White Screen On My Rca 7in Tablet .

White screen on my RCA 7in tablet...?

I've dropped my RCA tablet and the screen went completely white. While it happened music was playing and continued to play just fine. I dont see any obvious cracks either. when I got it one of the screws of the two thatare on one end was stripped, I tried to tighten it when i noticed it was loose but it didn't so I just left it in and it eventually fell out. after dropping it, it opened up slightly but the other screw continued to keep it shut. I've cleaned out the inside of laptops and smart phones and other electronics but not a tablet. What is likely to happen if I open it up to see what happened inside when I dropped it? What is likely causing the screen to be completely white if I can't see any obvious cracks?

Why does my DVD player say "unknown disc"? How do I fix it?

It could be that the player is wearing out. The Unknown disc problem might be a sign that the laser has worn out, probably due to using cheaper components in the construction. Now-a-days players use cheap components and they don't last. Players no longer have cooling fans in them, which means they have to rely on air cooling. If your DVD player is not in a very well ventilated place, it could be dying because of heat damage. In any event, cleaning is extremely unlikely to help it, but you could try that as a last resort. You can try cleaning the lens with a lens cleaner disc. If you don't mind taking the player apart to some extent, you can take the outer shell off and try cleaning the lens directly (but carefully) with a good swab and cleaning solution. Sometimes, the only thing causing a player to stop recognizing discs is a dirty laser lens. Take a cotton swab and dip it in alcohol/spirit/after shave. Make sure shake it off until the swab is damp, but not dripping wet. Gently use it to clean the lens. Then use the other end to dry the lens off. Remain gentle at all times.Additionally you can try to calibrate the lens using the 2 presets as in the image below. Use a Philips screwdriver to turn the pots counter-clockwise in very small amounts until the DVD starts recognizing the disks. If that doesn't work then it could be a problem with the lens its self, Or could be a problem with the power supply to the laser.Still having issues, as i final tip, you can try changing the lens or the entire Lens + CCM Unit. Changing the CCM unit eliminates the possibility of a problematic motor/s causing the issue. Just don't be surprised if you have to buy a new player.

My phone got wet and touch is not working. What should I do?

Below are some of the tips you should follow when your phone gets wet.Switch the phone off. Once you take out the phone, switch it off. This is very important to prevent short circuits within the phone body. Remove the batteries carefully and let it dry.Remove the SD Cardand the SIM Card.Lightly Dry Off Your Water Damaged Phone and Accessories. Use a completely dry cloth to lightly dab the wet phone and all the components you took out. Do not wipe. This will just cause the water to spread around. Also, don’t use a hair dryer to dry the phone. This may damage the internal components.Put Your Water Damaged Cell Phone in Rice for Three Days. The rice will absorb the liquid from the phone and will also dry it more quickly. Just make sure to use dry rice and feel free to put it in to a Ziploc bag or container.Once you’ve waited three days for your phone to dry put it back together and try to turn it on. If it doesn’t work then try replacing the battery. If that doesn’t work take it to the store and see if there is anything else you can do.
