Who Can We Call A Racist Today

Does being called a racist today remind you of the witch-hunts of Salem?

Its just like the Salem witch hunts. You disagree with a the presedent or go against the grain in anyway and people will try to connect it to racisum. It reminds me of Salem. "Look the women is not our religon shes a witch!!" look "The man disagreed with the majority, hes a witch!!! " Its the same thing. there are no facts to these accusations. These people never used racial slurs that are being accused. Because you call someone a liar? How does that even link to racisum? Connecting it is a long stretch! If people connect it to a racial slur that is thier own sick minds. But the fact Carter is screaming racisum, is just another Salem witch hunt. Just like those in Salem had no defense with all the fingers pointed at them, niether do those accused of being racist. I think that is why we cam up with "Innocent till proven guilty!" If people want equality and unity, they need to stop the false accusations! Its causing major resentment .

Is it racist to say 'Indians'? Why do we have to call them Native Americans?

It goes without saying that “Indians” refers to people from India. The name “Indian” stems from the ignorance of early European explorers. At the time that Columbus arrived in the Americas, it was pretty common for Europeans to call all of south and east Asia as “Indian”. Thinking that he had arrived in the Indian Ocean (actually, he was in the Caribbean), he declared the people he met to be “indians” and he called the Carribean the “West Indies”. The names stuck for hundreds of years, in part to have a laugh at Columbus’ expense, but also because nobody had another name.By the beginning of the 17th century, people had had enough contact with the indigenous people and understood that there were numerous different peoples and cultures and started using their proper names, but “Indian” still stuck as a generic term for both people native to the Americas and people native to south and east Asia.None of the indigenous peoples ever referred to themselves as “indians” and in the 1960s and 1970s there was a public discussion about what could be used as an alternative to “Indian”, which was based on a historical error and snide poking fun at Columbus. The two most popular names to generically refer to indigenous American peoples were “American Indian” and “Native American”. While more clear that “Indian” the term “American Indian” was only a slight improvement since it still had “Indian” in it, which made no sense. The problem with the term “Native American” was that in the 19th century it was a term used by people of European descent who had settled in the Americas many generations ago to differentiate themselves from recent immigrants; the term was originally racist, but used to differentiate white Anglo-Saxon protestants from Irish and German Catholics. Today, I believe “Native American” is the preferred name to reflect collectively to all people groups displaced by European immigrants. If you are referring to specific people group, that group’s name is preferred (e.g., Apache, Choctaw, Ojibwe, etc.)I would say that it’s not “racist” to refer to someone that’s a Native American as Indian per se, it’s simply ignorant; no negative connotation or insult is intended. It can also be confusing. When I hear the word “Indian”, I think of someone from India.

Is it okay to call a racist German a "Nazi"? Do Germans call racist people Nazi in general?

It’s OK to call someone a Nazi if they self-identify as one, or if they are a member of some National Socialist movement. Believe it or not, some people actually wear the labels “Nazi” and/or “National Socialist” as a badge of honor.Just because someone is a racist doesn’t mean they are a Nazi, however. Calling a racist German a “Nazi” just because they’re racist could be construed as an ethnic slur. The vast majority of modern Germans, even ones who have some less than enlightened attitudes on race, hate the Nazis for the stain they put on Germany. This is why pretty much anything to do with Nazism is banned in modern Germany. There’s nothing good to say about any form of racism, but call a racist a racist, and save the appellation “Nazi” for people who actually are Nazis. Like Jens Böttiger pointed out in his answer, Winston Churchill was a racist, but he was also the leader of the world crusade to suppress Nazism.

This White Guy called me a Monkey, I'm black.. is that racist?

Yeah. He's a d1ck. The 'N' word is an incredibly ugly one. I do occasionally call my kid a 'cheeky monkey' but that's because he's four. Confront this guy, but don't do anything you end up in jail for- this guy might be an a55hole, but it's not illegal to be an a55hole. It is, however, illegal to kerb-stomp a55holes.

Why do alt-righters say that calling them out on their racism is 'the real racism'?

Because they are too dumb to realize that tactics that we all left behind on the elementary school playground fail to work with adults. The statement is, of course, ridiculous (“I know you are but what am I?”).Then there is the lovely argument that the alt-right is NOT racist because they are “not discriminatory”. Let’s use a dictionary, shall we? (Merriam Webster, even though we know they are they alt-left):Racism: : a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular raceDiscrimination: the practice of unfairly treating a person or group of people differently from other people or groups of peopleSo my goodness! Indeed, they might not discriminate… but they’re still racists. Definition of racism says nothing about discrimination. Oops! Another bad argument from someone who does not know the definition of words.Let us take it one further - “a group cannot be a racist”. That’s a good one. Well, the stated goals and political ideas of the group is “a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race”. And groups are made up of people, who tend not to participate in groups unless they agree with the stated goals and political attitudes of the group.Okay, well, pure souls, how about “alt-right”?Alt-right: people with extreme conservative views, including extreme views about race, who reject ordinary politics and use the internet to spread their opinions. Alt-right is an abbreviation for "alternative right":The alt-right rejects mainstream conservatism, believing that it under-represents the interests of white nationalists.Pretty hard to wiggle out of this one. If you disagree with all those things - you’re not alt-right. The alt-right probably doesn’t like you at all. Some people are not very bright.

Does much of today's racism originate from the new age movement of Helena Blavatsky?

Do you believe much of the racism today stems from the new age movement of Helena Blavatsky and the new age movement and that she believed in the fantasy called atlantis ruled by the Aryans who were fair skinned and that the Freemasons knights Templars and rosicrutions have secretly were deemed by Blavatsky as the protectors of the aryan race and that America is the new atlantis according to sir Francis bacon and that there are tree races only white(supposedly Caucasian Dravidian which can be Indian mestizo Arab ect then there is yellow- Asian, and so called black-AFRICAN and people especially in the U S have been segregated and encouraged to marry along these satanic esoteric ideas whether they believe it or not and much if these same ideas of the Thule society inspired Adolf Hitler
