How do you fix an iPhone that has a white screen?
When your iPhone displays only white on its screen – not any icons, not the Apple logo, nothing else – this is clearly a problem. There are three steps you can take to try to fix it.1. Do this by holding down the hold button at the top right of the phone until a red slider appears onscreen. IPhone screen went black after I dropped it?
I accidentally dropped my iPhone from a table-top and when I tried turning it on, the screen went blank. I pressed the home and the reset button simultaneously for 10sec to restart it but it still shows no response. However, when I try pressing the top right side of the LCD screen and pressing the home+reset button, then the apple sign appears for a while then goes away. Also, the phone rings when someone calls and also charges when plugged into wall charger. What can I do to fix it? If it is a hardware problem, where will be the best place to get it fixed? This iPhone is jailbreaked to be used with t-mobile plan.... thanks a lot!
IPhone 5 white screen of death?
I was just texting someone, and I got the white screen of death. I have tried holding down the lock button and home button at the same time, but since my lock button is broken, it didn't work. I also tried to do that same thing with the lock button shortcut thing, still didn't work. I have plugged it into my computer and tried resetting it, but since apparently find my iPhone is on, I cant reset it. anything else you suggest to make this go away? I'm going to try to take it into either the apple store or the verizon store tomorrow.

They are both the exact same size and length so it does not matter if you mix them up. They are interchangeable.Gently slide up the back plate by applying a bit of pressure along the bottom with your thumbs and sliding upwards.Now lift off the back plate and set it aside.Remove the battery and grounding clipUsing your #00 Phillips screwdriver, remove the two screws holding the battery in place.These screws are different lengths so make sure you remember which one goes where. The one that is slightly larger is the bottom screw.There is a tiny grounding clip underneath the battery clip where the first screw is located. Use your spudger tool or finger to remove it before prying the clip up. My iPhone has water in the screen. How do I remove it?
Its a common problem faced by every one, in order to get rid of these droplets you need to perform some tedious job. Now first shack your phone and listen carefully for watery sounds if there don't charge the phone as it may burst open, carefully open the phone by removing two screws at the bottom and pull off the back carefully and gently with a suck_sion cup once you open it let dry in the sun. If you think its difficult then donttake chances contact apple care for help yes they charge you but they will take all care of it no worries. Sad news is you stay in Philippines and I am from India or else I would have personally repaired your phone, because I did the same with my iPhone 6s and its working fine now.
My iphone screen cracked and now has black lines going through it?!?
I dropped my phone and the screen now has this fuzzy look with all different color lines on the screen. The touch censors stilll work. So will i only need to get the screen replaced or is the phone destroyed?

Listen to me. Your phone is lost. Ill tell you why. You heard someone text you which means the phone is on. You leaving the phone on allowed water to pass through the circuit board and it fried the connectors if the screen went black and soon the battery will be gone. Rice won't help because water has already made it. I had a iPod I washed and it had detergent in the screen. I turned it off and left it in rice for a week and the detergent is gone and it works perfectly. When the phone is submerge red it's pretty much gone

What the black dot besides the earpiece of the iPhone 5 white?
This is the Proximity Sensor, previously located on top of the ear piece on models such as the iPhone 4/4S. It is more less prominent on the Black model because it blends in the the black glass, while it is a lot more visible on white. This isn't to say that it is completely hidden on the black model, because when shining a light onto the area you can see a faint lens under the glass. I hoped that I have helped :)
