FaceTime static? (iPhone 4 with iPad 2)?
Okay, so whenever I FaceTime with my friend (I have an iPhone 4 and he has an iPad2) I hear nothing but static, but my friend can hear me perfectly. When he screams into the mic, I can hear that though. It's not my phone because I can perfectly FaceTime with other friends. I don't know about him however. Our FaceTime chats were perfect before; no static or delays until a few weeks ago when this started happening. Any way I can fix this? Thanks :)
What happens when you Facetime a phone other than the iPhone?
If the person you're calling does not have an iPhone, then Facetime will not work. As soon as you hit Facetime dial, Facetime will begin only for disconnected beeping to sound and a box will pop up, telling you "______ is not available for Facetime", the iPhone is able to detect when it is dialing another iPhone 4/4S capable of Facetime or if it is just dialing another cell phone.
