCA in 2006 and had a similar  thought to go for MTech after that, but I didn't .If you chose MTech ,the next 2 year will be again a master degree with some specialisation and now you want to go for some professional job and you will be treated as fresher. But if you go for IT job after MCA  , you will have 2 year of  Experience which is more important. I have even seen people with MTech degree from a normal college and not have any upper hand as such and giving interview with MCA ,ME and BE people .I even took those interview lot of time and asked why you took ME or Mtech root after BE when you are standing at same place.  MTech will not help you until you get job for research work.So my suggestion is don't do any other degree and join some IT company if you don't want a research job.Eexperience really matter and having upper hand always .
