Who do you think would win in a fight? A boxer, or a karate guy?

I'm just thinking that I would rather be in ring with Bruce Lee, rather than Mike Tyson. It seems to me that Boxers are more aggressive and massive, while karate fighters are more tactical and quick. I think I could handle a 360 degree kick to face from a 150 lb man better than an upper jab from a 250 lb man. Any fighters out there, please enlighten me on this matter.

Who do you think will win the fights at UFC 209?

Woodley v. Thompson 2Okay the last time we saw Woodley v Thompson the fight ended in a rare draw. A spectacular match that deserved Fight of the Night - even if the 1st round was a bit slow.A lot of people seem to think Wonderboy won - I’m not one of those people. Main event can go either way for me.Update:No complaints on who won, but this fight had a severe case of sequelitis.Nurmy v. FergusonI’m gonna go with Nurmy on this one. No analysis or anything - just a big fan.Update:GODAMMIT!Evans v. KellyI’m gonna go with Evans. He won gold in the past for a reason. Even if the tale of the tape puts a lot of the numbers of Kelly’s side, it’s only because Evans has more fights.Update:I’m really ehhhh on this one. I know Rashad is capable of more, and a Split Dec is the worst kind of decision for me.Vannata v. TeymurTeymur. I haven’t seen much of these guys, but I like the states on Teymur.Update:Yes! Now that’s a fight. Easily FOTN if it weren’t for Darrell Elkins.Overeem v. HuntHunt all the way!Update:DAMMIT! DAMMIT! DAMMIT!

Why do some people think GGG won the fight against Canelo (Canelo seemed to have landed way more powerful punches and wasn't throw off at all by GGG who seemed more tired)?

I didnt see what you saw my friend, Im afraid.Canelo started brightly - but was being caught often by round 3, GGG dominated the middle rounds with constant pressure, and Canelo relied on counter punching and circling to his left (to avoid that big left jab), he came on in rounds 10–12 but he threw everything at GGG and Golovkin didnt budge once. His gameplan was really to goad GGG into a fight, then counter punch off the ropes, nick it on points - pre-talk of KO-ing GGG was BS, he would never stand toe to toe with GGG, thats silly, so the strategy was very sensible and nearly worked (my gut feeling is Golden Boy really didnt want this result). However he had the same issue most have; he wasnt big or strong enough to stop the pressure coming forward, and tired badly at the end.GGG also tired and when Canelo caught his second wind he fought crisply at the end, but you have to take the titles off a champion and he didn’t do that. His style is very ‘Vegas friendly’ but if he had got a UD there would have been a lot of issues, so a draw suits everyone as GGG keeps his belts, Canelo can say ‘GGG never beat me’ and they can set up a rematch and earn lots more money. Also, the draw controversy was bound to happen - look back through my posts on Quora and Youtube over the last year or so (even before the fight was made) and I have, along with anyone else who knows anything about boxing and has followed the politics, said that there is no way GGG is winning on a Mexican weekend, against a Mexican fighter, in a casino, in Vegas, in a bout sanctioned by the NSAC and promoted by Golden Boy……. Canelo Im telling you now will never lose in Vegas unless he is KO’d, and he’s too slippery for that.If the fight was in NYC, Wembley Stadium, Texas or anywhere else GGG would have got a UD or MD, Vegas is Canelo’s town now and the money the Mexican weekends bring in when he fights is huge - he’s not losing until there is a new Mexican star ready to take his place.

Who would win a fight a rhino, tiger, bear, anaconda?

The outcomes of such fights, if they somehow were to occur, would vary. Consider the great range of fighting strength and skill that exists among men, and you may see why.
We can make estimates however, and I say the rhino would emerge winner, but even the bear has a fighting chance.

There used to be a series on Discovery channel called Animal-Face-Off, where they would construct close-to-real replicas (robots) of some animals and see the outcomes of the fight. I have drawn my conclusion after going through the results of this show, and some other reports (sources below).
You see, the anaconda could take care of the tiger (it did away with a jaguar on Discovery), but it would not be so effective against such big and mighty animals as Rhinos and Bears (the size of anacondas you hear about is generally exaggerated - most are under 5m long). Also, both the rhino and the bear would prove too much for the tiger individually. Among the rhino and the bear, the winning is not so clear. The rhino is more massive, has a very strong hide, and a fatal charge. But the bear has claws, great strength, and more flexibility in a fight. But on Discovery again, a walrus' skin was too much for a polar bear. So the rhino has an advantage and would more probably win.

Who would win in a fight between Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua?

Styles make fights. Other folks who have answered various questions about this fight and these two fighters, especially Jawad Akram, Johnny Walker, and Tony Solange, have captured their strengths and weaknesses pretty well:Anthony Joshua is a puncher/boxer with good power, decent boxing skills, and good technique. Those are his strengths, combined with his great size and strength. His weaknesses are that he is somewhat stiff, and ponderous, not lightning fast, and has a mediocre chin. His competition has also been mediocre, a bunch of never was's, has beens, and one old man. (Wlad Klitschko was 41, a decade past his prime when he almost beat Joshua!)In addition, Joshua has no ring IQ. He depends completely and utterly on his trainer to make in fight adjustments.Deontay Wilder is a pure puncher, a slugger with God given power, in both hands. He is not as big as Joshua - although 6'7", he only usually weighs in about 212, which is actually quite small by today's super heavyweight standards. He is quite quick, and extremely athletic, far more so than Joshua. He is also a poor technical boxer, to put it mildly. Mark Breland, Wilder's assistant trainer, said when asked about Wilder's boxing skills, "he's at where I was at 11." (that is age 11!) Wilder has also faced mediocre competition, except for Luis Ortiz, the much avoided Cuban, and Fury. There is a reason that Joshua's team has been lowballing Wilder for over a year. They know very well what is likely to happen to their cash cow in a fight between the two...A fight between Joshua and Wilder would come down to who nailed who first, and whose chin is the best. Joshua has a tendency to wade in and exchange and that would doom him against Wilder. Wilder throws a much, MUCH harder punch, and has a better chin. If Joshua would box him carefully, he might prevail, but he won't do that. He will rush in and try to slug it out with Wilder, and then goodnight to the big, stiff, Brit.
