Who Can Give The Title Of A Specific Movie

Can movie titles be reused?

or is this something they can copyright?

I have a movie idea which would be perfect with a specific title, BUT a small, not very known movie has already used the title. Can I still use that title or would I have to pay royalties if it is copyrighted (if it can be copyrighted)?

List all the movies you can with the word "adventure" in the title?

The Adventures of Tintin
The Adventure of Robin Hood
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
The Adventures of Baron Munchausen
The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland
Tarzan's New York Adventure
The Poseidon Adventure
Plymouth Adventure
The Darwin Adventure
Arabian Adventure
Digimon Adventure
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure
Adventure in Diamonds

How do I find out if I can legally use a certain title for my movie?

David covers the U.S. perspective very well. But as a broader answer, I should add that only blockbusters with merchandising likelihood tend to register a trademark. There are tons of movies which have the same title.Movies have such a short runtime, overlapping a title from five year (or even 50!) isn't really a commercial threat to the old movie. In general, you don't really have to worry about it.If you just want to see if the title has been used (registered or not) IMDB is a great resource. And unlike a trademark registry, it's international.

How do I request a specific movie title for a one night only event at your local cinema?

That would be the theater management, they would contact the distributor to get a print for an event. Unless you are prepared to pay for the print rental though there isn't much chance they are going to bring in a print for a single show. You might need to organize an event and demonstrate that you have a large enough paying audience to cover the costs and make up for the loss of revenue they would make from showing a current run film in that time. You'll probably have better luck with a small independent theater than a large chain but either is possible. Contact a few and find out what you need to do to make it happen.

Movie titles with sexy black women in it?

I am looking for a movie with very hot black women like sexy looking BLACK women, not anything racist it's just a preference and yes I am a white guy. I need to know some movie titles with A LOT of sexy black women in it, much thanks!

How do you find a movie title if you only remember details of the plot?

This is bound to be tricky in that there are far more plots than movies ;-)Others have suggested searching IMDB with cast or character names (if you can remember them) or plot keywords but I would suggest that other great resource - friends. If you can remember someone you knew around the time you saw that movie - even if you didn't see it with them - ask them. "Remember when we working on the Jones project and there was that film about the guy who turned out to be a CIA triple agent but we only found out after his ID was found in the alligators stomach? What was that called?" Human memeory search functions aren't as precise as databases but they can cope with very ropy data!

Title to an 80's movie where a couple moves into neighborhood with strict home owners associationlaws/rules.?

Was this movie a comedy or a drama/thriller? If it was the latter, then maybe it was The Colony (1995) (TV) with John Ritter. I never saw the movie so I don't know if he painted his whole house or not. He painted the window trim purple--according to a TRIVIA GOOF statement I found.
Here's the movie plot: Thriller about a man (John Ritter) who, along with his family, moves from a crime-ridden inner city suburb to a self-proclaimed violence-free haven overseen by a godlike businessman. However, they soon discover that life in The Colony is much more sinister than it first appeared. Follow-up comments on IMDb Board talk about a strict homeowner's asociation (?).

I need to find out if a certain porn movie title is a legit , professionaly produced film.?

You can always go to imdb.com and check out who produced it, then do your homework from there. If they're professionally produced, there should be a website or other contact information from the producer/production management.

If two letters swapped places in a popular movie title, what would be the new plot?

In our story, we face the fate of a poor old man named Frederick Carlson. He currently lives alone, not because he doesn’t have any family (which he does, 11 brothers and 2 sisters), or friends, but because of his terrible stench. Anyone who encounters him faces certain nasal annihilation, for a terrible sickness has been bestowed upon him at birth, causing the first layer of his skin to be constantly rotting and peeling away (like leprosy, but not as bad. Kinda.)One day, tired of complaints about the stench from his house, the city decides to evict him. One eviction notice later, our smelly character has a bilion balloons strapped to his house, determined to move it somewhere else. Before he can leave, a local Girl Scout approaches him and wants to help the elderly. You see, Russeletta is hard of smelling, so she doesn’t understand why everyone dislikes being around Fred. Fred despises the child at first, but as he flies away with his house, he realises that Russeletta is still aboard his flying home and (grudgingly) allows her to accompany him.Adventure ensues, as Frederick and Russeletta find plenty of adventures spreading stench and possible disease to all the corners of the planet, and causing everyone to pinch their noses and contract low-stage leprosy wherever they go.Sound like a familiar one? Yea, I liked PU too.
