Why do people hate braces?
well first of all eating is hard to do they can hurt, I like my braces, I think they look cool, but there are disadvantages when you have them, food gets stuck all the time!!!!!!!!!!!!
Smile before and after braces, i hate my smile?
At the very beginning wen i 1st got my braces and the major Noticable problems were fixed, i loved my smile. It was more of an upside-down triangle i loved it. Now its almost time to get my braces off and my smile is wider. Its no longer an upside down triangle, its more of a rectangle! I really hate it and i really need to fix it! Someone Please help me!!! ;( I just want a BIG pretty smile, not a WIDE one!
I hate the color of my braces?
UGH so i have a purple power chain and pink and purple on bottom but it looks ugly and i dont know what to do should i cut the chain off and get it replaced ( say i was eating something and it fell off) or what??? i no this is vain but i am crying. http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/6036/bracesm.jpg are they that bad?

Aww, i feel ya. I went through the same pain last year!! What ever you do though, DO NOT rip them out (you only make that mistake once). Bite down on something, it sounds crazy but it will help. Eat soft foods, and brush your teeth very gently. Good Luck:)
What do braces on your teeth feel like?
Braces are such lovely things…First, the color selection…OH MY:Then you get to have an EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE mouth prop inserted into your mouth:Don’t forget your monthly appointments. Usually you get wire changes at every appointment.The brackets and pointy wires brush up against your mouth causing lovely canker sores. Which is where the wax comes into place:The wax sticks PERFECTLY everytime!Once your teeth start getting straighter and it’s almost time for you to get your braces off, there’s only 2 weeks left of torture:I had to wear six rubber bands. Rubber bands are especially fun when they start to break in your mouth. I can faintly still hear the popping sound…You’re almost finished…wait…maybe. Time for my favorite! Teeth impressions:You better hope they don’t mess up, or else you get to gag to death for the third time.The pink stuff has a rubbery texture that gets stuck all in your mouth. Mmmmm…yummm!Next are retainers! I got clear ones:But some get ones like these:Whatever ones that you get, be prepared to wear them every night for the rest of your life or you can just start the whole process all over again! Yay!!Lol…but for real though. Braces have pros and cons just like everything else. At first it’s hard to eat anything due to the pain and feeling like you have an extra set of teeth! But after a while you get really used to them. Sometimes I’d almost forget they were there! I’m actually really blessed to have my teeth nice and straight now!Tips: Use wax it defintely helps! Take pain medicine if needed, brush your teeth extra good(Watch Youtube videos on the proper way to brush your teeth with braces.), dental floss, don’t eat super hard food without cutting it up first, and try to make it to all your appointments! If you do this you are sure to get your braces off before you know it!
I hate my teeth, just got my braces off?
OMG!! i just got my braces off (literally 10 min ago) and i feel the EXACT same way!! ugh! they look horrible!! maybe because braces make your gums recede, so hopefully they'll come back! ugh i think i look like a bucktoothed vampire cause all my teeth but the front ones are pointed. ='[[ i hate how they look. and mine are all stained and gross so until i get them whitened im not showin mah grillz.
New back Brace and I hate it?
If you are wearing it for scoliosis I understand where you are coming from. I had to wear my brace 22 hrs. a day. In one respect you are lucky my brace was made of stainless steel, velcro straps and these horrific feeling stiff pads. I had to tuff it out and was so thankful for the time hr. in morning and night when I could get out of it. When I got to remove it during those times I had to do exercises along with getting my showers. In time you will get use to it. As far as hiding it, I could not hide mine seeing the steel went around my neck with bars down to my butt. The screws in holding the steel in place tore my clothes so my mom was having to make me new clothes to wear all the time since I could not wear store bought clothes. In the long run I am glad I wore my brace, it did straighten my spine some and prevented me from having surgery. Take Care, and May God Bless You
