How has God helped you in your life?

I'm trying to keep my faith strong while my family is struggling. I've been praying, but our miracle hasn't come quite yet. I was hoping to hear some inspirational stories on how God has helped out in your life (with details pls) to keep the doubts away.

*I would really appreciate it if Atheists/non-believers left this one alone. I have chosen my religion/beliefs & I really don't appreciate it when people try to cram their beliefs down my throat. I notice there is a lot of that on Y! so please respect my choice to ask for these stories without all the extra "God isn't real." "He hasn't done anything." crap.* Ty & God bless!

How does math help me in life?

When your just walking down the street on an average day, it would be very rare if you encountered a situation where you needed trigonometry or calculus for example. But If you wish to have a job in an industry that pays extremely well (engineer, computer science, business), you must have a grasp of high level mathematics to succeed.

Mathematical concepts can seem very tough at first, but the more you practice them, the easier they get. Hang in there! You can do it if you try.

How has your imagination helped you in your life?

By making connections across disciplines I could write better answers here on Quora. I was able to apply some quantum mechanics concepts to relationships. I always tried something different. My answers are original. It helped me to write better poetry. My writing help me to feel unique and boost my ego. I feel that I contribute to people happiness. I feel that I’m valuable and that my advices are worth to be heard.I see the effects of my words through others. People message me and appreciate my work. Being imaginative can sometimes be more important than rationality. It helps you find innovative solutions. You go to places nowhere has been before. You trace new roads. You try to be different. You try to be yourself. You try to follow your own destiny.I’m not getting paid by Quora to write, but I know that I have an impact in people lives and that is sufficient for me. I don’t need more. As soon as I get more recognition, I feel more satisfied as I know I can reach more people. The success I get is the reflection of the quality of my answers which is the direct results of my imagination.I try to find new information inside me by digging more in my private garden. Right now there are infinite networks of tunnels of new information discovered this way. I never considered my work to be finite, I think we have all this infinite potential inside us to be imaginative.

Which book helped you to get a breakthrough in your life?

Hi,I am a reader, if nothing else. I read on a daily basis, trying not to miss reading even for a single day. But, out of the multiple books I’ve read, the book that has provided me with breakthroughs (multiple) throughout my life has to be “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne. This book is about the infamous “Law of Attraction”, according to which, we attract the dominant thoughts in our minds as our life experiences. It has helped me overcome my negative mindset, and dare I say, done so during some tough times. I urge every person who reads this answer to read the book themselves, to understand what this is really about.Truly said, you actually become what you think about the most. Think of success, and you become one. :) :)Thanks for reading. :)

What music has helped you get through difficult times in your life? What makes those songs/albums meaningful to you?

ASMR dude. I can’t remember the exact meaning of the words, but it’s the sounds of quiet, like rain, snow, and fireplaces. Some people do ASMR and eat. That’s the weirdest sound, but mostly I started watching them because I liked to see people eat a bunch of bad-for-you fast food.I also loved to hear the crunch and the swallowing. Weird I know, but I have since fallen out of love with people binging. Now I listen to rain sounds. My favourites are the sounds of rain hitting a car on the street. That reminded me of the times I’d go the beach and sit in my car when I was younger. I even slept for a couple of hours. Nothing like sleeping in your car. The seats are comfortable and it was retreat from my noisy family.I recreate it now in my room with the help of ASMR. Just go to Youtube, type in “rain sounds”.Next I found rain hitting a window of a house near to the sea. Man oh man, I immediately thought of Austrailia. I like Austrailia because of this family on Youtube Jamie and Nikki. They are so cute. The husband Jamie loves photography and the wife Nikki is a model. They are the cutest— I said it again—but they are. The perfect family-calm, cool-the wild “surburban” Thornberrys. There are plenty more sounds on Youtube and they do combos too, ever listen to rain with a fireplace. I can give you a memory with that.I think the point of ASMR is to carry you back to positive experiences in your life.I love smartphones and thanks the most for Youtube.NB
