Who Else Besides Diamond Can I Get Comics From

Name an anti-hero and tell me why are they considered an anti-hero?

The protagonist (hero) in the Lord of the Rings, would be Frodo. The hero is the one who has his world turned upside down and is forced to go on a long journey. During this journey, he will meet someone or something that will try to stop him. The enemy of the hero is the antagonist or anti hero. In this case it would be Sauron. The antagonist (anti hero) will be constantly trying to do bad things to the hero to prevent/stop his journey. In the end, the hero will defeat the anti hero, and will returned changed by the journey.

In Star Wars, Luke is the hero, while Darth Vader is the antihero.

The hero is ususally who the audience cheers for. Now, there are some films that do a switch, and the audience is drawn in to the antagonist (anti hero) but this is definitely rare. Generally books and film do not make the anti hero out to be the all out bad guy. They give them some kind of feelings, some reason to be evil. Like the Captain of the Flying Dutchman in Pirates, who had his heart broken by an immortal woman. This helps to make a three dimensional character.

Hannibal for example, is the anti hero, but you cheer for him because you see what he sees. You brings you in, and you're drawn to it through seeing his thoughts, his emotions, his past, etc. His sister was killed by the soldiers, so you want him to take revenge. However, he's not the hero of the story, he's the antagonist. He's the anti-hero. It's seeing the deeper side of things that can draw you in to the anti hero.

Generally books and movies do not do this, as you are supposed to cheer for the hero. Some that do cause the audience to cheer for the anti hero, do so because their storyline for the hero is not strong enough. Some movies and stories are simply so twisted, that it confuses the viewers and readers, and that is how they want it.

In typical hero stories, you're not supposed to like the bad guy. The prince should be cheered on for rescuing the Princess from the bad witch, etc. Hollywood any more is far more complicated with their stories...and the twists and turns. Like Halle Berry in Perfect Strangers. You cheer for her, because you think Bruce Willis killed her friend. She goes on this interesting journey, and in the end, you realize she's the bad guy and the antagonist all along.

The biggest problem is removing common coal impurities like Ferric Sulphide, hydrogen sulphate and sodium chloride. These would have to be removed before any form of thermal processing. There would be a need to control levels of nitrogen too if the colour of the diamond is to tend away from blue to white. At this point you would need to decide which process to use, either high pressure and high temperature (HPHT) or chemical vapour deposition (CVD), both of which are well understood. With careful management it is possible to produce synthetic diamonds with superior hardness, thermal conductivity and electron mobility than naturally formed diamonds.

How is it possible for anyone to say Bret Hart doesn't deserve to get screwed in Montreal 1997+BQ?

This is My FINAL Question about Montreal Screwjob.

I don't know how it is possible to defend him, even being a Bret Hart's Fan. Some said he deserved to get screwed, and some said he didn't.

I myself also start to think Bret Hart deserve to be screwed. I mean he chose to go to WCW in the end. And since he knew he was going to WCW very soon, the rival company, he should have agreed to drop WWE Title to Shawn Michaels that night in Montreal no matter how much he and Shawn Michaels hated each other in real life.

And honestly I can't blame Vince McMahon Jr for being so scared of Bret Hart taking WCW Title to WCW. It had happened before with Alundra Blayze. So, I don't think it was because Vince McMahon was such a paranoid who believed buttkissers Triple H and Shawn Michaels more, but I believe because Vince McMahon had kind of TRAUMA. And who can't blame him for that.

I don't say Vince McMahon Jr isn't innocent. He was. He should have done other alternatives maybe do an immediate change to Survivor Series match, adding a third person to the match so Bret doesn't have to lose the belt to Shawn Michaels.

So, I think both have their own fault. And Bret did deserved to get screwed that night. Because no matter how much he had dedicated his life to WWE and Vince McMahon, he should realize he had decided to leave for rival company soon and his alternatives of forfeiting the gold the next night would lower the prestige of WWE Title. And also he should have realized Vince McMahon might have a TRAUMA over Alundra incident. Thus, he should agree to drop WWE Title that night to Shawn Michaels, no matter how much he and Shawn hated each other in real life.

BQ : Is holding the tights while pinning your opponents ILLEGAL in WWE? I know it's a dirty move, but I ask it's illegal or not, since the referee just keep counting even if they saw the tights were being held (but I might be wrong, maybe the referee didn't see). Unlike when the referee saw a wrestler pin by using ropes, the ref would stop counting. So, is it an illegal move or legal one?

Why is it hard to become a singer?

One of the most diverse muscles in our bodies is the tongue. This amazing tool not only helps you talk, but also helps you properly sing. When you sing, it is important that your tongue rest in specific areas as certain notes or scales are attempted. Learn here how to sing https://tr.im/improveyoursinging
The tip of the tongue is the easiest to control, but is not what is used the most in singing. When you sing, the tip of your tongue should be lightly pressed against the back of the lower teeth. This will ensure that it doesn't get in the way, or hinder the middle, sides, or back of the tongue when attempting certain notes. The back of the tongue, probably one of the hardest areas to control, should be the section that is relaxed. Once you get used to keeping the tip of your tongue lightly pressed against the back of your teeth, this should be easier to do. You can even put the tip a little lower if you feel it's in the way or becomes irritated. So, the back of the tongue should be relaxed, yet ready for use. You should be able to control it a little bit at this point. As you practice singing a little more, try to notice what the back and middle section of your tongue are doing. On lower tones or notes, the tongue will lie flat. On higher tones, the contrary. When it comes to lower tones, the tongue doesn't have as much work to do because the lower sound that is emitted originates in the chest cavity and is formed through the throat. With higher tones, however, the higher the tone, the more 'active' this back section of the tongue must be. Now that the tongue has been covered in some detail, it should be noted that singing is difficult on the muscles and surrounding cavities and ligaments. However, difficult does not mean painful. If in hopes of reaching a certain tone or trying to hold a sound, you thereby cause stress to your neck or throat muscles, you are not going to last long. Controlling these muscles, as steadily as possible, and working them to a certain point each day, without strain, is one of the most important factors when it comes to practicing and learning how to sing. Remember, you should never feel pain nor strain.

Like many people have already stated, the Joker is apolitical. He does not have a philosophical worldview that easily lends itself to an organization with a specific ideology, unless it is purely criminal. And he is not a fan of Nazis (or probably Neo-Nazi terrorists). But besides this, Joker tends to not work well with others in general. He often attacks other villains who are fighting Batman, as he believes only he is allowed to kill Batman. He is also known to go against the group, in order to do what he feels is most fun. This erratic behavior led Alexander Luthor Jr. to exclude Joker from the Secret Society of Supervillains, making him one of the few villains to not even receive an invitation. Which ultimately did not work in his favor.

There are plenty of jobs in the comic book industry!Of course there are jobs as a Comic Book Creator - this can take a lot of forms (from writer, to artist (penciller, inker, colorer, even flatter!), to letterer & designer!) Then there are editors, who help guide the creative direction & logistical production of books. Some are independent while others work at Publishing Companies. If they're at publishing companies, they're serving alongside a wide variety of other comic industry professionals. Of course there are the different levels of editors alongside them (from Assistant Editors all the way up to the Editor in Chief). And there are usually Marketing & Sales / Operations personnel who help raise awareness about the books, coordinate with press outlets and retailers, run social media accounts, or manage the convention presence for the publishers.Publishers often employ in-house designers, too, and have other staff handling everything else - like the legal work that comes with publishing comics.Of course, bigger publishers have more roles and smaller publishers tend to employ fewer people. Then, there are more and more other companies working in the comics medium but with a greater emphasis on the technological side that employ developers. New publishers like Stela Comics who are focused on publishing mobile-first / native comics have tech personnel and so do online platforms like Comixology! And of course, digital isn't the only place comics are sold. Diamond Comics, the comics industry's only distributor - yes, only distributor - employs its own staff. And every Local Comic Book Store has salespeople and a manager / owner / buyer who decide what to buy from Diamond and help their readers find books they enjoy! There are probably a few jobs that fell through the cracks of my breakdown, but this should serve as a solid overview, at least! Hope it helps!

No, but yes, but no.  It sounds like I'm being obtuse, but trademark law is...weird.First off, Marvel Comics has a long-standing trademark on the word "Marvel" for (surprise!) comic books.  If anybody ever tries to sell a book using the word, Disney (Marvel's owner) pretty much has an obligation to sue to protect their trademark and make sure that consumers aren't confused as to the source of the book.  DC would almost certainly lose that case, because a lot of people would assume that a book with the word "Marvel" on the title would naturally come from Marvel, which puts their reputation in someone else's hands. However, Marvel and DC, even when they act like bitter rivals, have always had a close relationship, if only because they share most of their staff.  I'd be willing to bet that, if DC called and asked, they'd be allowed to license the name cheaply or for some minimal consideration like top billing in the next inter-company crossover.  In that sense, DC could do it, but I doubt anybody else could pull it off. But, the name, especially when starring characters who aren't very famous, wouldn't be worth the trouble.  Diamond, the monopolistic distributor, doesn't like to carry books from different companies with similar titles, so they might well refuse to carry the book, even with a license.  There would be potential customers looking through DC books who would skip a book with "Marvel" in the title assuming it was incorrectly categorized, too.  So, it would probably be a bad business move and it's possible that they wouldn't be able to actually ship the comic without putting a lot of pressure on Diamond.

I would say, “thanks for the a2a!” But I know how it works: sometimes you just click “follow,” and quora just asks for people to send this question to. My name is probably on the top half of the list and people just clicked on it. So I'm just gonna say, I got a request to answer it and so I will:Adamantium is stronger than vibranium. All of the special things vibranium can do means nothing. Adamantium is known to be “virtually indestructible,” while vibranium is not. Adamantium is so strong, it can't even cut itself. Sorry V! Adam is Stronger!Anti-metal is not stronger than adamantium either. It's not the metal's physical “metalness” that destroys other metal, it's the vibrations. So you aren't cutting anything, you're dissolving it. that alone is not a case of V being stronger than Adam. That's just its properties. Is a wooden stake stronger than an aluminum bat? No. But if you make that stake a torch and use the fire to melt the bat, then the stake won.Cap's shield isn't pure vibranium. So his Shield shouldn't be used as an example.Which is known to be virtually indestructible? Adamantium.Which is not? That loser, vibranium.Short, sweet, and to the point.Peace.
