Isn't the sanctity marriage already ruined?
I look at this a different way. The sanctity of marriage has never really existed. Since the institution of marriage was created, men and women have cheated on their spouses, verbally, physically, and psychologically abused one another. Marriage is nothing more than a silly, out-dated religious institution. I have never been married, and no matter how much I love someone, I never will marry. I don't need a piece of paper. The only benefits to marriage are the tax breaks and federal benefits, and those don't come close to comparing to what you could lose in a divorce.
Am I overreacting when my boyfriend calls celebrities sexy?
I know it sounds very jealous but just hear me out. he's a grown man, so it's not like we're talking about a teenager. When certain women come on tv he does that thing where he shakes his head in awe, like he's never seen anything so beautiful. And then last night we were talking an actress I saw no attraction to lol, so I said "idk, I just don't really think she's that pretty" and he said "i didn't say she was pretty, she is drop dead gorgeous. she's unbelievable looking" That's more than just saying someone is hot or sexy! and he's never called me "unbelievable looking". I know it's insecure of me, but I just thought it was a little insensitive and a little disrespectful. What's your opinion? I'm not sure how I should handle that.
