I'm a brunette, and whenever I see blonde hair, I think of how light and pretty it is. Then I see my own hair or someone else's brown hair and I think how gothic and lifeless it is! ew! Dark, boring, gothic, lifeless and dull, or fresh, springy, light, soft and pretty!!!!?

You'll obviously get more brunette answers, since brown hair is more common than blonde. Blonde hair (REAL blonde hair) is very rare and special. Anyway, as far as overall prettiness, your hair shade doesn't matter too much. You can have the most beautiful shade of hair in the world, but if the rest of you is not attractive, it does no good. Conversely, you can have a very common, plain shade of hair (like brown) but if the rest of you is good-looking, then you're prettier than someone with a prettier shade of hair, whose body or face might not be so great. As far as the overall prettiest hair color--I'd have to say it's red. It's so unique and fiery. Next up would be blondes (but ONLY a blonde that looks natural). Natural-looking, well taken-care-of, golden-blond hair is eye-catching and is an exquisite and rare sight to behold. Silky ebony black hair (like the kind most Asians have) is next, followed (at the very bottom) by brown hair. Brown hair is just too common and plain. It's not eye-catching or head-turning. Darker brown hair looks better than lighter brown hair, though.

Oh it matters. Yes yes. It matters.This is the one question that truly confounds me. I am answering this but I really don’t know the answer. I do have a theory and I am willing to toss it out here and see how many people it offends.… Here goes. Guys prefer blondes. There I said it. Now don’t take that as the gross generalization that it is. Hear me out. I find brunette women extraordinarily attractive. However, I feel the same about blondes. Here are the key differences though.When a blonde walks down the street, they turn heads. Even if they aren’t that attractive! There is something about them that makes them stick out. Couple that with the fact that many brunettes lighten their hair because they can feel the same thing. There is just something about a blonde.Now don’t get me wrong. When it comes to attractiveness it isn’t the most significant thing. It probably isn’t even top 10. But if you want to turn heads then you get some platinum hair covering your dome and the guys will be looking.

It's funny you should say this because I am a natural blonde and I have always envied girls with beautiful dark hair. I have also met a lot of guys that prefer brunettes, just like there are guys who prefer blondes. I think that whether your hair is straight or curly, blonde or brunette you will at one point envy someone that is different. It's always greener on the other side of the fence. But the truth is that if you are awesome (like I'm assuming you are) you will be able to rock your hair however it is. And if you decide to try going blonde then that's okay too. I'm sure you will rock that too! (but if you do go blonde please do not use that as an excuse to act dumb! I'm tired of that stupid stereotype!!!!)
