Who Has A Copy Of The 1982 Filipino Movie

What do Filipinos think of Indians?

A frank evaluation, please don’t be offended.Very spicy food - I can’t eat Indian food without water on my side, but it’s actually good, though some folks can’t tolerate the spiciness.Engineers / Doctors / IT Pros - Skilled people, have been working with Indians, specially in our field (IT-Computer Science).English speakers - Can communicate freely in English, no language barrier at all, but some have quaint accents (same with us, some may have that mother tongue effect).Quaint smell - No offense, not being a snooty asshole here, it’s just that I always encounter them inside elevators but I can’t stand the smell. Maybe it’s just the food or even bad hygiene. In our country, there’s a culture with personal hygiene and disdain “violators” that’s why some racist gags about them here is about this thing and is certainly a bad rep.Friendly - They can talk with anyone comfortably but the negative side is they don’t seem to mind personal space much, even with strangers (Indian men hitting on a random Filipino girl with suggestive remarks creepily, they seem to be too confident and casual). They are pacifists and don’t do/know fistfight especially to the point of being very angry when other people would simply jump on you to fight. There’s a notion they can’t hurt anyone even if very angry, they are exact opposite of the infamous Arabic wife-beating stereotype (sorry Arabs, that’s stereotyping for you), most here would say “mabait / masunurin sa asawa” and “under the saya (obedient husband)”.Most can’t really differentiate between Indian subcontinent countries, we usually all lump them as one, as with Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Sri Lankans etc. Most people here don’t know (or ignorant) the difference that much and call them all “Bumbay”.Indian movies - Had watched a few, quite entertaining really. Some titles are popular here. 3 Idiots, Ghajini, etc.Oh lastly, some of us associate them all with “usury” here, which is honestly unfair but simple (ignorant) folks accept this notion. These are just generalizations and frank impressions, we all know one individual does not represent all of India and these things may or may not apply to each and everyone.

Filipinos: What’s better Mang Inasal or Jollibee?

I have often suggested it is time for a snack, lunch or dinner (usually a hint made when have just passed a local native Filipino restaurant that I would like to try.)Almost universally the answer would be keep driving there will be a Jollibee in a few miles. When in more remote areas it was (and still is) a special treat to take the kids to Jollibee at a weekend or holiday. As a result Filipinos of all ages will enjoy a visit to Jollibee. For those who are unaware of the delights of Jollibee this is the Philippine home grown equivalent to McDonalds and can be found in every city , mall, and major highway throughout the Philippines.Mang Insal is a wonderfully tasty bbq chicken restaurant chain but has fewer outlets than Jollibee’s . Mang Insal has a selection of Paborito meals which can come with unlimited rice. My preferred Mang Insal dish is pecho with rice.Personally as a non-Filipino I would prefer Mang Insal for a meal, but I know that my decision will count for nothing if there is a vote made, as almost all my Filipino friends would chose Jollibee. So when arriving at Jollibee I just hope that they have the Tuna Pie available, as I the pink sauce they put on the burgers just is just too sweet for my tastes. For information,Mang Insal brand is 100% owned by Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC).References :Mang Inasal Philippines - The World's Leading Fast Casual Restauranthttp://www.jollibee.com.ph/

What are the scariest movies ever made?

I am a horror and thriller fan. I watch a lot of them. But for me the scariest movie is not a horror. You’ve probably heard the song One by Metallica. If you’ve seen the music clip you see they used clips from a film in the video. Because I am a curious guy I looked up the movie “Johnny Got His Gun”The movie, much like the metallica song, tells the story of a young soldier in world war 1 that gets hit by an artillery shell. He wakes up in the hospital a quadruple amputee who has also lost his eyes, ears, mouth and nose. He lost 4 of his 5 senses and the ability to move. He remains conscious and able to reason, but his wounds render him a prisoner in his own body. The movie is about him thinking, remembering his life before the war. After years he learns to communicate, using morse code. He asked to be shown to the public so people know the horrors of war. When they deny him that, he begs to be euthanized, which he is also denied. He has to stay the remainder of his life a prisoner of his own body. He can’t see, hear, speak, taste, move. He’s all alone. That is the scariest movie I’ve ever seen.

Who sang the original soundtrack of the 1983 movie Moments of Love?

Moments of Love
Close beside you in the warmth of the light
Althrough the night
It's just you and me making music to the beat of our hearts
lost in the stars

Chorus:
moments of love, oh moments of love,
bringing us closer together
sweet memories , sweet memories
I know, we'll remember forever
moments of love

My love and my friend
I can tell you all the things that I feel
all of it is real
here in your arms
I feel I could just do anything
you've given me wings

Repeat Chorus

faded photographs and letters signed I love you
promises we made and kept
and dreams that came true
and dreams that came true
and dreams that came true

and day after day (day after day)
we fill our lives with moments of love
of love...
bringing us closer together
sweeet memories.. (sweet memories)
I know we'll remember together
moments of love
