I'm doing a documentary on early 90's WEST coast rap particularly from like 92-95 timeframe. Why is west coast rap better than east coast rap?
Because the west coast knows how to party. We got better weed. The east coast raps more about the struggles in life. The west coast raps more about the good times in life. The south and midwest are more of a blend between the two coasts.

Which is better? west coast or east coast?
East / West is pretty broad. You can compare North East vs North West or South East vs South West. SF is more in the middle and similar to the Georgia / mid east states. SanFran is a great place to be / live but so is the mid to South East Coast of Florida... Pros on the South Florida side are Gulf Stream waters which are much warmer allowing for all year round beach activity, much better than the pacific, housing is expensive but much cheaper than Calif. Crime is bad in all urban areas so not much difference there. Both areas have a lot of sports and activities so pretty even. SanFran is a bit more refined, Boca/Miami are is a bit more like Vegas without the gambling, sort of like LA but without hollywood and better beaches. All that said NY is a great cultural place to be and the NE coast is great too outside of the winter months anyways.
West Coast vs East Coast?
East Coast, just has more pedigree and nostalgia for me. A lot of west coast stuff is painfully underrated though. 2Pac Big L That one's a *****! I think when it gets this close, influence and impact has to be taken into account so N.W.A. Nas BQ: Brotha Lynch Hung (at the moment - it really just depends on my mood, I don't have a definite favorite)* BQ2: Ghostface Killah* BQ3: I suppose buy, I love that each region has it's own sound and characteristics, that's one of the mains reasons I love hip-hop.

Why did Tupac represent the West Coast if he lived the first 17 years of his life on the East Coast?

Now so much dick thoughout they click they death row slaves" Richie rich ft tupac "****** done changed" He lives in the east but attended art schools and live a poor but educated childhood, but when his mom could no longer support and they became straight poor, they ended up in marin city, so like most men the age of 16-21 is when you become a man, u start going out, u get into ****, and so tupac was raised to be a man while he was in the west, so he felt although he was born out there, what he knows as a man and what he saw in the streets was the west coast type of style Plus his break in music was in oakland, so he had a deep love for the bay because all the support he got from ppl up there like e-40,too short, richie rich, digital underground, and many more, plus how much LA loved him, he just felt he was who he was due to the way he grew up in the west But he always loved NY and the whole west coast vs east coast beef was a gimmick to sell records, before he died it was said he was gonna make a death row east
Where is the best clam chowder, east coast or west coast?
As far as I know the West Coast doesn't have a unique version of clam chowder to call its own. They have a lot of clams, incredibly delicious clams, but their chowder mimics New England clam chowder, just using West Coast clams. I honestly don’t think many people would be able to distinguish a bowl of chowder made with clams from California from one made with Massachusetts clams, honestly.There is another type of clam chowder, Manhattan clam chowder, which omits cream and substitutes a clam and tomato broth.
