Who Here Thinks That Friends Show Is Stupid

What are stupid/fun things to do at the beach with your best friend?

you could go to a secluded place and flash random guys...no dont do that...lmao

well you can pretend to build stuff and when people walk through it, yell at them and look really sad.

look for an invisible friend and get lots of people to help, then suddenly walk away.

stare at random people and when they ask what are you looking at just say that you are not looking at them, but continue to stare.

walk by a group of people and pass gas, then say out loud.."those people faces make my stomach hurt".

pretend that the beach is really a volcano and everyone is melting and the only way to survive is to climb on things....anything...

i have more ideas...if you want to know just email me....blaxx.vodka@yahoo.com

Stupid friend thinks he's sexy?

Ok so one of my friends thinks he is sexy and good looking. But here are some problems that annoy me when he says that
1. you can fit you hand around the thickest part of his arm ( we are both 16)
2. He has a huge dent in his chest that is visable even with his shirt on.
3. He wheres glasses that look like they are from the 60's and thinks they are cool. He does not really need them but were them to make him look "cool"
4. He wheres baggy clothes and still his indent shows. he thinks he is cool in them but really he is so skinny you could fit three of him in them.
I am friends with him because our families have been friends before each of our births.
His facebook status says Ian is a sexy beast or ian is sexy in glasses
Now I am four times bigger than he is and a big football player. I can bench nearly 300 and I have a barreled chest.
He is annoying and I want to hurt him. Especially when he says he is sexy and strong. Now should I beat him up and take it from mine and his parents or just whatever......
Please I don't want to hurt the little guy

My best friend's mom thinks I'm a bad influence on her??!!?

I really know where u coming from here same things happened to me and btw i listen to the same music and watch the same anime as you do the thing is you should talk to her mom or her up front about it and tell her that it is unfair for her to judge u simply on appearance and your interests make a point to prove how u have been best friends with this person for a long time and thats its idiotic for her to pull u appart without the right reasons u are who u are and u can't change that and hey all humans are at least a bit morbid just others embraces it and others do not i learned a long time ago to stop caring what people think and also make a point to say that shes not being a good influence on her daughter by her being so judgemental of others! Don't let things like this ruin a friendship!

My friend's dad thinks I'm a bad influence?

Hey so yesterday one of my best friends father literally EXPLODED on me for something which I don't understand. Apparently I made a remark over Facebook telling my friend to leave his house (run away). Here the thing. I was joking. Plus it wasn't just me. The reason I even said it was because his parents keep taking his xbox and my friend and I would make a joke out of it. I remember us being online and beig like "oh Brandon is here. Lets hurry up before his parents take his xbox again" And here is another thing. Apparently I made the remark 5 MONTHS AGO. so here I have a grown man yelling at me for a harmless joke I made 5 months ago -.- I honestly felt like telling him about how stupid I think he is and make him look like an idiot but I didnt for three reasons. 1. I'm in his house 2. I don't want o have to ruin one of my closest friendships over a dumb parent. And 3. I try to respect people. Thefact that he is yelling at me for something that happened over five month ago!!! And he comes out of nowhere and starts goin off. I try to calm him down by telling him I was joking But he said he doesn't care. He's yelling at me as if his son is missing and he just found this out. His son said it was a joke. That same kid and I have been friends for 7 years now and I'm 16. I have better grades then his son and I sometimes help him with his math or SAT homework. We hang out at eachothers houses and we talk about anything. But now OH I'm a bad influence over one joke I made in October. I even tried to go find it myself and he told me his dad made him delete it. His dad even wanted me to make an apology online. My friends and I make jokes all the time even when or parents annoy us we joke about that. I go on Facebook and I go to his wall to apologize. What got mad is that while I'm at school, someone signed into my account(him) to say "Brandon I am sorry for being a bad friend and a bad influence over you" do you think he overreacted? Should I leave it as it is?

Who here thinks the term "metalhead" is stupid?

I disagree. I am proud to call myself a Metalhead. Sure, I do give other genres a chance, and I don't consider them to suck, and being a metalhead does NOT mean you dislike all other forms of music. However, Metal comprises 99.8% of the music I listen to (I do however quite enjoy Abney Park, Billy Talent, The Tea Party, and Beethoven). Most of the shirts I wear are band shirts, I have long hair, and I have metal posters all on my walls. I simply could not live a happy life if metal ceased to exist. If someone else doesn't like metal, that's fine, I won't force my preferences on anyone, and I won't hold anything against anyone for their tastes.

Why do people say I'm silly to think "Friends" is a terrible show?

To answer your question we would require more depth analysis in knowing why you believe the show was terrible. The broad general statements of writing being awful and sets being bad does not do justice. If the reasons you have for the show being bad are silly then your friends are justified. And if not then we can further go in depth to try to understand who claims you are silly. Perhaps they claim that you are silly because you have never seen a single full episode and claim whole writing is awful ? or perhaps you never saw a funny scene because of the same reason ,that you never sat through a full episode makes others dismiss your thoughts of the series being silly on the whole. To generalize; "people" who love something would defend their love. Friends has a cult following, it was the most popular series in its time, it defined and created a lot of trends and fashion styles in that time period. It might not represent any cultural lifestyle now but to be honest it spawned a culture of cafes as hangout places in my country. Fashion was defined by what people in friends wore. Name a show before friends which had this level of cult following and cultural impact on such a wide scale, not just specific cult. Who was above the age of 15 in that time period and not have heard of F.R.I.E.N.D.S ? or saw the changes in people because of that show? yes people started following examples of friends, the line "hey, how you doin?" was actually used as a pickup line.I agree to someone who never saw it in that time-frame (lets call it friends era), to now pick the show up would be hard to digest. Many things that made the show spectacular are now a norm and thus don't appeal that much. Some items have been repeated so much in other shows after friends that the original has lost its charm. Currently its a nostalgic feeling people have to that series that they still want to see it, they might not like the unlimited episodes once it start coming, as season 9 and 10 we very lame in my opinion. BUT, its a whole decade of one show being at the top 5 of the chartsTo conclude, you might not find it funny because of valid reasons, but at the same time the reasons might be created to rationalize your hatred towards popular trending items (hipsters are defined this way i think).

The “Friends” series is so stupid. Why do people watch it?

Why do people watch it?Because it is entertaining, relatable, and sometimes enlightening. Is it stupid? It is a light hearted comedy show.If by stupid, you mean childish comedy, then no. In my opinion, it isn’t…Okay, may be a little. Is it the best show? That is subjective.I loved it.I am yet to see other critically acclaimed comedy shows (M*A*S*H,Seinfeld etc), so I won’t comment on it being the best show. But here’s my overall experience about my two favorite comedy shows.———————————————————————————————————-Before I watched ‘How I Met Your Mother’, I had heard my friends quoting Barney on many occasions, and they used to recommend the show to me all the time.Being the smartass I was, in an attempt to stand apart from my friends, I started watching HIMYM with a critical mindset. I had high expectations from it.But all I did during the first few seasons was criticize the show. I criticized it more than I enjoyed it. (Later on, I became a fan after I realized that this mindset did no good).———————————————————————————————————-Before watching FRIENDS, I wasn’t aware of how famous the show was. One of my friends, while handing me his USB drive, casually suggested that I should give FRIENDS a try.And so I did. I started out with a little enthusiasm, and an open mind.As the show progressed, and it progressed fast (from 1 episode a day, to almost half a season per day), it was almost like I was bonding with the characters of the show. I just wished that the show was never ending. Time used to fly by blissfully. And after I finished watching the show, for a week or two, there was this void I had that I tried to fill with bloopers and BTS of FRIENDS. It wasn’t the same, though. All good things come to an end.But the happiness I feel when I watch the episodes again, never seems to wane away.Source of Images : Bing

I know this sounds bad, but I think my friend lied about having cancer. How can/should I help her?

I may sound like an asshole saying this, but I think my friend faked having cancer to get attention. Here’s my reasoning, if you’re having a conversation with her, and you’re not talking about her, she’ll chip in and say something like, “you know, I used to have cancer” and then everyone starts feeling sorry for her and the conversation shifts to her. Secondly, when I asked her a few questions about her time having cancer, she never mentioned what stage she had, she never mentioned all (or some) of her hair falling out, she just said that she had leukemia when she was 8, and went into remission after. So, she wears ankle braces because her cancer messed up her ankles, and so I play volleyball frequently, and I always ask if she wants to play along, she always says no. However, she met a guy who’s on the volleyball team, and all of a sudden, she doesn’t wear her ankle braces, and she can now miraculously run? She also doesn’t follow any cancer survivor groups on social media, maybe that’s a dumb speculation, but I’m starting to think that she didn’t have cancer. However, if she did, then maybe she just exaggerated what really happened.
