Less well-known in general are his tactics for staying in power. Nazi Germany saw a systematic redundancy of responsibility. There were often two competing authorities for most things. In fact, parts of the German military were in secret talks with the British foreign and intelligence service urging them to declare war against Germany!We all know what happens next: The Western powers give in to Hitler's demand in Munich in one of the worst political blunders of the 20th century.
