Which Young Talent Today Do You Think Will Wrestle Through Their 40s

Wrestling Legends Disrespected?

I see a constant barrage by younger wrestling fans *I'm 18 myself* who constantly complain about wrestlers like HBK, Undertaker, Ric Flair *although he recently retired* and others still wrestling. They're too old, they suck. Frankly, if it wasn't for these "old dudes" you all wouldn't be watching the Cena packed WWE you see today. Undertaker is 40 plus years old and he's probably in better shape then a lot of teenagers. You all preach how great the rock is, the dude wrestled what on and off for about 5-6 years in the WWE and he's better then people like HBK or Ric Flair? Bull crap. He left before he got any boo boos and went Hollywood on us. Age or not, these guys still go out there every night and give it their all, and after all these years are still great wrestlers. Grow up and stop loving wrestlers like rock, and cena just cuz they have great mic skills, takes more then that to be "great". Anyone elses opinions, I know I'm venting a bit, lol.

Why do so many wrestlers die young?

Well the Ultimate warrior was just found dead and the cause of death has not been released at the the minute so my question is, why do so many wrestlers die young? I am not talking about the ones who die from heart attacks, there are also a lot who die from suicide and sometimes even murder. Why do they commit suicide?

Who is more talented Stone Cold or Kurt Angle?

I am a huge Stone Cold fan but in this case, I am going to say the more talented guy is Kurt Angle. Before I give the reason why, it is nothing against Austin. Austin is very talented wreslter but I am going to go with Angle on this. Kurt Angle was a freak. He won the gold medal in the Olympics. Then he wanted to try professional wrestling. He obviously had wrestling background but not really any professional wreslting training/background. However, he came in and he won the WWE Championship ni his first year. He became a star. He is one of those guys that could go in the ring and have a great match with so many different wrestlers. He was entertaining on hte mic. Now he is in his mid-40s. He is older and more beat up but when he was with TNA, he consistently put on a show and was still over. Angle will go down as one of the most talented guys ever and just a machine when it comes to wrestling because of how quick he went form an Olympian to a professional wrestler.

At what point did people start hating John Cena?

Okay, I'm 17 and I used to be the biggest WWE and Cena fan when I was younger. I stopped watching wrestling though around 2007 I think, and John Cena was still loved. Now, I came back to watching wrestling like last year, so when I hear Cena getting booed, it surprised me. Also, it was weird because a lot of wrestlers I knew left, and there were a lot of new faces lol. But when and why did people start hating Cena.

BQ: and what's with Y2J losing all the damn time?

Should you consider wrestling if you are in your 30's and never wrestled before?

I have an opportunity to wrestle. It is free. It is with a nearby college.

The problem is: I am in my 30's and I have never wrestled a match in my life.

I do have martial arts experience though. I have a cummulative of 6 years experience.

I have taken Judo for 5 months, Submission Wrestling for 6 months. So, I have a little experience with grappling.

I thought about doing this last year and attended one of their wrestling meetings. Needless to say I was 2nd oldest there. The oldest was a professor who was probably 10 years older than me. The others were college age.

The professor assured me it would be ok despite my age and lack of experience.

I felt uncomfortable and out of place. Am I just being too much of a pansy? Can I make up for my age and lack of experience with college age guys that have wrestling experiecne?

I am NOT competing against these guys! I was informed I would be mostly wrestling against guys my age. But even though that levels the age thing they still probably have a whole lot of experience.

Is it worth it? What can I do to even be competitive with sparring with these guys? Do I just have to accept I'll be the weak link and be ritually beat upon?

Who would win between aj styles or Bret the hitman hart?

If the question is who wins If a match takes place is, then probably Hitman as a veteran would put AJ over. But If it is who is the better wrestler, then Its a though one.Hitman is a technical genius, He is in a position few can achieve. He is incredible. No doubt. A Legend. But on the other hand, AJ is one of the Few names who become a top name of 3 of 4 BIG Wrestling Companies. He is a full package, He can do everything. HighFlyer, Technician,Great on the Mic.Close but AJ gets this one.

Why do footballers retire in their mid-30s whereas wrestlers (WWE), who worn out their bodies week in, week out, are still active till their late 40s?

Believe it or not football is tougher than professional wrestling. After Bill Goldberg retired from football due to injury he was able to become a wrestler. In football the players wear heavy equipment which on the one hand protects them but it also makes them more dangerous to others. In pro wrestling there are injuries but they tend not to be as severe and also wrestlers are much more careful about avoiding injuring themselves and others. At one time, early in the 20th century, wrestling was actually real and injuries were much more prevalent. Most wrestlers have nagging injuries they work through. Usually their opponents will work accordingly around that injury. No such courtesy in football. When Andre the Giant wrestled at Wrestlemania III in 1987 his was actually working with severe back pain. He and his opponent, Hulk Hogan, worked around that to put on a good show. In football if you have severe back pain you will be benched. In football when somebody is tackled, the tackler is usually running at full throttle and will hit with all of his force. It’s football and you are supposed to do that. In wrestling there are football like tackles but no one exerts full force like they do in football. If you do you will probably pay for that back in the locker room. Wrestlers who hit others with full power are called stiff workers and quite often they get fired.

Was Booker T a good wrestler in the Attitude Era and is he **** now compared to before?

Book wrestled WCW in the mid and late 90's so it doesn't really count as "Attitude Era" considering it wasn't WWF product Attitude was a WWF banner for the era. But I digress.

Book's still good. He was better when he was younger, but his last few days as an active talent in TNA, along with his run as King Booker, resulted in some really surprisingly good matches. I think he even pulled off the old Houston Hangover in a few.
